41 The Mandarin
As I was cradling Illyana who had started to calm down, I heard a man speaking aloud behind me. Using my En I got to see his intimidating figure.
The man was six foot tall, dressed in an all black business suit. The man had ten rings, one on each finger and they each glowed with different colours. His face was very angular and masculine with black stubble growing from his chin. I could tell he was Asian as I looked at him, the way he spoke and the little details on the suit with Chinese characters sowed into it revealing as such.
"Are you the one who caused this clusterfuck?"
Tony yelled out in a questioning tone as I slowly began to lower Illyana onto the ground. Pepper lowered the face plate of her suit in response to the man's words. Illyana was finally starting to get out of her emotion rut as the man's voice emanated outwards again.
"Naturally, as I had just admitted to before... It's a curious thing, meeting the person who has been the singular most frustrating issue in your life. I digress, let us start shall we?"
He was previously staring at the sky until he finished his declaration and turned to look straight at Tony and the rest of us. His eyes glowed purple for a second as I began to feel psychic energy permeating the surroundings and trying to piercing into our minds.

I hurriedly cast my psychic greater spell and started to dispel the psychic energy of the man in front of us. I felt draining as the energy continued to pour out of one of his rings.

My MP drained by 8,000 points as I resisted the man's power. A small grin emerged on his face as he noticed the deflection of his ability. Tony started to fire off repulsor blasts, soon followed by Pepper. The blasts froze mid-air before being redirected back towards both of them. I instantly travelled behind him as I concentrated my Nen into my fist and thrust it into his lower back. I felt a large impact and force leave my hand, the suit of the man tearing with the shredding for of my Nen. The man didn't even move as he dropped low and did a leg sweep followed quickly by a heel kick directed towards my head. I teleported again, this time to his side where I jumped up and began trying to throw punches and kicks. They were all rather disappointing as i lacked the skill to actually fight in hand to hand. I got kicked in the stomach as repulsor blast after repulsor blast bounced away from his back.
'This guy is seriously powerful!'
'I have to get serious.'
I started to will the holy light from earlier out and focused on my Aetherial Ascendance innate. A bright white light started to emit from me as my wings unfurled from my back, massive and intimidating. The light spilled out from my wings and basked my whole body in its haze. I felt the light spreading into me as my Nen increased ten fold and my mana seemed to be more pure.

The sounds of angels singing started to reverberate into the surroundings as if singing angels from heaven had been brought down to earth for a moment. The man opposite of me frowned as one of his rings flared.
I started to feel the space around me flux into solidity, the air itself halting my movements. Frowning, my reality bending abilities started to thrum in power as I turned the solid air back into its gaseous state and stepped out from the 'cage' of air.
The man widened his eyes in surprise as he followed through in doing the same to Tony and Pepper he fell to the ground surrounded by a cage of air.
"Interesting, very interesting! I may have to study you, angel?"
Confusion momentarily coloured his expression until another ring flared and the gravity around me started to increase, attempting to drag me down to the ground. With my strength I simply ignored it and continued to walk towards him.

I waved my hands in front of me as numerous magical circles began to proliferate my hands. Green beams of energy bloomed in my hands before soaring towards the man, a shield appearing in front of him before they even reached their destination. The ichorous green beams of eldritch-like energy pummelled the energy shield only to pass right through it and land on the man's hand after he attempted to dodge.
An unholy scream of pain radiated from the man's throat as the beam entangled with one of his hands, several fingers being torn off of his body, the rings falling with them.
"AHHH, you BITCH!"
He thrust one of his hands out in my direction as a ray of pure black blasted in my direction ,the very air crumbling and fading to dust as it travelled along its path. I flapped my wings thrusting myself into the air with reckless abandon as the ray of pitch black slammed into one one of the nearby formula one cars and turned it to dust with arcs of black lightning.
'Disintegration beams!? Really?'
At this point Tony and Pepper had finally found a way out of the 'cages' and started to fire at the man again. Anger painted his face as blood gushed out of the places where some of his fingers used to be. Picking up his fingers he quickly connected them and froze the unjoined section between the two parts, affectively reconnecting them.
"You'll regret that you wretched bird."
One of the rings glowed once again as fire started to swell from his left index finger as it quickly gained momentum and was thrust in my direction.

I struck back with an arctic level of ice and snow. As both of our elements met superheated vapour started to envelop the area almost covering everyone. With unknown worry and anxiety I used untapped amount of alacrity to deploy a strong wind pushing against the omnidirectional wave of superheated vapour, pushing it in the direction of the man.
The field of superheated vapour passed the man, my hopes pinned on the fact that he couldn't block the vapours. My hope was destroyed in the next second as a bright blue shield emerged from out of the vapour cloud, the man seemingly levitating without any technological assistance.
'Fuck!'

This was when I saw a car being flipped through the air in the direction of the man, Tony and Pepper working together behind me to grab cars together and fling them at the unusually powerful man.
The cars did very little to actually hurt the man as his shield simply shredded them in two as they got too close however it provided me with a moment to summon my Ultimate Dark Arts power again. This time purely red arrows of magic flew out from the magic circles as they shot out dodging any debris in their way. Dodging side to side they got ever closer to the man as I started to fly around to the side of the man, attempting to side swipe him in his attempt to dodge.
My gambit failed however when the 'arrows' of energy froze and were sent back towards Tony, Pepper and Illyana. 'Damn it!'
I instantly teleported in front of the 'arrows' and used my dimensional portal summoning to suck them away to another place. However, in that split moment I was attacked by the man who shot out another black ray from his hands.
Summoning up a larger portal to my left, where it was approaching I saw massive spiralling whirls of chaos and entropy from within the portal. The feeling of just looking at it made me want to puke from revulsion. The black ray was tricky however as it dodged the portal and wrapped around to my other side.
'Shit, no way to dodge this, have to close the portal and that'll take a little bit. No choice, do it!'
{ASTRA DOMINA- ETHEREAL RESILIENCE}
A dome of pure yin and yang energy billowed from my body in the direction of the black ray. The energy gathered in a black and white vortex, as if pulling the black ray into it's embrace. When the ray finally met the vortex of counteracting forces it was completely rendered inert and torn from reality, akin to a small fishing vessel being consumed by a monster wave, the danger dispersed.
It was at this moment that from the portal a loud fleshy moaning noise resounded. The noise becoming a blight upon the ears as, looking into it you could see giant blubbery mounds of flesh dragging themselves towards the open portal. They had large antlers and seemed as if they were the example of death, slow agonizingly painful death. Skin covered in pustules and blisters as it was dyed a white-green, as if pestilence embodied.
'NOPE! Big NOPE! Not that dimension, from that universe!'
I quickly started closing the portal as the fleshy arm of one of these beings escaped the entrance of the portal. Within seconds half of the torso was out, at least that was the case before repulsor beams started to push it back in followed by fire from the man. After a few seconds of concentrated firepower the portal shut completely.
It was at this moment that i heard my sis.

'Wtf!?'
My thoughts distracted me as I very quickly heard the sound of Tony shooting repulsor blasts at the man we were fighting before. The man however, was running away a doorway beginning to form behind him as sweat dripped down his face as he stared at me. His shield blocking all of the repulsor blasts.
Without any words or speaking he soon finished his doorway and began to open it. Me in a last vain attempt shot ice towards his back as he opened the door. The ice phased right through him as the door became translucent alongside the man and they both disappeared into thin air.
'Fuck...'
[Indeed... Fuck...]
