After Subaru passed out Kaji, looked at Beatrice who clearly wasn't happy with Subaru being here. "I'll take him back to the room, and look into what I asked you to, kay?" Kaji said while walking towards Subaru who was just there, lying on the floor of the library.
"Betty can do that, I suppose." The spirit spoke while looking at Kaji, who picked Subaru up like a sack of potatoes.
"Thanks, I'll own you one." The red-haired Oni said, while walking out of the library carrying Subaru and waving to Beatrice goodbye.
While walking through the corridor Kaji thought of the best way to utilize Subaru's power. In the end, Kaji needed him, when facing the archbishops of the witches' cult. Subaru's power could save him, and others time, effort, and maybe more. But the important thing was that Kaji knew of the boy's ability.
And he knew that other people, who saw Subaru act friendly with them, out of nowhere would be suspicious or confused. After all, when you look at Subaru not from his perspective, he acts weird, he knows things he shouldn't know. And while Kaji was carrying the boy like a sack of potatoes he was thinking about all of this.
Soon Kaji reached the guest room, where Subaru woke up, he threw him back onto the bed before leaving. Kaji knew that things would start to escalate bit by bit, by this point in time. After he placed Subaru back into the room, he walked out walking towards the kitchen where Rem, and Ram were preparing lunch.
Soon he reached the kitchen and opened the door, to see two girls with maid uniforms preparing food. to be more precise one maid girl was preparing food, while the other tried to help.
"You guys seem to be working hard." Kaji said as he entered the kitchen.
"Kaji were you in the library talking with Beatrice again" Rem asked while looking at him, while her hands were placed on her hips.
"Onii-chan!" Maili waved her hand, after putting down a knife.
"Hey there, Meili, and yes I was in the library, but it seemed like our new guest found his way into the library as well. But unfortunately for him, his words annoyed our loli spirit, and that led to his mana being forcefully sucked out of him. For some reason that sounds inappropriate, well whatever." Kaji told them what happened while sampling some of the food that was almost ready to serve.
"By the way, where's Ram?" Kaji asked while looking at Rem.
"Sister is tidying up her room, she should be back in a couple of minutes." Rem said while Kaji nodded and joined the two of the girls in making food.

Subaru woke up to the sealing that he had seen before, he mumbled to himself, but then he heard someone speak.
"Oh, he has awakened, sister."
"Indeed, he has awakened, Rem."
"Me, a denizen of the night, waking up in the morning? I'm getting all emotional, I'd better go to sleep a second time. No, I woke up earlier, so this makes the third." Subaru spoke to himself.
"My, what a deadbeat thing to say. Did you hear that sister?"
"Yes, truly the words of a loser. I heard him, Rem."
Subaru couldn't take the criticism of someone unknown anymore therefore he sat up while speaking. "Who are those two voices criticizing me in stereo?" But then he saw two girls dressed in maid uniforms, making it look like he was just staring at them.
"How terrible, you are being violated in the mind of our guest, sister."
"It's terrible. You are experiencing the ultimate shame in the mind of our guest, Rem." The sisters held hands while being as close to each other as possible.
"Don't underestimate my capacity, you are both fair prey in my fantasies." Subaru continued but their next words made him choke on his own saliva.
"Siter, sister, our guest is going to die. When Kaji hears of this, what should we do?"
"The only thing we can do Rem, prepare a grave, in hopes that our guest's body was left intact." Ram said with a mock sad expression on her face.
This was Subaru's first encounter with the two Oni maids, but fortunately, for him, Emilia showed up looking at him as she knocked on the door. "Can't you wake up more peacefully, Subaru?" The half-elf girl asked while looking at the boy, who was still sitting in bed.
