Celestial pavilion

Xuanyuan navigated his way around the players and NPCs eventually arriving in a secluded office beyond the Hall where no players bothered to attend to. A level 100 tier 1 NPC sat casually fiddling with a tea cup with a relaxed expression as if confident that no one would waste their time on him. Meanwhile on the door of the office was carved "Guild creation".

Xuanyuan knocked and stepped in before he was even asked to enter. The NPC was annoyed when he saw this but when he scanned the 'intruder' he revealed a dumbfounded expression as he quickly stepped out of his desk to bow to him.

"Greetings to the city lord!" the NPC greeted.

"I can see you're enjoying yourself" Xuanyuan said.

"No my lord. I just had some free time and decided to have some tea before things get busy again" He explained. "How I can help you, my lord?" he asked.

"I wish to create a Guild" Xuanyuan replied.

"Guild creation costs 1000 gold coins but as the city lord..." The NPC couldn't complete his sentence before Xuanyuan dropped a bag on the table.

"Here is the form. Please fill it" he handed Xuanyuan a sheet where informations are to be filled out.

<What would you like to name the Guild?>

"Celestial pavilion!" Xuanyuan muttered as he wrote.

<Please draw out a symbol for your Guild>

Xuanyuan contemplated for a while before placing his palm on the sheet, then removed it after a few seconds. The picture of a golden dragon ascending to the sky appeared in the sheet. This picture gave off a realistic sensation that makes one think as if a true dragon was ascending to the sky in front of him. Even the NPC was impressed as he had never seen such a cool Guild symbol before.

<Congratulations! Guild creation successful. Rewarding XXXX EXP>

Guild name: Celestial pavilion.

Guild leader: Sage yuan (Ninth Saint)

Guild member: 1

Rank: third grade...

Xuanyuan was surprised once he examined the Guild tab. Usually, newly created Guilds would start at the unrated rank and rank up once certain conditions are met. But the Celestial pavilion started directly at third grade rank. This was probably because of his status as the Ninth Saint.

"Congratulations, my lord" the NPC said.

"Continue with what you were doing?" Xuanyuan replied and swiftly found his way out of the Adventurer's association.

Xuanyuan left the association and immediately headed towards the city Lord's Manor not quite far away but he still took ten minutes to arrive at the Manor but took less to reach the inner region of the Manor.

Once he took a few dozens steps into the inner region he could vaguely feel the shockwaves generated from one the training rooms in the Manor and if Xuanyuan didn't know any better he'd have concluded this was a clash between two tier 3 existences. But in reality, it was Pure spring having a duel with Xingyao and from the look of things the latter cannot hold out for much longer before she will be defeated.

Healers in the Realm of spirituality are the weakest in terms of DPS. That's why healers never fight alone without having a damage dealer or possess a unique class. Though healers can restore their HP lost in battle they still weren't immortal and anybody could just wear them out with spells and skills while their healing spells are on cooldown.

In a one of one fight, a skilled healer can never kill a Swordman unless there was a big difference in tiers between them.

But here, Xingyao,a Swordman was unable to overwhelm Pure spring, a Cleric despite being of the same tier. It was not because Xingyao was weak because she exhibited the combat standards of a half step Void realm expert and possessed Mana control at Basic tier 4 standard. This was enough to overwhelm any ordinary tier 3 King.

But against Pure spring who was already a Void realm and had Mana control at intermediate tier 4 standard, she couldn't put up a good fight because the Cleric had a Mana domain active. Xingyao had only been able to fight for so long because of her decent combat standards.

Pure spring on the other hand looked so much at ease as she comfortable combined various Magic symbols that continuously claimed HP of the Swordman. It appeared she could even take more of Xingyao's. This was the difference between having a Mana domain and not having one.

During the past few days, they've been diligently studying Magic symbols and how to use them and being explained by Xuanyuan, they had an easier time grasping this ability and now even Pure spring could cast Magical spells that do not belong to her class. This made her even more terrifying and even Assassins like Shadow empress had to be wary of her.

"I surrender" Xingyao muttered dejectedly when she realized she was running out of HP. "Sister Pure spring is so strong. I'd have to train harder to surpass you" she lamented.

"Just admit it. You can't defeat her either" Dark angel snapped from the side.

"Yes. But it won't be so difficult to shut your mouth" Xingyao glared.

"You dare!" Dark angel growled grabbing his staff.

"Stop bickering!" Shadow empress snapped from the side. "We need to make more improvements before the Sword mage returns" she added.

"I wonder how much terrifying he'd be now" Xingyao wondered...

"You guys have made so many improvements while I'm away" Xuanyuan suddenly muttered. "I'm really surprised" he added.

"Master!" they all exclaimed.

"When did you arrive?" Pure spring asked.

"I had been back long enough to witness the end of your duel with Xingyao" Xuanyuan replied.

They were all astonished when they heard that. Even though their attention was on the battle between the ladies, the weakest among them was a still a half step Void realm expert and possessed certain awareness of their environment...
