A kiss.... P.3 (Finale)

~ Omni Pov ~

Akira smirked confidently.

He felt the overwhelming power in his fists.

'This feels amazing... so this is aura...' clenching his teeth, relishing the sheer outburst of strength he felt.

Rivera looked at Akira with utter shock...

"H-How are you... no... I should have expected as much from my new husband... not only that, you even unlocked an affinity too..." Rivera stated.

Akira said nothing...

'An affinity... does that have to do with the sparks of electricity?' Akira pondered...

He checked his status screen for a split second, seeing at the new stat pop-up under his health bar.

[Aura: 6300/6300...]

Akira then looked at his abilities, just to see if he saw anything new, and when he looked under the 'passives' section...

[Lighting aura release-lvl 1/5: You know have access to a rather powerful affinity, both blessed in power and speed, but primarily speed. The user will gain a 500% strength increase, and a 2000% increase in speed. The higher the level, the greater the increase will be. Cost 750 AP/Aura points per minute... because of the passive 'six-eyes' cost per minute will be reduced to 0.075 AP per minute...]

Akira, seeing this, was pleased...

'As expected of the six-eyes. It reduced the cost of my aura by 10000 thousand times... Essentially, making the cost be rendered null.' Akira noted mentally.

Rivera, realizing this, was both amazed and terrified, wondering how much more this young man would grow in this brief battle...

She had realized that she had to transform.

*HARGHHHH!!!*

Rivera growled, transforming into her partial state. However, Akira wasn't fazed at the least.

She then charged towards him with all her speeds. When she struck, she felt as if she was hitting nothing... Akira wasn't moving from his position at all...

'*TCH!* Impossible!! How are none of my attacks hitting him? Does that affinity have to deal with speed?' She pondered.

Akira looked as if he was bored at the fight...

However, she had other plans... if she couldn't win him in a physical battle, she could at least wind him out of his energy. He had just unlocked it, his reserves had to be low...

But 1 minute, turned into 2, then 4, then 8, then 13 whole minutes...

She had noticed that he was still in perfect form.

Dodging just as easily as he did before, if not a little easier...

Rivera was getting frustrated. She had searched for over 5 years to find him, and now when she found him, it looks like she'll lose him again.

As if on cue. Akira finally spoke...

"Rivera... it's over. There's no need to waste your energy. I won't be running out of energy, so stop wasting yours. Just give up. At this moment. You are far too weak." Akira stated coldly.

Giving her the choice to leave, to spare her even after the things she said she had done before...

'I can't just stop here... I've come too far to go back now, and I won't ever...' Rivera chanted in her mind...

"... I won't let you go... not again..." Rivera whispered under her breath.

Akira said nothing... he had heard it though because of his rather potent senses...

"... Rivera, just st-"

*BOOM!!!!*

Rivera launched with speeds unattainable, punching Jin while he barely blocked. Sending him miles away, and through the mountain...

'THE HELL?! Where did she get this kind of power from?' Akira pondered in his mind. She had gotten a ridiculous jump in power from out of nowhere...

Akira wasn't totally unaware of these strength boosts... When a werewolf is faced with a time of crisis, and they push past their limits, they can get far more powerful than before in a short span of time.

Vampires didn't really get these boosts, rather they're not as powerful as the werewolf's own... however, what they lack in explosive growth, they supersede in raw technique and skill to make up for it...

Still... this was truly ridiculous... For her to get this strong was tedious... Akira was wondering if emotions were playing a role in the increase, and the sucky part was. They kept these boosts. They were almost like an active, yet explosive zenkai. Neither did it help with her being a prodigy.

'Still... I'm stronger...' Akira thought with finality.

He dashed towards Rivera, with even greater speeds than before, adapting to the attacks and growing from them immensely...

Rivera was in a berserk state. Her eyes were wild and erratic... perfect to take advantage of.

Akira quickly blocked two claw strikes, and sending out his own to counteract her third claw strike.

He then used an after image like technique with his speed to confuse her, dodging the debris and the impending mountain that was about to drop on top of them.

He quickly closed the distance, getting behind her.

Akira then chopped her neck. Sending shockwaves inside the decimated mountain they were fighting in.

Immediately, Rivera's aura dissipated. However, her transformation had remained.

Akira looked at the situation incredulously, amazed at how resilient this woman was. She was seemingly unconscious while standing...

'Damn, she's tough...' Akira thought, ready to pick her up.

However, in a burst of speed, Rivera turned around and grabbed Akira's face, surprising him immensely.

"What th-" Akira said, getting cut off.

*CHU...*

She had kissed him. Her tongue ravaging his mouth, even sucking on it too. After what may have seemed like an eternity, she finished... a trail of thick saliva with steam exiting both of their mouths, then soon her long tongue unwrapped his...

"I... g-got... the-e ki-" Rivera stated. Falling immediately de-transforming.
