A Tough Lose

With Xilo's help Relia managed to crawl back a few centimetres and escape Felli's attacks. "...What can I do?" She could still feel all the cuts in her hand closing as she healed herself. At this rate she wouldn't be able to do anything in this fight. Unsteadily, everyone started to pick themselves up off the ground with a bit of effort. Moving like this was pretty tough on all of them yet they managed to do their best. Smacking Xilo in the face behind her, Felli ripped Xilo off her body as she grunted. "Annoying." Three times now she has been interrupted from doing her job.

"Quit getting in my way."

For the first time since seeing all of them again she had spoken up. It was only an off sentence to her however to them it was a bit of hope. Seeing Felli act like this had taken them all by surprise, especially Zilan who knew Felli quite well in the past. She was always a Mommy's girl who always listened to her but she had always had some sort of independence lying underneath that all. Meeting her in the mountains had really highlighted the person she could be if she could escape her Mother's influence. "She's failed to do that though." Turning his vision to Keltal who was fighting the Queen still Zilan felt a bit of disappointment. "You could be so much more." She just needed to escape, instead she was drowning her sorrows in acceptance.

"We'll get in your way until you kill us Felli, this isn't you and we refuse to accept it. All of us here, not even just me. Xilo, Tearia as well as everyone else. If you really want to make us stop then fight but don't think we'll let you hide behind your Mother. We aren't pushovers."

Completely ignoring the gravity pushing against his body Zilan stood tall as he gazed at Felli. "She's a lot stronger now somehow." Even with her improvement she wasn't as scary as Laven. With all of them here she could be beaten and if Keltal could handle the Queen then they were fine. They could stop this madness from continuing if everything went well. Lighting his sword on fire Zilan charged Felli head on before she could even process his words. He had wanted to hold back against an old friend but that had changed. She was given them no room for leeway which meant he couldn't hold back. Flames spread like crazy from his sword as he got in front of Felli's face and swung upwards. Reacting before her mind, Felli brought up her blade and defended herself against Zilan.

"You're so annoying, you know that."

A spec of emotion broke through Felli's mask as she blocked Zilan's attack. It wasn't over yet as vines started to curl towards her feet to lock her down. Xelfia let Zilan distract her as she tried to lock the girl down. "Zilan is surprisingly soft." For someone who seemed like such a hot head that didn't care for much he was very observant. "Maybe a bit too soft though." He still wasn't using all the power he had but she could get why. Gripping onto her legs her vines travelled up her body as they stabbed into her body or so she thought. Felli jumped in the air and floated away, landing a few steps away from everyone. Swinging her sword wide, a purple wave flew through the air at everyone that the twins attempted to block.

Earth and nature combined as they both took her attack head on while everyone else braced themselves. Watching Felli fight them Tearia felt her heart hurting more with each attack. "Felli...." Seeing her friend acting like this was hard to accept. "I have to stop her though." Unlike Zilan she fully charged her Lightning as Ravenous appeared in her hands. Holding her Scythe she waited for Felli's attack to be absorbed before rushing forward. Once the walls cracked and fell to the ground Tearia took that as her queue to go in. Running towards Felli she put everything into her attack, heart and soul. Slashing the Scythe, it sparked with electricity as it hit the side of Felli's waist. Digging into her skin she felt a blade stab into her side as a grunt of pain escaped her lips.

Seeing Tearia still trying to attack her, Felli dug her sword in deeper without a care. If someone wanted to die then was more than willing to kill them. Shouting out at Felli's name Tearia did her best to ignore the pain as another attack came at her. While Tearia was distracting her, Xilo broke out of the Gravity along with everyone else. "Seems she can't keep it up forever." Observing the situation, multiple daggers appeared in his hand. Swapping them around in his hand he felt the chill reach his bones before aiming them at Felli. A bit of darkness seeped into them as he threw them along with Marie's Wind Blades and Relia's. This might be the only chance they had to attack with everything they had. If she used that Gravity again then they would be screwed. "You got this Tearia." As all their attacks flew through the air Tearia kept shouting out Felli's name on repeat as her voice went dry.

"Felli, Felli, Felli!"

Every attack came straight at her as panic came into Felli's movement. Pushing aside Tearia's body she did her best to try and escape. Taking so much free damage would be silly, however Tearia's Scythe refused to lose it's grip. "It's going to hit her too!" Felli felt her mind going crazy with thoughts as emotions overran her. "They wouldn't hit Tearia right?" Felli looked to her mother as that thought crossed her mind. Giving up on taking any chances Felli felt her heart break into two pieces as she moved her body. No matter what she couldn't let those attacks hit regardless of anything.

In a second they all arrived at the same time hitting their target as flesh was ripped apart and dug into. With a light scream of pain all the attacks hit her body directly as Felli turned herself around to protect Tearia. "Silly girl." Feeling pain travel all along her back, Felli could only think of protecting Tearia in that moment as her mind tore into two sides. One that screamed out to be with her friends and the other who demanded she listened to her Mother. They both aggressively fought each other for complete control as a small version of herself sat in the middle covering her ears, trying to block out all the noise and forget. Before they could even decide on a winner in their fight a loud scream spread throughout the hall as the sound of a man in pain alerted everyone.

Everyone turned around as they saw Keltal on the ground with a sword through his heart. Freezing in their tracks everyone watched as Keltal died before their eyes. Time felt like it slowed down as Xilo held his breath unable to do anything. "Keltal!" Looking at the Queen standing over his body with a smile, Xilo felt his stomach threatening to explode. He felt sick as he watched someone he had known for a long time die right before him. He had seen death and even caused death in the past but this was the first time he had seen someone he knew die. The shock was almost too much for his mind to take as he felt himself stumble trying to help. Xelfia caught his body and helped propped him up as they all fell silent.

Enjoy.
