"Are your hands alright? You were gripping that sword really tight when it escaped."

"They're fine, don't worry."

Turning over her hands Levia looked at her palms stained in blood and scratches. Taking a bottle of water jacket that she kept on hand she poured overtop of her hands. Washing away the blood she made sure there wasn't anything else as she ripped a piece of her jacket off. Wrapping it around Yanyan's hand she tied it in a small knot. Even if she specialised in regeneration it was best to take care of herself regardless. Regeneration wasn't the end all to every single one of her problems. It was good to teach her that there were other ways to fix things.

"Don't lie when you're this badly injured. This should help you heal a lot faster so just keep it on you for a day or two."

"Mmmmm, fine. What about you though?"

"Yeah, I'll take care of it now. Just give me a moment."

Doing the same thing to her own hands Levia made sure everything was good as she grabbed a hold of Yanyan's hands. "We'll be late if we don't hurry." Levia had thought about bringing her to an orphanage at first since she had lost her parents. It probably would have been the best choice for most kids in the world. "Everything about her isn't normal." She had been looking at places and figured out this City had quite a gathering of mercenaries. "Who would have thought he'd be here." She had heard a few whispers about a retired mercenary that was also in this city.

"If I know him, he'll probably be exactly where he usually is. Drowning himself in a bar trying to get drunk off his ass."

He had a pretty nasty drinking problem and would love to get drunk whenever he had the free time for it. Most people said that was his biggest flaw as well as a few other ones. Besides that he was a well known fighter and someone who had helped her out when she was lost herself. "He should be accepting of her." Thanks to that lucky bit of information she had stumbled across, Yanyan could be left in good hands if he accepted her. "Please say yes." Levia really didn't want to take care of a child if she didn't have to. Even though she had grown quite fond of Yanyan, it just wasn't meant to be.

"Come with me."

Swerving around a few back alleys the smell of smoke and blood reached both their noses as they reached the less desirable part of the City. People were sleeping on the streets here in boxes or on the cold floor without a care for anything going on around in. If you weren't careful you would be easily robbed or killed for everything you own. "Time to go bar hopping." One of the bars here had to have him and she would check all of them. "The loudest one will be where he is." Peeking in Levia checked around three of four different bars before she finally found the right one.

"Whoa."

A person came flying out the doors smashing it into pieces. The man was completely covered in blood and drunk out of his mind. "Starting a scene as always." Rolling her eyes she kicked the man aside as she walked into the place. It had quickly gone from a loud and annoying place cheering on the fight to silence. "There you are." In the middle of it all stood an old man who's grey hair was falling off his head and barely standing. Tipping his body to the side after dealing with that problem he grabbed another drink on the counter and gulped it down in one fell swoop.

"Gaha."

Wiping away his drool, his face slammed against the table while the place slowly went back to normal. Ignoring any of the stares Levia got as she dragged a young girl into this place Levia went straight up the old man. Noticing someone coming right behind him the older man slouched up. Figuring it was someone else coming for revenge he turned around swinging. Met with a fist for a greeting Levia ducked under it instantly and grabbed his arm. "Paranoid as ever." Locking him in a grip she knew how the old man fought and wouldn't let him go. She had just fought someone before and really didn't feel like doing it again.

"Oi, Old man. It's me so you could stop swinging your fist around all over the place."

"Who's...me?"

His voice was slow and full of stutters as he squinted his eyes at the person behind him. His blurry vision came together and focused while noticing he couldn't escape. "Silver hair." Running through his memory of people who he knew with silver hair the old man found an old face. One completely burnt, destroyed beyond repair and the other half still beautiful. "That half demon, angel?" He could see straight through the disguise she tried to wear that hid her scars as his arm went limp. Turning back to his drink he didn't care anymore.

"Who said you could ignore me? I came here to talk to you, you know? Why the heck did you leave retirement and what are you doing here?"

"So loud girly, take a seat would ya? Can we get another drink over here!!?! I'm thirsty."

Hollering at the bartender behind the counter the old man patted his seat.

"I'm in no mood for drinking, Tano."

"And I'm in no mood for being pestered, so if you want to stay take a drink. Otherwise get out of my sight. The choice is your's."

"Bleh."

Sitting down at the counter beside him, Levia raised Yanyan up as well as the three of them sat there waiting for their drinks.

"How long has it been since we met girl?"

"Not long enough, even never seeing you again isn't long enough."

"Still got that sharp mouth, I see."

Enjoy.
