Reaching Out

A boy left all alone in the world after being abandoned by his mother in a poor clan that treated him harshly because he started showing signs of being different from other kids and the people around him. With him being ostracized more and more he became less and less of the cheerful young kid he use to be until eventually turning discreet and mute around others in hopes that they would stop being scared of him. Though that plan never worked out for him and, in the end he was left to strive on his own as best as he could in the environment he was left in. He explored the towns library and any books he could find in his Clan even if they were useless. Years on years of doing such things eventually led him into stumbling across a book that would help push him towards the thing he wanted the most. "The Basic Guide To The Astral Path" This book may not of been special to anyone in the long run but, it was to him because, it was his new beginning. With this new path available to him would he be able to push through all the obstacles and hardships waiting for him or in the end will he stumble and fall? Or will people be there to catch him if he does once again?

Surprises and Secrets.

Feeling emotions that didn't quite feel like hers had always felt weird to Althea. It was almost like she wasn't herself in a way and she had always hated that even if she knew her dreams were always linked to herself and over time eventually she had become numb to it besides a few exceptions. "Why do I have to feel like this." She didn't even get to know why she was feeling upset while also being a little happy as she prepared herself for the day. All she could do was ignore it as she left the room and got ready to find Yilel.

"I need to check on her progress and see if they've found any signs of Xilo yet."

Over the last month her people hadn't found any sign of Xilo in any of the nearby area's close to the Fiery clan. However a boy like that shouldn't have been able to get far. "At least that's what I thought at first." But now it seemed like he had completely disappeared without a trace and exploring other places won't be as easy. "They don't like when we start snooping around their territories." They owned a lot of the Fiery clan and everywhere around them specifically because of Xilo and it being such a weak place but other places wouldn't be nearly as easy to search.

"Which means It's going to take a lot longer than I initially thought to find him, Dammit."

Walking out of her room and down the hall towards Yilel's room that was the only thing she could think of as she occasionally brushed the hair out of her face. "Eventually....Eventually." Repeating that in her head she arrived at Yilel's room and smiled sensing the energy on the other side. "At least her progress has been going better than I thought it would." She took her on a mere whim mostly but it had started to pay off already since she seemed to be full of surprises..

"Though she doesn't talk much, at least she listens."

Not even bothering to knock she opened up her door and walked in to see a girl laying on her bed concentrating.

"You still haven't gotten to the Cosmos Stage I see."

Feeling the energy around her body she could tell the girl was still at the Path Stage and just on the very edge of entering the fifth stage now otherwise known as the Cosmos Stage but that was fine. She already had so many other things going for her that it didn't bother Althea. "Three elements and the Elemental Path with Fire, Earth and light." It was already hard to find someone with three elements even for her Clan but to also have the Elemental Path as well was almost impossible. "To top it all off she also has an extremely rare element as well, Light." When she figured that all out even she almost became envious and then she even gave her a Body Technique.

"I'm essentially nursing another monster at this point." So her progress was bound to be a little slower then usual and she also had to keep all this information hidden. If anyone in her clan found out about her they would go crazy trying to do anything to obtain her. Thankfully with her reputation no one would ever come here without permission not even her own father. "Though that doesn't mean I can keep you safe forever." Getting lost in thought staring at her black hair she was interrupted once Yilel opened her eyes.

"Learn to knock."

"But I did knock."

With a small smile she sat down on her bed as Yilel rolled her eyes.

"Why are you here."

"To check on your progress of course. Why does my presence upset you?"

"Yes but I'm sure you've already checked so I'm asking why you're still here."

"Can't I just want to talk to you?"

"no."

Without ever breaking her smile Althea started to feel a little less sad as they continued to talk. "It's almost like...." Slowly Xilo opened his eyes as he looked around the cave trying to remember what had happened as he brushed his silver hair out of his eyes. "Weird...." Something felt a little different but he couldn't quite tell what as he looked at the two women staring at him. "Well it seems they've been up to something." With both of them staring so intensely at him he almost wanted to close his eyes and sleep again but he knew he needed to find some water and food for them soon now that he was rested again.

"Morning Xelfia and...."

But as he said that he remembered he still didn't quite know her name yet but when he looked over towards her she didn't answer him. Watching her blink for a few seconds Xilo eventually gave up as he sat himself up properly.

"Morning to you as well."

"...."

With no reply like usual Xilo could only stay silent as he got up stretching his body.

"Did anything happen while I was asleep?"

"It was mostly just silence and sleep so we were fine."

"Well that's good but now that I'm awake I should start looking for some supplies before we try leaving this forest. While I do that you two should stay here."

"No you should let us come and help it'll be faster that way."

'Hmmm....fine."

Seeing her refusing to budge Xilo didn't bother refusing her since she was right anyway as he looked outside the cave.

"Well let's see where today brings us."

Not bothering to waste any time Xilo made sure he was awake as possible as walked into the sunlight that was shining through the trees with Xelfia and the other girl behind him. "I guess we'll just pick another direction for now and see what happens again." He didn't have much else to go off unfortunately so this was the best for now and if they got lucky they might even happen to stumble out of this place randomly. "Though that might be hoping for to much." Sighing he began to walk.

Enjoy
