Ow. Eclipse thought, looking at his dislocated arm on the floor as blood spilt all over the table and the ground underneath. That kind of hurt.

"Eclipse!" Ash ran to him quickly as Hler had to quickly close his nose and turn away from them as the blood continued to spill out even more. "We need to stop the bleeding now! I will take you to the-"

"Ash." Eclipse placed a gentle hand on the man's shoulder. "Do me a favour and take a deep breath. You look a little pale at the moment."

"Pale? Aren't you the one that is injured?" Ash asked, looking at Eclipse's calm face as the blood dotted his clothes and even himself. "You could die."

"I won't die from this. Honest." He said, patting the man on the head. "Just breathe in and out. Calm down and look at your surroundings."

"My surroundings?" He asked, looking around himself before noticing some inconsistencies around him, like the flimsy portrait on the wall that looked like a cheap knockoff of the real thing. Calming down almost immediately, he growled, "Come out!"

"Aww~. You saw through me this quickly?" A playful and childish voice asked as the illusion disappeared with Eclipse getting his arm back.

In front of them appeared a younger-looking man, though Eclipse and him looked to be about the same age, both having similar child-like dispositions. Eclipse does appear to be a little more mature though.

This brown-haired boy turned to Eclipse, a look of interest written all over his eyes as Eclipse offered him a smile, "That was an impressive illusion."

"But, big brother, you were not even fooled by it." The boy said, brown eyes turning wide as he looked him over. "What are you? Are you really a wolf?"

"I am. I think." Eclipse said, scratching the back of his head as he turned to the man. "I am a wolf, right?"

"How will I know that?"

"Well, I just thought you would be able to." Eclipse shrugged turning back to the younger man. "What is your name, by the way? I am Eclipse."

"I am Brick! Twenty years old!" He threw his hands in the air, the sleeves of his shirt falling over his hands.

He wore an overly oversized shirt with sleeves that seemed all too long for him to be able to reach his hands out in and he wore loose cargo pants with chains of the most random things, like a pink rubber duck hanging on them.

His hair is a mess, brown locks with little parts of it coloured in several shades here and there, like a random, midnight endeavour and impulse.

"Are you a new member, Eclipse?" The younger man asked, already two inches from Eclipse's face. "If you are, why are you here? Shouldn't you be in the main building? Are you a criminal? You don't look like a criminal."

"Most of those that are criminals do not look like they are criminals, you best be careful, Brick." Eclipse said, placing his hand on his lips before winking at the man who only looked at him with even more admiration in his eyes.

"Do you have a mate already, Eclipse?" Brick asked as the two watched Ash talking to Hler, helping him calm down but it was no point, he looks too aroused to be sane at the moment.

"Mate? I don't think so." Eclipse said, thinking but that word 'mate' did not ring a bell in his mind, so it can be safe to assume that he does not have one. But better not admit anything, just in case.

Leaving Hler to take care of himself as he teleported away, Ash walked to the two, hands running through his hair, "What are you two talking about?"

"Mates." Eclipse said immediately, smiling as flowers around him seemed to bloom.

"Mates?" Ash frowned slightly, turning to the younger man beside him. "Why do you care, Brick?"

Ignoring the man, Brick turned to Eclipse, taking his hands in him, "Want to be my mate?"

"Absolutely not," Ash said immediately, pulling Eclipse behind him as he glared at Brick. "Besides, I still have to talk to you about that prank you just pulled, Brick."

"Eeehh? Why not. Is he your mate, boss?" He asked, crossing his arms over his chest, pouting slightly. "I thought you did not swing that way."

"I don't."

"Then? Why are you trying to keep him to yourself?" Brick whined, trying to get to Eclipse but Ash kept blocking his way. Unfortunately, the boy was far too nimble and he ended up being able to wrap his arms around Eclipse's waist, holding on to him tightly.

"It is nothing like that, Brick. Let go." Ash pried the boy off him, holding him up by his shirt's collar, like a kitten. "He is not anyone's mate."

