He explored the towns library and any books he could find in his Clan even if they were useless. Years on years of doing such things eventually led him into stumbling across a book that would help push him towards the thing he wanted the most. Only One Chance

"Not that I've cared to remember, I think it's just a new species of Astral Beasts. Nothing special about it."

Lying a little bit, Zelfin tried to hold his tongue as he spoke. To him that creature would always just be a monster and nothing else. Which is why he didn't say anything beyond it being an Astral Beast. It didn't deserve any other kind of recognition beyond that. Hearing Zelfin's answer Felli felt her heart rate slow down as she felt some relief. "It's just similar..." Trying to convince herself of that, she gave a brief suggestion. She didn't think it would go anywhere but if it was a new species of Astral Beasts then it was needed.

"If that's the case, why not give your discovery a name. Usually people who find new Astral Beasts are given the right to name them after all. It also lets others easily identify it from now on if they run into one as well. Having a name to match to its appearance is much easier to remember and store information on."

"If you want to give it a name in my place go ahead, I'd rather not do such a thing. Now if you'll excuse me I'll be going to rest now."

"Oh, alright."

Watching him walk away for a brief second, Felli headed to her destination. She wanted to goto the medical office to visit Arzan after his return. She heard he had been severely injured so she wasn't allowed to visit him at the time and just now recovered enough to be able to talk to other people. Dragging her tired body forward she passed the throne room's doors as mixed feelings flowed inside her. "I'll think of the name later." RIght now she had more important things to think about. Picking up the pace as fast as she could she arrived at a small set of white doors. Pushing it open, a doctor was there with Arzan.

"Hello."

Noticing a presence at the door the doctor lifted his head up as he gave a bland welcome noticing Felli. Receiving the same kind of reply the doctor checked on Arzan one last time before he walked away. Looking at Arzan lying on the bed Felli walked up to him as she pulled up a chair and sat down beside him. He had been stabbed through the chest with a broken arm and lost a huge amount of blood. They had found him bleeding to death in their teleportation room after he apparently used one of their crystals to escape. Holding in her breath she looked at her brother with a bit of sadness.

"This is my fault...I should have stopped you."

"Hi sis, it's been a little while."

With a shaky voice Arzan looked at his sister with a smile. It was incredibly forced but that didn't matter, he just wanted to make himself seem better for her sake. He wanted to make it seem like everything was okay even with a giant scar in his chest. "They sure did a number on me..." Thinking back to Aeon stabbing him with his own blade he felt a bit frustrated however he should have expected that from him. He wasn't a living legend for nothing but that didn't get Arzan down. It made him want to reach out further to one day reach that level. "I'll be number one. The world will know my name..I swear." If it was for the people he cared about he would do anything. Even playing the bad guy if that was what he had to do, anything as long as it let him climb another step.

"I'm sorry..I put you through all this pain."

"Don't be sorry...I chose to do this after listening to you and I paid the price for getting a little cocky. Mistakes happen."

"Bu-but..."

Feeling tears form in her eyes Felli felt a wave of exhaustion come over her. She was overwhelmed physically and emotionally to the point that she felt like breaking. Sleep was a terrifying thought nowadays though that kept her awake. "Don't cry." Wiping away the tears that crossed her face she heard Arzan laugh. Laughing at her silliness Arzan did his best to grab her hand. Him and Felli were very alike, that was probably why they had become as close as they did. Both ignored and probably even hated by this family, they managed to get along as brother and sister.

"Don't cry for me, you should be happy especially with the news I have for you. I met your friend Tearia when I was out on the trip. She managed to create a cure for the sickness your mother is spreading. I did try to stop her of course, but I only managed to get her to somehow recognize me, who woulda thought it was so easy, Heh. She sure seems to miss you. I did get stabbed by that runaway Aeon though in the end."

"Huh....? You saw Tearia there? What about Xilo then?"

"He wasn't there, I even tried to drag him out but he never showed up. That only ended up making Aeon appear instead, I'm guessing your other friend Xilo was the one who was reported to leave the town with some others. Which means he simply wasn't there and I was forced to fight Aeon."

"....Forced or wanted to fight him?"

"Ehhh a little bit of both, If I want to test my strength I have to face someone like him right? It's a once in a lifetime chance that I just couldn't pass up."

"So you went overboard...like always."

"Haha, that I did, I'm quite good at that but she seemed to be doing alright..Ow."

"You alright?"

"Yeah, don't worry about me, the doctor said I should be fine in another two weeks. I'm more worried about you than anything. You look like you haven't slept in weeks. What's the matter sis?"

Closing her eyes for a second she dreaded hearing that question.

Enjoy.
