Awkward Dinner, Bringing Jean back

The scraping of plates continued for a little while as the various entities looked between each other. I couldn't stand it any more as Infinity was looking at death with a hint of amusement on her face.

"Ahum, maybe some of us wish to speak with sound waves instead of telepathy?"

All of them simultaneously turned to look at me. All of them then started laughing in various ways, except Oblivion who was purely brooding at the edge of the table, he had been slowly inching backwards away from the table over the several minutes.

"Emelia, i apologise for the lack of manners however we were discussing our jobs, which of course can't be revealed to the Multiverses' inhabitants." This came from Infinity who looked truly apologetic, her lips slightly drooping into a faint grimace, as she basically degraded our existences and intelligence.

"I see, well if were interrupting, i suppose I'll see you all some other time." I took Jean by the hand and began to apparate. I was halted before it finished as space seemed to halt and disobey the commands of my spell. I turned back towards Infinity, frustration and slight anger bubbling in my heart.

"Is there anything else you wish from me or Jean, it seemed we were unimportant to you...?" Infinity looked truly saddened by my attitude whilst Death seemed to eye me up and down before licking her lips; she looked like a natural predator as she did it. All of the others were completely neutral to the situation, showing almost no flicker in emotion, except Oblivion who scoffed at what he imagined to be the stupidity of everything around him. 

"We do not have anything majorly important to speak on, I would like to speak to you more though. I think Death may also be interested..." She looked towards death who was currently a spectacularly beautiful woman dressed in an Onyx black dress with specks of ash grey mixing with it. She was leaning forward and staring me down. Infinity turned back to me and strained a smile.

"I have a question to ask..." The Tribunal's voice echoed around the world as I was getting ready by circulating my mana, which i promptly ceased when he spoke up.

"Go ahead and ask, i believe you have all heard my reasons when I spoke to the Phoenix." I nodded towards the Phoenix who nodded back at me with some recognition in her bird eyes.

"That, is not what i wish to ask." Another different voice said, i was a bit weirded out as i had never heard of this character in Marvel.

Yet another voice projected outwards again along the planet's surface. "I would inquire as to the nature of the substance that seeped through the spatial crack..."

I frowned slightly at his question as my thoughts churned in response to it.

'I could tell him, no, that is stupid, that would be giving them the Idea that i am easy to manipulate or coax information out of. Plus, if i did reveal it then they would ask all sorts of question sand i could possibly be collected by something or someone for experimentation.'

I pulled on my Title: Actor, as much as possible, as I responded.

"I have no real idea what that was made out of or what it contained, all i know was that it felt dangerous."

"Mmm." His face, which was covered by a large hood became somewhat calculating as he calmly looked at me from head to toe. I was thankful for the Title i had gained with Idun as it now helped me immensely.

[Good, not lying just omitting certain facts.]

"Very well... I have nothing else to ask as i have gotten the answers to everything that i had wanted to know." Infinity now looked around the table, no one piped up but sustained their gazes at me. Phoenix was the only one to make a slight movement but stopped herself seconds later.

"It seems as if you can go... I will contact you soon, maybe a year, two? You'll know when i try." I nodded at her, flashing a small smile towards her before turning back to Jean, who was massively unnerved by the monumentally pressuring stares of some of the most powerful beings in Marvel. I grasped her hand and squeeze very, VERY, delicately, enough just to give her a feeling of pressure. My hand seemed to calm her down as she placidly looked at me before moving into a hug with me. I teleported.

(Infinity's Perspective)

My life had been boring for, well, for forever. There were a few sparks of light amongst the darkness that was this multiverse. People who had a twinge of what i was seeking in someone, but like everything, they faded to dust due to Death or Oblivion. Boredom, that is what could ascribe my existence. Well, that was the case until i saw her... 

She was a being that was perplexing, attractive but ultimately unique. I had never seen anyone like her, heard of anything like the 'Nephilim' she described as her species or the feats she had achieved despite not being a deity. Before i would have said that it was pure madness to assume a mortal could compare in power to the power of Gods or Celestials, let alone what she had achieved against the representation of all Life Force in the Multiverse, The Phoenix Force. I was instantly hooked and intrigued by her very being.

How could i resist that level of mystery, how could I, anyone would act as i did if they had experienced the infinity of existence. 

'Haaah, I'd like to know her better...'

I appeared at the same place i had left earlier, Jean hugging me as she lightly cried into my overcoat. I looked around the room. Xavier, Illyana and half of the X-men were assembled in the room as i appeared, Slipstream slowly trying to sense the spatial tears of my magic.

He had his eyes closed and felt a massive spike, i could tell this because his eyes shot open and he flicked his vision in our direction.

"Professor, she's here!"

Everyone turned back towards where we were standing. Illyana looked especially worried as she walked about rather calmly and joined the hug, slowly beginning to comfort Jean who had continued to cry.

Everyone looked at me with some level of hostility, except Piotr and Illyana who knew something must have happened. Scott looked extremely worried over his sister-like figure. Logan was livid because he had a crush on her despite her sexual preferences. Storm was glaring at me, as if it was all my fault, which i suppose it was. Xavier was the only one who gazed at both of us with concern, especially when I felt his emotions and found out that he was able to get the top layer of my thoughts.

Jean slowly went closer to Illyana as her tears somewhat cleared up and she looked at me. I was looking down at both Jean and Illyana but was still caught off guard when Jean went onto her tippy-toes and gave me a kiss. Murmurs and exclamations sprouted from the mouths of the X-men as Logan turned around and in a massive huff, stormed off. Xavier just ignored the spectacle and stayed in place until we finished. The rest of the X-men were saying various things from: "Wow, two at the same time...", to, "Lucky", that came from Rogue which made me concerned as she was only 17 right now.

"Thank you Emelia for getting rid of that thing within me." Xavier's eyes widened and panic entered his expression as he started scooting forward. Illyana looked at me with a prideful grin as she hugged Jean harder.

"Of course she did! She is my wife of course!" More murmurs... That is all that needed to be said. Piotr had a cocky and confident smile on his steel exterior, he was the only one I kind of cared about as he was Illyana's brother.

"You just said that she removed the being inside of you... Is that true?"

"Yes she did! It was called the Phoenix Force and it was one of the most powerful being in the universe! She fought it to a stand still and convinced it of our innocence in its capture and imprisonment in me."

"Huh?"
