Messenger of the Earl

Right now, I'm currently being restrained, no, I'm currently being crushed by these two huge mountains!

Yes, I was being hugged by the them! I was being hugged by the two thing that made me feel in heaven. The duchess' bosom!

The Duchess of Amaria, Rafaela or Ela as she wants me to call her, is currently hugging me as we listen to the message from the messenger.

As you can tell, two strange looking guy proclaiming themselves as the messenger from the royal capital, arrive after 2 days of my arrival. And now, I'm being invited by a certain relative of hers to a banquet in order to get to know my true position.

It is because the Duchess didn't learn anything about politics. She was only destined to marry from a certain family and thus only managed to learn noble lady's etiquette. However, after the death of her brother from the war, the King decided that she and the one she will marry will lead their territory.

And so, the Duke decided that her daughter will marry any of my family's spare male. Coincidentally, it was also the time where I sent a message to my father which made him busy. And now, here I am being invited by the Duchess' relatives in order to make me a puppet!

Yes, that's right! I had already seen right through them! What, you think I'm a fool?! My former self might be, but I, who had two memories of my life, won't be fool thrice, or more!

Of course, it is also because of my fiancee's decision that I refuse. I mean, who wouldn't want to be hugged by this soft, plumpy, and attractive bosom of hers. If she wants to, I can create another civil war and declare my own country! Hehe, but I won't, not yet.

"P-please don't go, Verian..." She whisper to me cutely as she wrap her arms around my body.

Don't worry, my princess, I won't. Even if you don't say it, I don't really want to waste this power your father had given me.

"Don't worry," I reassure her as I smile and give her a satisfying reply.

However, both the messenger were enrage by my answer.

"You dare refuse the authority of the Earl!? Remember that you aren't still married, so right now, your position is much lower than ours!" One of the messenger angrily exclaim and stand up from his seat.

I don't really care about your position or whatsoever, I just want to spend my time fooling with this lady of mine. You can do whatever you want.

"Y-you! How dare you speak to my fiance l-like that!?" However my fiancee made them flinch as they didn't expect her to voice out.

"Your Grace, if you don't teach this foolish fiance of yours, his head might come flying around!" Oh, he just threaten me. Is that how you speak to a duke? Oh wait, I'm still not officially the Duke... But that's not the case, I can behead them right now if I want to, right?

"Y-you! Want are you saying! Servants! Please guide these people outside!" my cute princess seems to have been madden. However, when she calls the servants, none of them move. The two simply grin as if mocking my fiancee.

I observe my surrounding as I find it unusual. I mean why shouldn't I? She's the Duchess, and they're the servants, so shouldn't they follow her order even if she doesn't hold much power? I think it's quite simple to do her order though?

My fiancee merely lower her head as she realize something. So, she also knows, huh? Damn, she's kinda helpless when I'm not around then? Okay, I'll do it. I'll just teach them a lesson and I hope they learn from it.

And so, I decided to stand up and do the job of a duke. Well, not really since it will be kinda gruesome that can't even be called as a noble act.

I point my index finger towards the grinning man, the one who stand up before. And then,

"Lightning Bullet. Die, bastard!" a lightning bolt appears from the point of my finger and shot the man's head making a large hole in it!

Oh no! I didn't expect such a result! I know I just made it up, but I didn't expect it to be this powerful!

"W-what are you doing?!! G-guards!! Call the guards! You lowly scum, what have you done!" oh! The other man who had a calm face begin to speak! I'm quite delighted!

However, it is not the time to do that. And so, I point my fingers at his head. But before that I turn my head and I ask something from the servants.

"You there, who's the head of this palace?" I ask one of the servant that attempted to run off. I think she's trying to call the guard.

"T-the Duchess, milord," The maid I just asked answer my question with a slight trembling tone.

"So you've already known, then why aren't you following her orders?" I ask her again, however the reply she give doesn't quite satisfy me.

"E-Earl Sergius said that we shouldn't listen to the Duchess' order since she wasn't trained to handle politics and so-"

"And so?! She can't order the servants around?! What does ordering inside the palace have to do anything about politics?" I angrily question her but only give her a rhetorical question which of course made her tremble.

"Well then, if that's how it works. I'll declare it here and now. As of the moment, those who oppose me, those who betray me, and those who will try to harm my future wife, will be behead by me personally. Do you all understand, you piece of shits?" I ask them as I declare my authority to all the servants, however no one answers. It piss me, yes, it really does. It seems my words didn't scare them. I think they need a demonstration again.

And so, I point my finger towards one of the servant, a butler, who was glaring at me when I'm not looking at him.

"Lightning Bullet." And I shot a bolt towards the head of the man as he drop to the ground.

"Now, should I repeat the demonstration again or you will all answer me?" It seems my threat works. All of them had a terrified face on them as they saw one of their colleague dies and decided to nod as a form of response.

"Y-you bastard. You think the Earl will let you off from this?! You just killed one of his son, he will definitely come for you!" I merely scoff after hearing his threat.

"Oh, you can tell him. I'll be waiting though, please do say that. You may go, you can bring your lifeless partner of yours, Hahaha!"

I just made an enemy right from the start. I guess my future days won't be as peaceful as I imagined it to be. However, it will be worthy if I have my future wife right beside me! Speaking of which...

"Ela, are you okay?" I turn my head towards my fiancée, only to see her having a frightening face. She has a dark expression on her as she stare at the location where the former lifeless body lies.

Oh, that's right. She's a sheltered princess as I have heard. I guess this is a normal reaction if I think about it, huh. Yes, I think I should comfort her.

"Ela, I'm sorry, you have to see this. However, this is necessary. I merely treat them like how I treat those who tried to betray us. I'm really sorry. Okay? Come here." I grab her shoulder and hug her as a way to comfort.

"V-verian, why did you kill him?" After the hug, the girl return from her usual expression however she's still trembling.

Um, should I be honest? I mean it was an accident since I didn't expect such power to be released. But I don't think that will work? However, I don't think I can lie either after seeing this puppy eyes of hers.

"It... Was an accident. The spell I just chant, I just made it up and because of that I didn't know that it had that much power. And so, I come along with the atmosphere... Aren't I cool?" I proudly proclaim myself as a cool individual, however, my usually meek fiancée, now has a worried face on her.

"That's not what I meant, Verian. I mean, how can you kill him so easily?"

Oh, so she's talking about that. Well, about that, I think it's alright to be honest to her.

"Ah, you see. I get used to it while in war with the invading country."

"Eh? You partake that war? I thought you were at the-oh, so that's why. Mhm Mhm, alright!" I don't know what happen but it seems things have been resolve after seeing Ela regain her usual expression.

This is refreshing, I really wanna do her now, but I will wait until we get married. I want to fully have her at that time and I will be sure to satisfy myself! Keke!! Oh no, my habit again...
