Helping Out

Looking around the familiar place their little group walked towards one of their tents while they talked. Relda still stayed a little distance away from them with Mason as a just in case however Xilo was pretty sure it was for more than just that. Once they were there Relda turned towards them as she tried to look calm. She didn't ask before they brought them here and she still had to report what Mason had done before anything else. So hopefully it ended up alright or she wouldn't know what to tell them.

"I'm going to meet with a few people and talk about some stuff. For now though this is my tent so feel free to stay here, just try not to poke around too much. I can't guarantee you won't get in trouble otherwise."

"We'll do our best, good luck with your business. See you in a bit."

Waving Relda off, Xilo watched her and Mason leave before turning around and entering the tent. Peeking inside he saw a couple of chairs scattered throughout the place with a big table in the center and one small plain bed off to the side in a corner. "Feels about right for her." Walking up to the table, Xilo grabbed a chair and pulled it up to take a seat. Once he sat down he practically slammed his head against the table as he felt the exhaustion come over him. It seems he was a lot more tired than he had realized initially.

"How are you all feeling?"

"""Fine."""

*Kuh*

Hearing all the girls say they were fine Xilo didn't quite know how to feel about that as he watched them all sit down as well. Scanning each of their pretty faces, thoughts flew back and forth in his head as he landed on Tearia. She was currently taking out her supplies to once again start working on the cure. "This girl." He felt a little flabbergasted by her actions. Lifting his head up from the table he looked at her for a couple seconds before he said anything. Right now she really needed a break, so it was best she got one.

"Put that stuff away for now Tearia, we don't even know if we'll be staying here long. Just rest, you need it more than any of us here."

Biting her lip Tearia stopped what she was doing.

"But any little bit of progress helps."

"The only progress you're making is a path towards collapsing. I know you have all those people in mind but try to keep yourself in there as well."

"Xilo's right, besides you've already stopped once today, so just take a bit of a longer break."

With Xeflia teaming up on her as well Tearia let out a sigh as she started to put her stuff away.

"Fine, just for now though."

Like that all of them closed their eyes as they rested. Some of them thought about things and some of them just slept as they let time pass. Walking out of the Security building with Mason behind her, Relda let go of all the air she was holding. She could feel the tension leaving her body after all that stress. Having so many strong people staring at her constantly was more stressful than normal this time. "It's over for now." Mason had confessed what he had done and Relda had also talked about the events. She had tried to talk about why he did it to help however Mason quickly stopped her from saying anything else.

"A year of monitored security duty, a pretty large fine and finally you got deranked. You got off pretty easy but if you let me talk maybe you could have been better off."

"I'm fine with this, maybe I could have gotten off a little better if you said something sure, however they also would have been aware of my dissatisfaction with your treatment then. I might have even got punished more severely then in that case. It was better to just use my family's name and push them down that way and I do deserve a punishment. I'm quite happy with this result honestly."

Relda was a bit dissatisfied with that answer herself however she kept it to herself as they walked back.

"If you say so. Now to deal with that group, I talked a little bit about them and they were given permission to stay. so that's good, now we just need the cure they've been making to hopefully help with everything. I'd really like for the sickness to just disappear. So many people have suffered because of it."

"I'm still surprised that they're capable of that."

"They're quite a surprising young group if not a little naive and rough around the edges."

"Got any plans for them?"

"Ehhh maybe, let's go back for now and talk with them. We'll discuss any further things once their job is done but until then I'd like to leave them alone, especially that Tearia girl."

"Lead the way."

Following behind Relda the two of them walked back to her tent. Entering inside they saw the five of them laying around the table exhausted. "They let their guards down so easily." Shaking his head Mason sat down on a chair a bit further away while Relda sat down next to them. For now his place was off to the side away from them especially after what he did. "Can't take back time." He regretted his actions more and more with each passing moment. Knocking on the table a couple times, Relda woke them all up and gave them a few minutes to sort themselves out before talking.

"Now that you're all awake I'd like to talk about some things."

Like that Relda started to discuss some things as time went on. She talked about Mason's punishment, how they could stay here and help along with where they would be staying. Once that was all done they all got to work as Tearia eagerly took her things out and got to it. Relda and Mason left to get a spare tent for them while Xilo and the unbusy girls went around to visit some of the sick people. Helping out where they could Xilo eventually got curious about Flint. "I should go check up on him." Making his way towards Flint's tent, Xilo helped a few more people before heading there.

Enjoy.
