A Bit Red

With Flint gone now Tearia went back to working since she wasn't needed anymore. "Just a little more." If she spent the rest of the night creating it she should be able to be done by the morning. She was on the last stretch now, she just needed to power through the exhaustion. "I got this." Spacing out, Xilo didn't sit down right away instead he stood around as Xelfia carefully got up. Coming up behind him she smiled as she touched his arms. Her fingers crawled up his arms one step at a time until she eventually grabbed a hold of his shoulders and pushed him against her chest. Breathing down his back she whispered in his ear.

"Feeling alright?"

Adjusting to the sudden touch, Xilo responded a bit slowly.

"Y-yeah."

Turning around, Xilo looked Xelfia in the eyes as he wrapped her hands around his. For the past couple days he had been ignoring her so she probably felt a little bit lonely. "Just a bit longer." After they were done here, they were heading towards the Capital City to talk with Telan. Then they could finally take a break and rest together after working hard this past month. Rubbing the top of her palms he took a seat as she followed onto his lap and hanged off him. Feeling a tad bit awkward, Xilo gave up pushing her off pretty quickly since it was only their group here. Relda and Mason were off helping others as well however they would be back soon.

"What about you Xelfia? I know I've kinda left you hanging for a bit."

"Ehh I'm fine for the most part, just a bit bored without being able to talk with anyone. I haven't really been useful in this little adventure have I?"

"Of course you have been, what brought this up?"

"I'm sure you saw Kirel with them, that was my fault. I let my guard down and got a sword in the back."

"Huh, let me see."

Letting go of her hand his hand danced around to her back as he lifted up her shirt and glided his hand across her skin looking for it. "Soft." For the most part it was still the smooth skin that he couldn't forget, eventually though he found a small tear in her skin. Touching softly he tried not to hurt her but he still managed to hear a soft groan of pain from Xelfia that leaked directly into his ear. "She should have said something sooner." He was a bit surprised it took her this long to tell him until he thought about it a bit. "She's probably ashamed." letting his hand leave that area he let his hand roam around her skin as they talked.

"Are you in any major pain and is there anything else I should know about?"

"I don't think so, thankfully Tearia has been able to help me quite a bit so it hasn't hurt too bad. It'll still sting if you touch it though, however it'll be gone in a few days from what she said. Still that isn't the important part...."

"Enough of that kinda talk, all of it's the important part and in the end Kirel is safe."

With that silence fell over them as Xelfia felt her body growing weak in Xilo's arms. "Tired." She wasn't exactly tired before however now she could feel it attacking her all at once. Pulling back a bit she stared at Xilo for a few seconds before he grabbed her chin. Holding her in his hands he gently moved in as he kissed her delicate lips. Ignoring the others, the two of them were in their own little world as they continued to kiss. Eventually though they needed to breathe as they broke apart. Xilo also felt a presence approaching them so it was time for them to stop.

Giving the girls no time to speak up Relda walked right in as she looked at the crowd that had formed in her tent.

"We just finished for the day. For now you can use this area to sleep and we'll talk in the morning. If you have any questions, ask me now."

Trying her best to ignore Xelfia's slightly disheveled appearance on Xilo's lap Relda faced the other two girl's and the Fox. Tonight she will be sleeping in another tent she quickly set up before coming here. She figured they would all want to stay together and after seeing Xelfia's display she knew her initial guess was right about Xilo. "I knew it!" He had that air around him from the very beginning but it was hard to say for sure when he was around Relia, with Tearia and Xelfia though she saw it without a doubt. Waiting a few awkward seconds for any questions Relda stepped out with her face slightly red as she went to go to her tent and sleep.

"She seemed embarrassed."

With a small teasing laugh Xelfia watched Relda walk away.

"I wonder why."

Rolling his eyes Xilo took Xelfia off his lap as they got ready to sleep, tomorrow was hopefully the end and he wanted to be ready. With only one bed tonight he would be sleeping on the chair and let the girls take the one bed to their dismay. It wasn't big enough for all of them so they would just have to deal with it for tonight. Once they laid down Xilo returned to his chair as he sat down at the table and watched Tearia work while trying to sleep. "A bit uncomfortable." Adjusting to his position he felt his eyes shut as he fell asleep for a few hours. After a small bit of time he woke up in the middle of the night to see Tearia still working hard as a yawn escaped his mouth.

"Still pushing?"

Noticing Tearia nearly passing out Xilo decided to speak up.

"...uh...huh?"

Feeling awake at the sudden voice, Tearia looked in the direction as she saw Xilo awake smiling at her
