Cute sneeze

"Hire me to work in this mansion!" Subaru said loudly.

"..."

"Achoo." Ram sneezed cutely, making Kaji smile.

No one objected to Subaru's decision, But Kaji was wondering what to do. After all, it seems like this was Subaru's first loop in the mansion. Which meant that either he manages to survive this time around, or there was something entirely. But there was one more thing Kaji needed from Subaru, and for that, he needed to help the guy grow.

There was still time, and Kaji didn't worry too much about it, all he needed to do was to make sure that Rem didn't kill him. The moment lunch was over, and Subaru was supposedly given a job. Emilia led the boy away, while Ram, Rem, and Kaji took the plates back to the kitchen to wash.

While Meili and Rem were left to wash the dishes, Kaji, and Ram went to see how Emilia was doing with Subaru. And the moment they reached a room, where clean clothes were stored, they heard Emilia and Subaru talk.

"Wasn't there anything else that fit, Subaru?" Emila asked the boy who was wearing an oversized butler uniform.

"Oddly, some of the girls' stuff fit me, but…" Subaru began, but then Kaji spoke.

"Are you some sort of pervert, to even think of wearing girls' clothing? Not to men how ridiculous you look, with what you are trying to wear now." Kaji said.

"You look ridiculous, sir…I mean, Barusu." Ram added.

"I'm not a pervert, and don't turn my name into a blinding curse!" Subaru felt a bit offended, but what else could he do but take the verbal abuse of the two.

After some more back and forth Emilia left, after saying goodbye to Subaru, she still had to study for the royal selection. After Emilia left, Kaji had to take measurements of Subaru so that his clothes could be altered to fit him. After they were done, with the measurements, Ram showed Subaru around the mansion, so would know where the important rooms were.

After the tour of the mansion was done, Subaru was introduced to the work he will have to do. Even though he started, and helped with the work, he was not good with most household jobs. He could only do the simple ones without a problem, and even then the guy had a hard time.

After the day was over Subaru plopped on the bed, but then the doors to his room were opened without no one knocking on them. As Kaji entered he gave Subaru his now altered butler uniform, before explaining to him about tomorrow's schedule. After that was done Kaji left.

After leaving Subaru's room Kaji walked to Roswaal's study room, where Kaji told him about Subaru, and his performance today. The clown-faced lord of the mansion seemed concerned with Subaru which didn't really surprise Kaji.

"You shouldn't worry too much about him, he has absolutely no skill, in anything." Kaji said.

"I see, but do keep an eyeeeee on him, and if you see something you deem strangeeeeee or suspicious report to me, alright?" Roswaal spoke while looking through some documents on his table.

After chatting with the lord of this mansion, Kaji left the room and left him alone. Kaji walked down the corridor and met up with the girls before going to sleep.

The next morning Kaji woke up and went out to do his daily exercise. He ran some laps around the mansion, did some stretches, and swung with his sword. He deemed it necessary to always keep one's body in optimal condition, especially in this world. After all, he already changed the future plot with his presence no to mention Killing Elsa, and Finding Meili.

This alone should have had an impact, which would change things up. But now there were some questions that Kaji had. Such as will Roswaal hire some other people to try and do something with Subaru, or would he do something else entirely?

There was only one thing to do right, no and that was to be weary, he needed to be alert so that he would be able to notice anything strange, or out of place.

After Kaji was done with his morning routine he walked back inside the mansion to wake up Subaru. It was time to work, and that was what the guy wished to do. Like come on who would wish to work, he could have asked for so many different things but he chose to work in the mansion.

Anyone else might have asked for knowledge on magic, money, or something else entirely, but this guy decided to work here. Kaji didn't really blame him, but even now he didn't understand his choice, after all, he could have asked to be taught how to fight, or something else.
