Appreciation

"Enzo, what was that?!" Jean asked, throwing his hands in the air as Brianne slammed the door behind her. No one else other than Reed and Elijah are in the room with them. "What the fuck did you just do?!?" 

"I did what I believe I should have." He said, sighing the moment he sat down on the couch beside the fireplace, still soaking wet but no one is bothering with that anymore. With the rain still rushing outside. "I have to admit … it was not my best plan but I am working it as I go." 

"Whatever your plan was, we do not do things like that. Not to someone we just met or even someone we have known for a while now." Elijah said with a deep frown on her face. "That is not how we operate, Enzo. You know how muc-" 

"I know," Aseko said, pressing his temples in annoyance. "I know. And I don't know if you all knew but if I did not do that, Kei would have ended up dead."
