Though that plan never worked out for him and, in the end he was left to strive on his own as best as he could in the environment he was left in. He explored the towns library and any books he could find in his Clan even if they were useless. Years on years of doing such things eventually led him into stumbling across a book that would help push him towards the thing he wanted the most. "The Basic Guide To The Astral Path" This book may not of been special to anyone in the long run but, it was to him because, it was his new beginning. With this new path available to him would he be able to push through all the obstacles and hardships waiting for him or in the end will he stumble and fall? Asked For It?

"Is this what you've been up to lately?" With each and every fight of Tearia's she was always taken by surprise. The Tearia she knew wasn't a fighter but instead just a normal girl with some skills. Watching her collide with her opponent though it was hard to keep that image of her up. "I wonder what happened..." However that was just a wish. Most likely after today she would never see Tearia again. Sighing all she could do now was hope that Tearia did the best she could.

"..."

"Is everything okay?"

Hearing a voice that made her skin scrawl and cause goosebumps as fear filled her body she didn't turn her head to look at the man beside her as she slowly nodded her head. Seeing she seemed normal he quietly left her alone as he went back to watching all the fighters. "Close one..." Breaking off contact Tearia felt recoil run up her arm after that as she began making any lightning she could as fast as possible. The man in front of her wasn't going to be a pushover and taking him lightly would be her own downfall.

"He's a lot more aggressive then he looks though." Watching him rush at her like that, it was the only thought she could think of before she had to dodge as a hammer came out of nowhere and slammed the ground. "Oh right, he was that hammer user from before." She had kept note of it before since it wasn't exactly a typical weapon someone used and he was also quite skilled being a Path Stage himself almost. "Well This will be one hell of a warm up." She knew they were down to the last Sixty or so competitors but she didn't expect her first fight to be like this.

Watching him lift his hammer with ease she forced any lightning she could to her hands and attacked. "Weapon users aren't my specialty." Complaining she snaked her way through the giant hammer that was nearly a meter long in total as she aimed a punch right for his stomach. Sending Lightning through his body she hoped for some kind of reaction out of him but she got nothing in return but a light grunt as he smacked her with the handle of the hammer while backing up trying to ram the back end of the hammer into her back.

Attempting to grab his weapon she ended up missing as she sighed before moving out of the way to avoid getting hit. "If that thing hits me I'm probably going to have some broken bones." Staring at the giant hunk of metal at the end shaped somewhat like a cylinder she shuddered inwardly at the thought of it crushing her bones. "This is the time where having a weapon as well would be nice..." Yet she didn't get the pleasure of receiving an Astral Weapon only something for defense instead. "I really don't want to have to use that here though and it might not even work against something so heavy and huge." Her Astral Defense was better against smaller things that didn't take up a lot of space.

"I also don't know his Path either so that doesn't exactly help." Though there was a small chance he hadn't gotten one yet but it was doubtful. "So what do I do." She would have to save her thoughts for later as she watched the man rush at her with a speed she found hard to believe while he was carrying that. At this point she was stuck in a one sided defensive match but you could say that was specialty at this point. "I did spend over a month practically dodging after all, Ha." Laughing, she calmed her nerves as she got into a rhythm she used to dodge his attacks back and forth while she tried to look for an opening.

"Hmm..It takes a little longer for him to attack than I initially thought." However that still wasn't long enough for her to do much without taking a risk. "He hasn't even shown his Element either so I also need to watch out for that." There were just too many uncertainties at the moment and Tearia didn't have the confidence to make any of them work but at this rate she was going to have to do something. She couldn't dodge forever and soon she would run out of arena space. With such a big weapon each attack zoned out a lot of space for her to dodge making it hard for her to go anywhere but backwards almost.

"Sometimes you can't be afraid to get hit I guess." Seeing the edge coming closer she knew it was time to do something. Stopping herself in her tracks Tearia lunged forward while he was mid swing and tried to get into his weaker area as he began to step back. Going for an attack she generated as much lightning as she could before she grabbed his shoulder sending as much of it into his body as she could before she backed off to the opposite side of him giving herself more room again.

"He may not seem affected by it but if I can keep doing that I might be able to paralyze him...maybe." At the very least though even if that didn't work she had stopped herself from falling off the stage while also giving herself more time to think about how to win this fight. "I did say I wanted a more challenging fight before." Smiling she kept the Lightning in her fingers active and under control while her opponent continued to throw himself at her. "weird that took weirdly long for him to come after me again." yet that thought stopped as she watched his wild swings come towards her without stopping.

"I can't let that happen again." After dodging a couple times she waited for the same timing as before as she rushed in but was stopped once she saw something she didn't want to see. "I knew it." Not even a step away from his body she watched as a giant Ice wall appeared in front of her face stopping her from moving forward anymore. "So it's Ice." Staring at the reflection of herself in the ice she scowled as the sounds of it breaking soon entered her ears while a hammer came flying at her. "Pay more attention." But it was too late for her to dodge at this point as it came flying towards her shoulder.

"At least my arm." Moving her shoulder upwards more she tried to make sure it smashed into a part of her arm as it slammed into her. Bracing herself she sent any Astral Energy she could there as she stopped using lightning to help as she felt it smash into her arm. Feeling her bones and skin getting crushed she didn't even try and fight back against it and instead just let it throw her off to the side as pain racked her entire arm. She felt like screaming a little bit but didn't as she got herself back up from the ground.

"Well That hurt."

Moving her arm around she picked herself up while she made sure it was still in one piece and moveable as she turned to her opponent. Thankfully besides the intense pain it seemed to be okay.

Enjoy
