Day 2

Loki calmed down and remained silent, waiting for me to explain. I told her that she should come home with me, and she agreed. On our way, I suggested we eat at her favorite place since I was sure she hadn't eaten in a while. We entered a place that sells pies because Loki loves apple pie. We ordered one, and the restaurant was empty, which was unusual. It was the first time I had seen it empty. The waiter brought us the pie with a sad expression on his face. We ate the pie, and Loki smiled a little, perhaps remembering the many times we had come to this restaurant and enjoyed their pie.

We headed home, and after greeting each other, Loki asked me not to tell my mother about her parents' death until she left for her own home. I agreed because I sensed her deep sadness over their loss. We entered my room, and I told Loki that what she was about to see had been kept a secret by me for the past two years, and no one else knew about it. She would understand why I needed her when she saw it.

I removed the poster covering the hole and told her to put her finger in it. Loki looked at me in astonishment. "Are you joking?" she asked. I kept a serious expression on my face. "Loki, I'm not joking. Put your finger in and you'll see."

She put her finger in, and the hole absorbed her. As soon as she was transported, I put my finger in and followed her. During our descent, I activated my mana energy, and we landed smoothly. Loki was still in shock. "Sarutobi, what is this place? Why does everything look different?" she asked.

I looked at her triumphantly and told her that this was my world, and it was different from ours. It wouldn't be the same after a year. What I needed from her was to help me save everyone on our planet. The planet itself wasn't as important as the people on it—our friends, our families, everyone. I couldn't achieve this without her.

Loki looked at me seriously and asked, "What's the plan?" Before she could finish her sentence, we were surprised by the arrival of five Mogu approaching us. I didn't know how they noticed us, but we were in danger. If I were alone, I could face or even evade them without a problem, but with Loki, who was still new to this place, it was different. Even if I gave her a mana pill and activated her energy, she wouldn't know how to use it without training.

I told Loki to stay calm, as it seemed we had company. She turned and saw the Mogu coming, and she panicked. I assured her to stay behind me and that they wouldn't hurt us, though I wasn't entirely sure of that.

When they arrived, one of the five stepped forward and started speaking in their language. After using the mana pills for a while, I had begun to understand and speak their language. The Mogu, who seemed to be the leader of the group, told us that we were on their land, and this was considered an invasion of their property. He said we would be taken to the queen, and any resistance would be considered defiance, punishable by death. At that moment, I knew we were in trouble.
