The plan was quite straightforward, Liu Guanyi had told Xin to return to the warp gate which they had come from to set up the lighthouses to teleport into.

This would be their escape plan if everything went south, and if the God of Guardians couldn't be reasoned with and attacked them on sight.

They also laid many obstacles using the fishing line from their reel inventory.

Even though the God of Guardians seemed extremely powerful, as long as the fishing lines were reinforced with their shinsu, they should be able to delay him for at least a second.

A second or maybe even less than a second might seem nothing. However, even a split-second would still be helpful to make their escape plan smoother. After all, in battle, even a split second would be crucial to decide the result.

After finishing setting up those things, they prepared their formation.

Liu Guanyi was in the front, he would be the one to approach the God of Guardians. Adori was in the middle, she would come to help quickly if the guardian became aggressive, and as the weakest, Xin was in the back, supporting with ranged attacks to disturb the guardian and help them escape quickly.

Since that was the best plan they could do with their limited resources, they quickly executed it with resolution.

Liu Guanyi walked forward slowly as he approached the God of Guardians.

When he was around a dozen meters away, the guardian stirred and he woke up from his peaceful slumber as he felt the intrusion of a creature in his territory, something that no other Hell Train's guardians would do in his presence.

As the God of Guardians slowly lifted his previously hunched upper body, his appearance could be seen clearly.

He had a decently long blond hair, a pair of blond eyes, and an immensely muscular body. He wore a sleeveless black tunic with a long red cape tied to it. On his arms, there were iron chains that were connected to the gigantic cone-like platform.

The guardian's blond eyes were fixated on the mini human that encroached his territory. "What do you want, little human?" He said with a deep voice that reverberated in the whole hall.

Seeing that the guardian seemed to be quite reasonable, Liu Guanyi put on his best friendly smile and spoke politely. "Hello, God of Guardians, do you mind answering some simple questions of mine?"

"Hmm, some questions?" The Guardian spoke what on his mind loudly.

The God of Guardians was about to say something but stopped as his gaze suddenly became much more intense on Liu Guanyi. "You!"

Feeling the intense gaze of the gigantic guardian, Liu Guanyi thought that things would go south and retreated back quickly.

His quick decision turned right as the guardian suddenly leaped very quickly for someone of his size and landed near what was his previous position a second ago, shaking the entire hall under his massive weight.

The guardian finally displayed its true size as it stood more than eighty feet, even taller and bigger than Bloomer. "Are… you… the one who opens the gate by themselves to come into the tower?" He spoke slowly as if his brain still working in a low computing power after a long slumber.

"Hmm, how did you know?" Liu Guanyi said softly as he was quite surprised.

How come the God of Guardians knew that he was an irregular, was the legend true and he was indeed related to the ten great families' leaders?

"I can feel it from the shinsu, I know that you are one of them. How long has it been? Hundreds of years ago, no, maybe it has been a few millenniums since that time." The guardian's eyes turned glazed as he reminisced the last time, he had met those who opened the gate of the tower.

"What do you mean by a few millenniums, God of Guardians?" Said Liu Guanyi with a hint of curiosity.

The guardian didn't answer him, instead, he leaned his body and stretched his arm forward, and flicked his finger to Liu Guanyi, throwing him back a few meters away.

Seeing this, Adori was about to assist him only for Liu Guanyi motioned her to stop as he did a back-flip and recovered quickly.

The attack was powerful, but not powerful enough to even scratch him. However, considering that the Guardian only flicked his finger, this was pretty worrying, he was even more powerful than what they had expected.

However, this was also gladdening as the guardian had held back himself. It seemed that he only wanted to test him.

Liu Guanyi stared at the God of Guardians calmly as he looked at him straight in the face. Looking from a very close range, the guardian looked really humongous. In comparison, even his relatively tall body which stood at more than six feet was smaller than even the guardians' eyes.

The God of Guardians outstretched his hand and opened it. "Come, leap on, I will take you to the rice pot. Let's see your true fate, the one who opened the gate by yourself."

Seeing this development, three of them were quite surprised, especially Adori and Xin. They didn't expect that the God of Guardians suddenly become friendly after what they thought was a battle that was about to unfold after his attack.

Of course, Liu Guanyi figured out from the guardians' words that it was related to his identity as an irregular.

It seemed that the legend was right.

It looked like that the God of Guardians was the one who held the secret of the Hell Train.

No… maybe he was the secret itself. After all, he only seemed to be amicable after he knew that Liu Guanyi was an irregular.

However, none of these was important at the moment. What was important was to see what the Guardian had to tell him.

"Wait, let me tell my teammates, first." Answered Liu Guanyi.

The guardian nodded, he didn't mind that. Liu Guanyi turned to face Adori and Xin at the distance. "Well, princess Adori, Xin, it seems that the God of Guardians is pretty reasonable. I will go with him and hear what he wants to say. Don't worry I'll be back later and explain everything."

Adori and Xin certainly heard what the guardian said previously, they wanted to ask him many questions but they certainly could wait for some time more.

Adori nodded and stared at his face as she spoke with a serious voice. "Alright, make sure you explain everything properly, afterward."

"Don't worry, I will." Said Liu Guanyi with a smile.

Liu Guanyi turned back to the guardian and nodded, then jumped on his hand.

The God of Guardians didn't say anything as he quickly stood up, and then jumped up back to the massive cone-like platform, and into the hole in the middle of it.
