The last challenge

Once at the top of the tower, Mortis was curious to see what his final test would be. When he saw a huge, ornate gate, he rejoiced briefly until it opened and he saw Tenebris and Primus staring into a crystal. When Primus saw Mortis, she waved at him, but Tenebris stood up, put on a ring, and said, "There is the conqueror of the tower, but now comes your final challenge, and it will be me. After all, you took my daughter and also disappeared with my wife. So let's all get this out of the way."

Mortis wondered what he meant, and when the god saw his look, he said, "I'm talking about Venena, you ox. Or do you think such a beautiful woman could be a mere mortal? But then, you call her Lumina by her real name, not her divine one." Mortis just nodded, trying not to let on, but actually he was slightly in shock. Then he said, "What can I say? Maybe she always wanted sisters and a charming, handsome husband. He stroked his hair and hinted at what a handsome guy he wasn't.

But the gesture was too much for Tenebris. Although his lust was first inhibited by Primus, Mortis ignited it in mere seconds. The table with the crystal, as well as the chairs, slid back several feet with Primus, and a circle formed beneath the two men, indicating the battlefield where Tenebris was about to fight Mortis.

Tenebris and Mortis got ready. Tenebris drew 2 daggers, but Mortis put away his scythe and said, "If you're already angry, let it all out. I also have a score to settle with you, so let's settle it like true men." Tenebris threw his daggers far away and said, "We can settle it like that. After all, it will be my pleasure to knock out some of your teeth."

Both ran at each other and took a wide swing, each aiming his right fist at the other's left cheek, hitting both. But that was just the beginning. As they stood in front of each other, they hit each other like crazy, with neither blocking or even trying to dodge. Both just kept hitting the other to let out their frustration and bring the other to the ground with honor. But after several blows were exchanged and both staggered a bit, they began to slowly dodge, but without much effort. Both were aiming more to bring the other to the ground with punches. Tenebris, adjusting his stats, wondered why the blows were so painful and why he was striking quite differently than usual. But if it continued like this, he would lose, and he certainly didn't want to. So he tried a feint. But when Mortis noticed, he grabbed Tenebris by the head and hit his knee against his chin.

The two separated, and Tenebris yelled, "That was cheating. I said we'll settle this like men. Who said it was just going to be a boxing match?" retorted Mortis. That's when Tenebris ran up and crashed into Mortis, taking the opportunity to sit on Mortis to get the upper hand. But in response, he took a knee to the face, and Mortis now sat on him, trapping Tenebris' arms with his legs. Mortis immediately landed a punch to Tenebris' face, then took another swing and said, "Give up!" "All right, all right, I give up. You won that battle," Tenebris said, beaten green and blue, but Mortis fared no better. Primus, still snacking on her cookies, shook her head and said only, "Men."

Mortis tried to help the god up, but he just slapped his hand away and stood up on his own. Then he took out a potion to heal his swollen face. He did not want to give Mortis this satisfaction. Mortis got a potion from Primus, who praised him for doing well in the tower, but she expected Tenebris to hit harder next time. Mortis didn't know why, but he agreed that next time Tenebris should get hit right. Then Primus said goodbye and said that they will see each other again in 18 days.Mortis thought about it, but he couldn't think of anything he had forgotten. He had other things to worry about, however, and when he remembered one important thing, he abruptly turned to Tenebris and asked, "How long was I in that tower?" Tenebris conjured up chairs and said, "Sit down, we have to talk. And don't worry, even if it seemed like days to you, actually just 3 hours have passed. You can still go to Erfurt and be celebrated."

Mortis coolly replied, "I don't care about that at all. I have to let my wives know and then I want to get involved with Kathrin. What do I care if some motherfuckers cheer and cry for joy?" He sat down to hear what else Tenebris had to say.

So, I wanted to enlighten you regarding the ring that captures the shadows of your women. This is a gift from me and it is a help to you, but especially to your women. Because this ring stores the struggles and your experiences and shares them with them. This means that as you become stronger, so will your women, as they can gain experience and value. And that's not all - it distributes the stats that your women need to benefit the most in their class. Lumina won't get anything, which is no wonder, but the others will become stronger in their dreams. After all, they don't have your potential, but with the ring they can become stronger and thus catch up to you. Not that you're having fun with the elves at some point and your women are still on the beginning continent. It would be irresponsible of me for my daughter not to be with her so beloved husband. Therefore, I give you this rare treasure. Oh, and if you have more wives, you can also capture their shadows and change the crystals, otherwise it wouldn't help everyone. And for your victory you will get this. Tenebris handed Mortis a black tower the size of her hand. "What is this?" asked Mortis. "It's this tower. Display it at your house. Time here is 1 in 10, so time here is 10 times slower from now on. And your women can use this tower to become stronger. But also only your wives or your family members. No one else can use this shadow tower. So, I'm going to get out of here. I hope Lumina has better luck with you," Tenebris said and disappeared.

