PROLOUGE

Ever since she was little, Erin hated her ability. It made her an outcast. People pushed her around and bullied her all her life.

Until this moment.

"What are you gonna do, Lillalia?" Jacin sneered. He held her backpack by the handles, her blood, sweat, and tears held by two pieces of whatever backpacks are made out of.

Erin's eyes began to glow bright red.

Fury broiled in her chest, making her want to spit it out like mucus. It overcame her body.

She stepped forward. "Don't touch that."

Jacin laughed. A cruel, hard laugh. Most of the kids around them laughed as well. Some shifted uncomfortably.

Jacin unzipped the bag and took out a notebook. A purple notebook with a drawing of her on the front. Drawing Journal written along the top.

Jacin flipped through and grinned. "You're worried about this? This is garbage."

Erin took a step forward.

Jacin tore out a page and ripped it up.

That same stupid grin.

Erin's step evolved into a sprint forward. She punched Jacin across the face, making him stumble back.

His eyes glowed bright green and he scowled.

"You shouldn't have done that, Lillalia."

Jacin lifted his arm up and Erin's eyes widened.

She had made a mistake.

Fire circled his fist and tears slipped from Erin's eyes.

This wasn't gonna end well.

Fire encircled her, flame striking her. All she could feel was pain and burning. That's all her world was.

Until her eyes closed and the world faded away.

Suddenly her eyes opened and Jacin was holding her backpack.

"What are you going to do, Silvermann?" he sneered.

Erin blinked and looked over herself.

"I'm… alive!" she whispered.

"Huh? Could you speak up?" Jacin asked.

Erin's eyes glowed red once again and she picked a rock off the ground and threw it at Jacin, stunning him.

Then she ran towards him and landed a good hard kick in his stomach.

Jacin cried out and fell to the ground, dropping her backpack.

Erin picked it up and glared at him. "Don't ever come near me again."

Then she walked away, not knowing what would happen next.
