Few minutes earlier.
Du Seuk-Chin drove over to the scene where Yo-Han's car was hijacked with fury burning in his gaze. He walked over to the guards who all had suffered injuries during the resistance. He turned to one of them and asked, "Did you see the criminals face? What direction did he head towards?"
The bodyguard pointed at the direction leading to the suburb. "No, he had a mask on and he drove in that direction."
Seuk-Chin glanced over. Without warning he grabbed the bodyguard by the collar and raised his fist in anger. "Why are you still here, why did you not follow?!!! Don't you know what your job is?". The bodyguard was already weak enough not to walk well for a few days and adding Seuk-Chin's fists to his problem will only aggravate his miseries. Scared of the torturous days he would experience ahead, the bodyguard quickly cried out his excuse, "Mr Sung, it was Mr Sung, he sent an order saying we shouldn't proceed after the Big Boss, he said that it wasn't a serious issue? He even said he was on his way."
'It wasn't a serious issue? For goodness sake what does that even mean?'. Seuk-Chin swept his gaze around, over at the remaining bodyguards and snapped angrily at them. "What is your greatest priority? Isn't it to never get your eyes off the CEO?, Is that too difficult for you all to do? And what's this about the order?, That order is unauthorized and is not acknowledged. It wasn't a serious issue and you all got beating up to lumps? I don't get why Ron withheld the elite squad and instead, sent you rookies to protect the Boss." Seuk-Chin pushed the fellow away from obstructing his way and walked back to his car. He immediately spoke into the walkie-talkie, giving orders to a unit. "Destination confirmed to be the suburbs. Keep an eye out for any suspicious move. "
"Roger that" The men on the other side replied. Seuk-Chin immediately ignited his car and sped away in the direction leading to the suburbs.
The car drove for about a mile until he got to a bridge where at the other side, a car was parked senselessly in a way that it's blocking the exit. There was a man who stood beside the car, staring down at the flowing river. He was dressed in a black jacket and he had a gun in his hand. From afar Seuk-Chin couldn't recognize the man and he thought he must be an acquaintance of the assassin, or even the wanted assassin himself. With this thought in mind, Seuk-Chin stepped on the gas, approaching the car like a mad dog let loose. He wanted to ram the car but then he realized it was a Min Corporation official car, just like the one he is riding in. He slowed down and checked out the man standing next to the car only to realize it's Sung Na-Gil. He stopped the car, got off and walked over to Na-Gil.
With each quick step he took that rhymed with the gushing sounds of the water flowing beneath the bridge, he couldn't stop wondering why, ' why would Sung Na-Gil prevent Yo-Han's rescue? Or is he by any means betraying someone that saved his ass and gave him this sort of life? Seriously why will he want to aid a criminal? Is he in his right mind?,Is this some kind of rebellion? Huh, I definitely can't allow that!'
"Na-Gil what are you doing, I need you to get off the road, I have to do my job." Seuk-Chin said without a greeting. He didn't seem to be ready for a joke at this moment and he clearly showed it but Na-Gil only laughed it off. " Hey, What's the rush? Come on don't be so serious with me, I like the view of the river from here and I wouldn't like if you disturb my peaceful observation period... Feel free to join me." Na-Gil replied and continued staring at the water.
"Na-Gil let me put it this way, I have to save someone, what's the deal with you, You are fully aware that the boss is in danger and you are calmly watching the river flow?, Get out of my way now." Seuk-Chin howled but he only worsened the case.
*Bang Bang*, Na-Gil released two bullets in the air. He turned to Seuk-Chin and replied with the same angry pitch, "I know, yes I know but why should I care? Let him die... For the first time, I actually feel hatred towards that man. He not only stole what I always wanted, actually it's who, but the point is, not only did he, he also killed her. Guk Yeo-Na is in the hospital right now and it's not likely that she will make it. It's all because of him. I don't know what he is thinking, he must have foresee this and decide to replace Dan-Bi's life with Yeo-Na's. Yes, Dan-Bi should be in that hospital right now but he substituted her for Yeo-Na. Lucky bitch didn't know he was looking out for her all along. He became this heartless all because of her. Yes isn't it heartless to replace someone with someone else knowing that the someone else in question is dear to a brother?. I couldn't understand his ploys until this happened. So it's only natural that I want him dead. Don't try to save him or I will have no choice but to gun you down if you do."Na-Gil pointed the gun at Seuk-Chin, waiting for the fellows decision.