Mortis suddenly stood on the road to Erfurt and saw that the sun was already setting. He took out the spirit bear and rode with him to Erfurt. "You have reached level 65. Use your 50 SP." said the system. "Of course, I'll do as you say, sweetie," Mortis replied. "Put 30 into agility, 10 into strength, and 10 into life force." The system replied,

"Your agility is now 250. A new ability has been unlocked: Wind Armor. Arrows and other projectiles are deflected away from you for 10 seconds, and melee weapons also gain greater wind resistance.

This ability was unlocked by reaching level 65. You also gained the 'Unleashed Spirits' ability. Your sea of souls releases 50 spirits that fly 10 meters through your enemies and then return. Each spirit drains 1% life from your opponents."

Mortis rejoiced and urged the bear to speed up, as he wanted to take Merlin right away before he lost sight of him again for a long time. Arriving in Erfurt, Mortis was celebrated like a hero when he came through the gate. It didn't take long either, there were knights there to escort him to the castle. The guys cheered, but many a woman wanted to fall around his neck in thanks. Some were flirtatious and asked if he would like to marry her or spend the night with her. Some adventurers found this so funny that they offered their own wives as a joke, saying, "Don't worry, I'll be happy to raise your child," and the clapping and laughter grew louder. The men didn't take it so seriously, but one or two of them had a rolling pin knocked in front of their heads by their wives. The mood was huge, and when Mortis arrived at the castle, he was also immediately welcomed by William and Merlin, because William took him with him.

"Where are you coming from now, or is it a ploy to flatter extra ego?" asked William.

"If only it were, I had a test imposed on me and truly had to fight through it," said Mortis.

Neither of them really knew what Mortis meant, but they were glad to see him alive and well. Mortis actually wanted to grab Merlin and head off to the temple to porte from there to Bamberg, but William smelled a rat and pushed him off to the other nobles. Mortis was getting fed up with always being passed back and forth like a doll, but something occurred to him. He took his amulet, gave it to Merlin and said, "Go to the temple and ask my goddess to open a portal to Bamberg. Then go to my castle and pick up my wife Kathrin. Tell her to dress up, and then you and Kathrin will port you here. Oh, and tell the guard that Kathrin, the wife of the Count of Bamberg, will come later so they can let you in."

Merlin looked at the amulet and quickly went on his way, for he too did not want to miss the festivities. The servants were still quickly getting everything ready and cooking, so the party was not yet underway. Rather, there was a commotion going on in the castle, as everyone quickly went to the bathroom and put on the finest clothes. Mortis also took a bath, but like the other nobles, he took his time. He just hoped that Kathrin would show up here with Merlin fairly early. If he can't go home to see his wives, his wives will just have to go to him.

When he was done bathing, Mortis realized he didn't really have anything to wear. Even his gear, which looks good, took a beating. But then he remembered that he can still buy his equipment upgrade in the Reaper store.

Thought Done he bought for 5000 souls the improvement. And suddenly all his equipment floated around him was torn into 1000 pieces and the improvement which was only a black stone sucked everything in then the black stone began to rotate and a moment later it became huge then the being burst and Mortis had a new outfit on.

An elegant suit like that of a mobster in black and silver exudes a certain authority and sophistication. The cut of the suit is perfectly tailored to the body and emphasizes the masculine figure. The material is of the highest quality and looks very classy due to the silky sheen. The deep black hue contrasts nicely with the silver lining, which slightly peeks through when you move and gives the suit an extra touch of sophistication. The details such as buttons, lapels and pockets are subtle yet distinctive, giving the suit a touch of elegance and classicism. Overall, the suit exudes an understated elegance and aplomb that was perfect for a Mortis For this he now had a fedora hat in black felt with a silver hatband.

Mortis looked in the mirror and that was exactly his taste full of joy Mortis made his way to the throne room where they are celebrating as many eyes admired him and wondered what he was wearing but no matter what it is they were all convinced that his clothes gave him a charm they did not know.
