A Trap

Rounding everyone up Xilo handed Xelfia to Tearia while he wandered back across the Zone. Passing by bodies left and right, Xilo inhaled their blood as he spotted a black haired man lying on the ground. Small splashes of water echoed around him, standing over Hunter, Xilo leaned down. "Still barely breathing." Reaching out, Xilo picked him up by the back and dragged his unconscious body with him. Looking around a bit more Xilo found Hazel a little ways off. "Same with her." Lifting her up in the same way as Hunter, Xilo went back to his group. From the looks of it everyone was alive, their ambush had managed to catch them off guard and most of the Astral Beasts took the brunt of damage.

Tossing the two forwards, Xilo wanted Tearia's thoughts.

"Do you care if Hazel's kept alive at all?"

It didn't take long for Tearia to let Xilo do what he wanted.

"Do whatever you want with her."

"Alright, Keld can you tie these two up and Vandor can you carry them?"

"Sure."

Keld walked over as he took out a pair of cuffs he had on and attached them to their legs and arms. Once that was secure Vandor lifted them up over his shoulders. "Alright, Katrin will bring us back." If they didn't leave quickly their reinforcements would arrive, they wouldn't stand a chance then. "I've got plans for these two." Taking out a piece of paper as he walked, Xilo had Yulrin write something down and toss it into the crowd of bodies. Darkness cloaked their bodies as they left the Astral Zone. Taking the same way back they eventually left the City with no one trailing them. With that being the case Xilo dispersed the Darkness and went to a small batch of trees nearby.

"You can give Katrin the signal now Felli, We're done here."

"Already did it, just give it a few minutes and it should appear."

Did another check on Xelfia, Xilo made sure she was alright as he untightened his body.

Relaxing his muscles Xilo rolled his shoulders as he looked up at the sky. "If I can take over one Astral Zone...what's to stop me from taking over even more." The Sun had just begun to set, bringing nightfall. Xilo's eyes flashed with an insatiable hunger and curiosity for what possibilities the Astral Zones could have in store for him. Before he could think about it any further a circle appeared around their feet. "Looks like it's time." Feeling his body start to transport, Xilo braced himself. Just like that the place they were in was completely empty as they arrived back at Katrin's place.

"More!"

As soon as Delfex heard the news he brought everyone he could to the Astral Zone instantly. "So they didn't lie." Marching down the streets he arrived at the Astral Zone only to find it empty. Cautiously he approached it looking for any signs of fighting or people. "Where are they?" Eventually the scent of blood managed to catch his attention. "Did they win already?" With Hunter there they should have won this fight pretty easily, stepping inside he saw a bunch of bodies immediately greet him. "Hmmm." Trying to find anyone alive Delfex saw a piece of paper float towards him with Astral Energy surrounding it. Catching it out of the air he opened up as the pit in his stomach grew.

"If you want them back, try doing it yourself. Now you've not only lost Relia but Hunter and Hazel. I'm sure I'll treat them just as well as you did Relia. If you want them back you could always come to the Royal Capital, I'll eagerly be awaiting your demise."

Ripping up the piece of paper Delfex felt his blood pressure rising as he looked at all the bodies. Searching through them he couldn't find Hazel or Hunter. Everyone else was dead and the others were missing. "They lost." Kicking a nearby corpse, Delfex couldn't contain his anger. "The Royal Capital eh?" He knew that Xilo asking him to go there was without a doubt a trap. "How did they beat Hunter though." From what Delfex remembered Tearia was quite weak and so was the boy Xilo. Hazel loved to run around him spewing that knowledge even after losing to them. Which led to him thinking there had to be someone working with them or Hazel was lying. "Either way, I need them back and Relia." Calming himself down Delfex started to think out a plan to deal with this.

"I'll go to the stupid Capital but not alone, Relia is too crucial to our future and I need Hunter back. If it was just Hazel this would be so much easier."

He would have let her die and rot in a heartbeat, she was worthless. "This isn't over." Ordering the men he brought with him to clean up the place, Delfex headed back in defeat as he sorted out plans and to talk with his Father. "It's been a long time but it's now or never." He didn't want to rely on his Father however he didn't have a choice now. If they wanted to be the Ruler's of this Country then this is what they needed to do. "This Country is mine." Arriving back at the Castle, Xilo opened his eyes as a trace of flames disappeared from his vision. "Huh?" Tilting his head in confusion, he blinked a few times. "Must've been my imagination." Shrugging it off, Xilo saw Katrin waiting in front of them.

"Welcome back everyone, how'd everything go? Hopefully well!"

".....Drop the act, you probably already know exactly what happened. I can't believe you tipped off Delfex about us. What if we had gotten killed?"

Katrin's friendly smile didn't disappear as she was exposed.

"I had faith in you and look you didn't die. So all is good right? It was a fun little test."

Rolling his eyes, Xilo could feel a headache coming.

"I swear...."

Brushing past the subject Katrin noticed the two bodies Vandor was holding.

"Oh? Who are these two people, some new friends of yours?"

"Something like that, We'll explain more on the way to our area. I want to lock these two up and make sure they can't do anything first."

"Sure thing Xilo."

Enjoy.
