The Ancestors and the Wraith

"Y-you don't know them?"

"Maybe you mean the Ancestors?"

'Hold on, wasn't it the same in the show, they don't call them the Ancients like Earth does.'

"That is most likely them. I came looking for some of their structures so that i could study them and perhaps use them for their intended purpose."

The group of guards and Teyla looked at me strangely. Their faces were screaming mistrust and caution, especially the old man.

"Look, i don't intend to hurt anyone or anything, i need it to fight the Wraith."

My comment drew quite a few eyebrows upwards, Teyla was among those that this happened to, it seemed to be a trait of the whole tribe. I was barely holding onto my twitch in my left eye as i felt some small amount of annoyance at their actions.

'Calm down Emelia, it is only a bodily tick, they can't help it...'

"Mhh, o-okay, you need it to fight the wraith... And how do you intend to do so by yourself and with just those weird sticks on your legs?" This came from Teyla, her voice straining to hold back her not so small amount of derision.

"I own Atlantis..."

"The city of the ancestors?"

"The ancestors city, really?"

"Does she take us for a joke!?"

Several people voiced their belief and disbelief on my words whilst Teyla's eyes had widened, the guards stances becoming more read to spring into action. The old man from before had grabbed a single shoulder of Teyla and had started to yank her backwards.

"You lie! The city was destroyed long ago, the texts spoke of it!"

"Ah, so there are texts... Good, now please calm down so i can properly converse with you and continue our dialogue." None of them followed my words, in fact, one of the more pissed off guards tried to stab at me, Teyla yelling in order to stop him but failing.

The spear lunged forwards towards my head, its point gleaming in blue light as the sun light struck off of the refractive surface of the metal.

'... Tribes people are really silly sometimes...'

I activated my Jigenkan, my eyes' Tomoes spinning wildly in circles as i easily dragged the man into a Genjutsu, his spear dropping the next second as he curled up on the ground crying for his mother. Everyone was astounded by my power, especially when i moved my line of sight over them, my Jigenkan spinning rapidly still as i kept the man under Genjutsu.

"He attacked me first, if you continue i shall do the same to all of you and take what i want..." Everyone was shivering as they didn't even move, children were hugged against their mothers' legs and fathers stood in front of their families to protect them.

"W-we apologize, we do not know what powers you have used but please release the man... We had recently suffered at the hands of someone who was also looking for the Ancestor's building, that is why he overreacted!"

I nodded in understanding as i looked back to the mess of a man, my eyes slowing down somewhat. Finally after several tense seconds for everyone else the man blinked his tear laden eyes and stretched out of his curled position. He looked up at me after that a deep tremor running through his body as in the next second and kneeled.

"Please spare me miss! I didn't mean to offend you!" A smile graced my lips as i saw his reformed manners.

"Good, please don't attack someone who has only spoken, they may not be as nice as i have been." He nodded exceedingly quickly, Teyla looking on in deep consternation.

"Were you speaking the truth?"

"Yes... I have taken over the 'Ancestor's' city."

Murmurs spread throughout the village as the crackling of wood accented the stark quietness that followed as Teyla held her right hand up, ordering for silence.

"I will show you where the Ancestors have been, we must hurry as it is getting close to night here and many dangerous creatures stalk the woods." There was a bit of a hubbub as she agreed to my earlier request but it was quickly blown over when i offered some food from my pack for people to eat, especially the candies i gave to a large group of children before going.

An hour or two later we had reached the location. It was a large building carved into the side of a cliff face with distinctive Ancient writing all over it. The building looked to be damaged somewhat from erosion but for the most part was structurally sound. I went in first, Teyla following behind me. As i entered i read several Ancient text that broke the building down into segments and parts that i could easily find what I was looking for.

After an additional ten minutes of searching and exploring I finally found the main control room, finding an empty ZPM bank. Teyla looked intrigued by what i would do, she had seen this place many times and even been brought here by her parents but she could find nothing out about this place.

"What are you doing?"

"I am going to power the mine."

"Mine? As in mining ore?"

"Yes, except this is automated..."

I took out a bright orange ZPM that glowed in the almost pitch black space that was only illuminated by sparse fire light from the hand-held torch of Teyla. I grasped it with both hands and as Teyla watched i carefully placed the tips of the crystal onto the middle point of the dais. Next thing i knew the ZPM was sinking into the facility and the lights all flickered on, a loud crunching noise emitting from the earth below.

"There we go, now i just need to do something really quickly."

Teyla looked unsettled as she watched the whole entire ruins light up and activate, when she never expected my story to amount to anything. She followed my movements with her eyes despite her consciousness being completely focused on the momentous opportunity my appearance gave to her people.

I ignored her for the moment as I quickly began to covertly use my runes and imbue them into the subspace communication system of the facility. I connected Pixel to this facility and made it so that it was able to covertly do so without affecting the inhabitants of the planet. I also added the holographic projection feature to this mine so that the inhabitants can get help in extreme circumstances. I even added a function in the programming where the Stargate could be controlled remotely, through Pixel.

When i finished I moved onto the storage facility of the mine. Teyla followed me in interest and despite not understanding what this was all for, treated it with seriousness. I got to the storage room and quickly found thousands of tonnes of the materials we needed, ready to go. I jumped up and down in excitement as Teyla looked at me in confusion.

"What are you excited about?"

"This! All of this! This is exactly what i need to rearm all of Atlantis!" I got a bit carried away and created runes in front of her which then trailed into the automated dumping zone for the ore, making it spatially connect to Atlantis. I of course made it so that living people couldn't enter and it would be as if they were being drowned, of course they wouldn't die but couldn't enter the room without the proper runic identification.

"Is Atlantis a person shaped city?"

"Umm, no... Arms as in munitions... Weapons, that is what i am talking about."

She nodded in mild confusion as she tried to understand the full meaning of my words.

'I really need to give these people education, maybe some books translated into their language?'

"Pixel, could you come here for a second?"

"Yes mistress, you called?"

Teyla was instantly on guard and had the torch in front of her aimed at Pixel. Her tensions didn't lessen when Pixel smiled at her. Failing in the attempt to calm the woman down Pixel slightly pouted before turning back to me.

"Can you create some basic educational books for a tribe, translate it into crude ancient and then create a cypher for them to read from... I wish them to be a little more educated than they are now."

"It is certainly doable mistress, only resource it will take is time and a minute amount of that ore over there to make tablets for them to read off of."

"Do it, work with Teyla to spread these books to her people..."

As i was speaking that is when i heard the malice-filled scream of a Wraith dart fighter. Teyla immediately became frightened and started running back through the facility. Pixel became serious as she also heard the engines from the recording runes i had placed in conjunction to the projection runes.

"Be careful mistress, they will not be gentle on you if you are captured. I advise fleeing."

"Thank you for the advice, if i have to, I'll take the people back to Atlantis with me..."

"Yes mistress, good luck!"

I nodded before using my immense speed to catch up to Teyla in an instant. I grabbed her and before she could argue i ported us back to the village, which was currently being flown over by the dart fighters, yoinking people from the surface and saving their matter patterns in their hard drives for later molecular reconstruction, so that they may feast upon their life force.

"Fucking Wraith..."
