Punishment

"One day, my love, we will be together, from dusk 'till dawn.", he said, tears dripping on his face, his hands covered in her blood.

Slowly she could feel life leaving her body. Every minute was harder to breathe, and her heart was breaking from her lover's tears.

There it was, the divine punishment, the ultimate betrayal, had been done. One angel and one demon fell in love, and the demon corrupted the angel in sins. The only punishment one could suffer from such petulance would be torture for the demon and the downfall for the angel.

The curse has been put on the girl, and for her sins, she will fall, and her wings, cut, so she may never fly back to the light.