"Huh?? Are you interested in sleeping with him but not making him your mate? Meanie!" Brick tried to fight against Ash but he was hardly able to even reach him. "Our boss is a big meanie."

"Stop coming to conclusions on your own, you shitty brat!" Ash shouted, throwing the younger man aside as he caught himself and stood up with ease.

Eclipse merely just looked at the exchange between the two, thoroughly amused and with no intention of jumping in any time soon.

"If that is not the case then what is it?" He asked, pouting slightly as he stared at the man with nothing but a very sceptical look on his face.

"Eclipse here is our guest." He pointed at Eclipse who waved at Brick with a smile on his face as the man reciprocated. "He has lost almost all his memories. So there is no telling if he does have a mate or not. Not to mention, we do not want that kind of problem in the midst of all of this."

Brick looked at Ash closely and then at Eclipse who still looks quite at ease with everything that is happening around him. In fact, he looks a little too calm.

"Lost his memory?" He asked Eclipse who nodded.

"So far, all I know is that my name is Eclipse and I am twenty-nine in age, I don't know much else." Eclipse finally joined in, explaining his situation to Brick who listened to him more intently than he did to Ash. "I hope you do not mind that I am like this, Brick."

"Not at all." Brick said, wrapping his arms around Eclipse. "I promise I will look after you. And, if your mate is dead, I can take their place."

"Oi!"

Eclipse laughed, amused at the dynamic between the two as they continued to squabble in front of him while he ate the little biscuits on the table, not sure what he felt about them.

I really am hard knowing something when experiencing it is an entirely different … experience as your memories. He sighed, putting the biscuit down, unable to finish it. I really need to start doing something about my memories first.

"By the way, why are you even here, Brick?" Ash asked as the two finally calmed down, sitting on the chairs like they were not just fighting. "You do not like coming to these parts of the place."

"Oh! Right! I almost forgot!" The younger man said, getting to his feet with realization flooding his face. "I was told by the old boss to call you over. It was because of him that I thought Eclipse was a threat."

"Ah. That's why you immediately made us start hallucinating?" Eclipse asked, clapping his hands together. "I thought that was a little weird."

"I apologise for that."

"No worries. I got to see something impressive." Eclipse smiled, looking at the younger boy's admiring eyes. "What did the person who called him tell you?"

"That he felt something … off in his place. He smelt the scent of the boss and Hler but he said there is 'something' else there. So I immediately thought it was something bad." Brick shrugged, finishing the remainder of the biscuit that Eclipse ate before, smiling happily. "Yay! I indirectly kissed Eclipse."

Sighing, Ash leaned back against his chair, looking up at the ceiling as he stared at nothing blankly, "I was hoping to keep you a secret, but that old man is quite sharp. I was a little too confident to think that this would get past him."

"Who is this person we are talking about?" Eclipse asked as innocently as he could. He had a guess but a guess confirms nothing.

"The big boss. The boss of our boss. He is the one that is supposed to take over after he … you know … dies." Brick explained, appearing in front of Eclipse and sat on his lap, leaning against him contentedly, much to Ash's annoyance. "I think you should bring him too, boss."

"Yeah. That would be better." Ash said, chewing at the inner corners of his mouth. "Besides, the safest he is with is with me."

"Really? I have yet to see you as capable of anything though." Eclipse teased as he began playing with Brick's hair as the younger man leaned against him contented.

"What did you say?"

"Nothing~." Eclipse gave him a gentle smile that he could not argue against. "So, we are meeting the big boss? I can't wait."

"Let's go now and get this over with," Ash said, getting up from his seat and walking to the door while Eclipse carried Brick in his arms, the younger man's legs wrapped around his waist and arms wrapped around his neck.

Annoyed, Ash pulled the boy off Eclipse and threw him out of the window, breaking it to pieces as Eclipse waved at Brick, who waved back as he fell out the window, broken glass and parts of the window falling with him. A loud thud following.

"Let's go!"

"Ok~!"