Du Seuk-Chin smirked at Na-Gil and giggled mockingly, " Do you think I am afraid of a gun? Me of all people?, I was five when I first wielded a gun. At fifteen, I already went on 7 assassinations. By the time I was 18, I wasn't an ordinary assassin anymore, I was the best and I could have remained in that world but one faithful day, I was just 21 then when Wang Dae-Woong told me that I was needed to protect someone. He then brought me from Country C to this place. Yeah, you all think I was working under CEO Won Tae-Soo but I wasn't. Wang Dae-Woong didn't want the big boss to feel he was doing too much for him so he didn't introduce me directly, for that reason I passed through CEO Won." Seuk-Chin rolled up the sleeves of his shirt and suit to reveal a tattoo of a Dragon curled in a circle and breathing fire. He pointed to the tattoo and said, "The Wang mafia is where I belong and once Wang Dae-Woong is finally dead, Park Yo-han becomes the new Wang head. I am obligated to put down my life for him, not just because he is my current boss but because he is the successor of the Wang throne. You of all people know the influence the Wang Clan has in all of Asia's underworld don't you?, The Wang mafia is not some Mafia of yesterday, they have been around for more than a century and they hold great power though they are not the most powerful. Once Yo-han takes over, all that power will be his, but for now, Wang Dae-Woong is being careful about the whole clan and only passing the power over bit by bit since it's against the rules for the successor to take over before the death of the present ruler. In short, Yo-han is not someone that can be allowed to die because you wish so." He glanced at the gun in Na-Gil's hand and said, " You already fired two bullets, you only have a few more bullets, I advice that you don't miss your target because anywhere aside my head and my chest wouldn't make me stop. I will make sure to save my Lord. Deal with that." With that Du Seuk-Chin walked to the driver side of Na-Gil's car, opened the door and ignited the engine. He reversed the car, steered it in the direction of his destination and sped off leaving Na-Gil unmoving at the spot. Na-Gil wanted to pull the trigger of the gun he pointed at the car but he just couldn't bring himself to do that.
He sighed frustratingly and threw the gun into the flowing river with a scream showing how devastated he was. He fell on his knees and wept bitterly. 'How could I have thought badly about Yo-Han, The attack on Yeo-Na isn't something he planned. It's not his fault. He is also in danger why was I selfish?. How do I face Yo-han after this? I swore my loyalty to him and he gave me this new life, how could I have turned against him because of a woman, how? He'd always being the one giving, why couldn't I just give up on this woman for him, that's all he'd ever tried to take away from me after all this years and I couldn't give it up? Am I that much in love?, Where is Cupid? Why is the bastard doing this, making impossible connections, this is cruel, just too cruel...'
Yes we are blaming Cupid again. But I, Cupid can only sit and watch. Fate gives the instructions and I obey. I also complain about how cruel this is but Fate only says this, "What will be will be. If it was meant to be, it will be, the rough road is only to make the story interesting... It's just that I wouldn't promise that everyone will end up happily ever after. Pfft, That's impossible...". I can take the blame but I really can't alter this anymore, the relationships in the story is already long founded and mistakes have been made by the characters, decisions that shouldn't be made were made and those lead them to this. It's impossible to make a change now and this makes me Frustrated, It Really does, but isn't it only the end that we should look forward to. The past is gone and this moment is going, little or nothing can we do to change it. The blame shouldn't be mine but Fate's. But no one sees it that way...

It wasn't long before the Elite Security Squad found Yo-Han's location and sent an ambulance and some men. Seuk-Chin also arrived in no time but he was a bit late. Yo-han was already taken to the hospital in the ambulance and the only thing Seuk-Chin met was two men dragging the culprit away. Seuk-Chin rushed over to them and pulled one of them by the wrist to stopped them. "Hello guys, are you the police?"
"No we aren't... And who are you by the way?" One of them asked. Seuk-Chin smiled before introducing himself in a friendly way. "Ha, yeah the victim is my business, I am meant to be his personal bodyguard but I was sent off on a task like always" he couldn't say that without scratching his head awkwardly. Only now did he really think of the fact that Yo-han always gave him tasks to do meanwhile he was meant to be by the fellows side every time guarding and protecting him. It's embarrassing but what should he do about it? He had failed in his tasks but what's done his done he could only pray for a chance to make amends in the future. He shook away the thought and continued talking to the men "... I see you caught the culprit so where are you taking him to?, I would like it if you can hand him over to my squad and I."
The men hissed at him and said. " This is our catch, if you need him, you can trade him for whatever, that's up to our boss to decide, she went with your boss to the hospital, if you wish to talk about this you need to talk to her soon, because once we take this criminal to the bigger boss, you might have trouble making such a deal." With that they turned around and escorted the criminal to a van waiting for them. Seuk-Chin watched as the van sped away with the two men following behind on their bikes.
As if the cloud blocking Seuk-Chin's memories had disappeared and he could think straight, it hit him that he seem to recognize the man, the culprit. He opened his mouth out of wonder?, "Ong Chin-Hae?, He's the hyped Blazing Death? Ha... Uh, this is unbelievable. I so need to question him."
He returned to the car and made a call through to the security team. "Where did you take the boss to?... Mari Hospital okay, that's a good choice... Those men that rescued the boss, what's there identity?"
"We don't really know but from what I saw, their helmets has the tiger head symbol which is the emblem of the Kim family, I don't know why but it seems KimJin interfered in this issue." The man on the other end replied.
"I get that. Put me across to your Commander Ron... I need to have a few words with him." Seuk-Chin put the car in motion and headed to the hospital, having the rest of the conversation on the way.
He had questions, not out of curiosity but for the sake of Yo-Han's safety, he needed for some answers to be provided. Both Ron and Na-Gil, why they had to turn against Yo-han this time, he needed to know.
