Disguising as Commoners

"Okay, fine, but where are we going?" I threw the question back at her.

Anyway, it's not as if I haven't pretended to be a commoner before. It's more like a habit now whenever I go out to play, so I don't think Sera's idea is not bad.

"Whatever…"

Kenneth sighed, basically resigning to his fate. He's probably thinking that nothing will change even if he protests. Sera will still do what she wants.

The said woman grinned slyly. "To the place you have never been to."

"Uh-huh."

And where is that? I have already visited all the places in the capital, so is she telling me to go somewhere else?

"Bring us into the gritty part of the empire," was her unexpected answer.

"Gritty part..."

Where is that? The slums?

"I don't know where that is."

I know that our empire is not perfect and there is most probably a good chunk of people that are still experiencing poverty and that not everyone is living comfortably.
