Protect

"Well … that was … a little freaky." Eclipse chuckled as Aseko shoved the hand tightly wound around Eclipse's arm away, breaking it in the process. 

His grip was so strong that even after Aseko is able to pry it off, the indent of where the person held onto him remained. 

"Does it hurt?" Aseko asked, trying to process what had just happened right in front of his eyes without alarming Eclipse too much. 

He slowly turned to Reed to make sure that he is not the only one that saw that and her surprised expression told him everything he needed to know. 

"I think?" Eclipse asked, shaking his hand, completely unaware of what had just happened. Aseko cannot even confirm if the man heard the screaming as well. 

After all, a curse jumping out to create a barrier in front of him the moment the withered body of a person started screaming … it is not something that is seen quite often.
