Taking my hand, Flynn confidently weaved through passengers in the airport terminal building behind Lee, and for the first time, I realized exactly just who I was with. Flynn had risked so much to be there, but more importantly, I didn't want my brothers' homecoming to be turned into a spectacle. Just as that thought entered my mind, he was recognized by a group of girls. They had just finished at the check-in desk and were running toward us. It was apparent, for them, seeing Flynn being there had made their day.
"Please ladies, not today. I'm here on very personal business," he pleaded with gravity in his tone that asked them not to intrude.
"Who's the bitch?" One of them shouted.
Lee held them back, and Flynn waved over security. "I have a situation here." That made me smile, despite the circumstances because Flynn appeared to like that word.
