Retelling the Story pt. 4

With knotted brows, I manipulated the reeds and tried to tie that massive river devil up with difficulty so they could do something about it and end my suffering. 

I was so damn exhausted and my headache is not exactly what you call cozy.

So those reeds wrapped around this bastard, right? It kept biting it and flopping around, so I kind of just focused all my effort on that one area and gathered all the plants there. Wishing that I could choke it to death. 

Afterward, that monster fish lost its autonomy— thank Luminus! 

Lukas then wordlessly jumped atop its head.

To be honest, I was skeptical if they could kill it because it is impenetrable, but maybe they could go for its gills and eyes, and then give it their all.

But he did something else. He put his hand on its teeth and then suddenly burst into flames. 

Yes. Lukas was on fire. Literally.
