Myriad storm Emperor

Xuanyuan was mystified by the purity and density of the Mana in the Myriad storm sect. If the Mana in the city was otherworldly, the Mana here is heavenly. It's as if he'd stepped into a heavenly paradise and there can't be any better haven than this especially for Magical class players. They'd receive a big boost to their combat power if they fought in this place.

Although the purity of Mana in this place was great, he could sense that it's due to a super gigantic Magic array that linked the whole Mountain range to an energy vein leading to a huge boost to Ambient Mana.

Energy veins are not common in the Realm of spirituality especially in the modern era. They are natural sea of energy usually deep within the Earth and the land above an energy in vein will be especially rich in Mana purity and density. That's why the sects, Guilds and headquarters always sought land with energy veins to construct their headquarters. The separate dimension of the Great Saints in the modern era was one such environment.

Xuanyuan was led to a private building in the inner regions of the Myriad storm sect so he could take a rest. After settling him down, Silver king excused himself and left to report to the sect elders of his journey. Xuanyuan seized this opportunity to log out and rest a bit...

"Mr Sage yuan" Silver king began. "I hope you're comfortable in the Myriad storm mountain range" he asked.

"Yeah" Xuanyuan replied.

"Well, I explained to my father about your situation and he asked me to bring you to him" Silver king said.

"Okay. When?"

"Anytime. Even now"

"Alright. Let's set off then" Xuanyuan said and packed up a few belongings and set off to Myriad storm palace inside the Myriad storm mountain range. This was the dwelling place of the sect master of the Myriad storm sect, the Myriad storm Emperor.

After about half an hour, he arrived at a majestic palace that appeared like a heavenly pavilion as it's surrounded by liquid Mana that made it difficult for one to get sick. Xuanyuan couldn't help but lament as he stepped into this palace, it was akin to a different world on its own and if he'd to compare it to the top tier Manors of the modern era, it's as if they'd been breathing shit.

"I have brought Sage yuan to you father" Silver king shouted. It turned out that he's a descendant of the sect master of Myriad storm sect. No wonder he was tasked with guarding the precious treasure previously.

"Bring him in" a deep voice rang out and Silver king led Xuanyuan into the palace.

They both walked down to the end of the corridor and arrived in front of a flight of stairs that led to the next floor.

"I'll wait for you here" Silver king said.

"You won't go up?" Xuanyuan asked.

"Yes" Silver king nodded and turned back.

Xuanyuan nodded and stepped on the stairs and ascended to the other floor.

The room on the next floor isn't too big, only about the same size as a basketball court. The room is relatively empty except for the presence of a middle-aged man who stood with his back facing him. It's the Myriad storm Emperor, the sect master of the Myriad storm sect.

Xuanyuan's gaze landed on this Emperor who radiated an aura that's even stronger than the one radiated by the Jade spear Emperor. This was a testament to how powerful Ancient Emperors are compared to modern Emperors. They can even contend against Saints of the modern era.

"Where do you come from?" the Myriad storm Emperor asked with a deep voice containing a trace of hostility within. True humans are legends even in the Ancient realm of spirituality and they are the noblest among human cultivators. They can even contend against nature blessed creatures like the Divine dragons. Meanwhile, the bloodline of true humans had become extinct especially after the terrific war that nearly destroyed the whole realm. The last true human to have existed was the legendary ancestor of the humans, the Ancient God of humanity and informations pertaining to him are unknown. He might even be dead. One can imagine how bewildered the Myriad storm Emperor is to learn of the existence of a true human.

"I came from Jade spear city" Xuanyuan replied.

"Never heard of it" the Emperor muttered which Xuanyuan understood. Jade spear city was an ordinary that came into existence later and only became a holy city due to his status as the ninth Saint. Xuanyuan wasn't expecting the Emperor to know of the city.

"How did you get here?"

"I arrived in this place after stepping into an ancient gate while searching for ways to become a sword King" Xuanyuan replied deliberately concealing the essential information.

"Hmmmm" the Emperor sighed and turned to Xuanyuan with a solemn expression.

"I have no idea about how you will get promoted to the next tier with your unique bloodline" the Emperor said.

"However, there's a temple in Divine sky city founded by the Great ancestor. If you travel to that place, perhaps you might find clues relating to your bloodline" the Emperor advised.

"But I do not know the way to Divine sky city" Xuanyuan said pitifully. He could feel a headache brewing. If his tier 3 promotion is already so difficult, how terrifying will his future promotions be?

The Myriad storm Emperor nodded in understanding after all, Divine sky city was a top tier city in the Ancient realm and one could even find true tier 6 Gods. It's not a place any tier 3 King can venture to. It's normal if Xuanyuan doesn't know the way...
