"Northern Saber arts – BiFrost." Captain Rodgers used a martial skill for the first time in a long while. The last time he used it… It was a distant memory now.
He shook his head, gathering the tachyon energy in his body toward the weapon in his right hand. The saber reacted with the edge of the blade turning a faint white color, resembling ice.
He felt a slight pain in his torso. His core was reacting to him using tachyon again after a long time. He disregarded it and kept on charging, he would not back down now.
The captain glanced at Elena to find that she was ready to attack. "What are you waiting for?" He asked provocatively. "Tch, fine."
She planted her feet on the ground and dashed forward, closing the distance between herself and the captain in mere seconds. Rodgers saw her coming and moved his saber to intercept, he could see her moving in slow motion but he chose not to dodge.
