Tunnel Vision

Tearia had just awoken a couple of minutes ago and began preparing for her day. Today was her break throughout the week but instead of doing her usual shopping or reading she was going to go back to Belturn's Astral Zone Selturn for the day. It wasn't like she was feeling like fighting or more training she just had a hunch that she might meet the boy she had met a couple of days before if she went. Yesterday she had the same hopes going as well but she ended up never seeing him once near the beginning of the forest area. "He looked like a fighter.." Her main assumption that he was even going to be there was the fact that he had almost reacted to her speed in time even while being weaker when she ran into him.

"Well maybe today."

She wouldn't give up without trying some more but if it still failed then she could just hire people to search for her as well and if that didn't work then she was at a loss at what to do. But just in case she did see him she made sure she was looking her best as she looked at herself in the mirror and tied her ponytail as she got ready to leave. Walking out the door she approached the front entrance and greeted her grandfather there but didn't see her grandmother anywhere so there was nothing she could do. Seeing Tearia showed up he smiled as she approached him.

"Going somewhere again today?"

"Yep back to the Astral Zone."

Giving a nod of approval he was happy she was taking the extra effort in her training even if a part of him she wasn't doing it for the purpose but he just let it go and was happy with what he got.

"Remember to be careful, Well you may have improved recently you're still considerably weaker then a lot of the Astral Beasts there."

"Yes, grandpa."

Used to hearing the same thing every time she left for the zone she felt her ears bleeding at the sound of his reminders but she didn't hate it completely. Bidding farewell she turned around and headed for the door and walked out into the mostly empty streets that were the same everyday. Only to spot two figures slightly ahead of her and one silhouette she had seen in her dreams countless times and couldn't forget.

"It's him!"

She finally found him and she hadn't even got to the Astral Zone yet. "Lucky." quickly running up behind him she shouted a little bit behind them to get his attention. But she still didn't know his name. All she could do was call out to him in her own way.

"Hey handsome."

Hearing her voice they stopped and turned around as she slowly caught up with them and appeared beside him. Taken aback at seeing the girl from a couple of days ago so soon Xilo tried to think of a way out of the situation he was in. He really didn't want to see her so soon again. "How Unlucky can a man get." Seeing her blooming smile he resigned himself to whatever came of the situation. Xelfia though strangely enough didn't feel that same sense of anger she felt towards the girl at the end of their meeting last time instead she was pretty calm as she saw her approach.

"Hey, hey you heard me right?"

Seeing as she still didn't get a response even though she was beside him she was a little confused by his reaction. "Why isn't he responding?" A couple seconds later she finally got the response she wasn't quite looking for.

"Who are you?"

Xilo attempted to play dumb in hopes it'd work but unfortunately Tearia wasn't as stupid as he hoped, at least the stupid he wanted. Hearing him reply to her she was confused for a second until she finally figured out what he probably wanted. "Ahh so silly.." Clapping her hands together happily she introduced herself.

"That's right you don't know my name do you? Silly me, Hi I'm Tearia. what's your name?"

Taken aback by her sudden self introduction Xilo stayed silent for a second until he finally slowly introduced him and Xelfia.

"I'm Xilo. That's Xelfia."

With that he turned and started walking again hoping she would leave them alone. But he was too naive. Seeing them turn to walk she kept pace with them and followed along.

"Oh, Xilo eh? Nice name."

From start to finish she still ignored Xelfia like she wasn't even there and in Tearia's eyes that was the truth. She was tunnel visioned on Xilo the whole time.

"So where are you going? Mind If I come with?"

Firing questions left and right she didn't let Xilo escape from his situation.

"Belturn's Astral Zone and no you can't come along. Isn't that obvious."

"Hmm Why not?"

"Because I'm going to train there you'd just be a distraction. So go home."

"Oh I see."

With that silence washed over them as Xilo continued walking in the direction of the Astral Zone. But Tearia still kept pace with him and followed along.

"Didn't you hear me?"

"Hmm? What's the problem, that's my destination as well."

With a cheery smile she said those words as she kept on following them. Xilo finally fed up with her, gave up replying and walked in silence with Xelfia beside him. Xilo was a little confused as to why Xelfia still kept her silence the whole time but he left it be thinking it was just her not happy with Tearia coming with them. Truthfully though Xelfia just didn't know how to speak or enter the conversation herself. She had only talked with Xilo the and the only two other times she had ever spoken were because of spur of the moment feelings that forced her out of her shell. Plus she didn't quite know how to apologize for almost breaking the girls arm the other day. Thinking a little bit she finally gained enough courage to speak.

"Hey Xilo isn't it fine if she comes?"

Surprised at hearing her speak all of a sudden Xilo turned to look at her confused at such a reply.

"Haha, just think of it as a little sorry for the other day. That's all."

Still confused at what she meant he finally remembered her little outburst and sighed as he agreed himself as well.

"Fine..."

Enjoy
