Demon Hunter

When I awakened my head was splitting, my body was sore, and Sarah was looking at me with a face that screamed -'Im worried about you. How are you?'. My heart felt the warmth of her feelings. Well, maybe more than just from her feelings. When I checked what kind of thing that Demon Hunter Path changed, I noticed that I was in huge heat. Not in a lewd way. My body was really hot. The skin was splintered, my gorgeous scales that were covering the majority of my body were all dried up as if the essence and life from them were sucked out. But what I also noticed was that my heart was beating slowly, but extremely powerfully, like some volcano that was just waiting for the eruption. My blood was darker than in the past, and it also had that glazed look that you'd see on something that is very expensive.

'Feha, analysis'

*ding* "Host shouldn't be too concerned about the changes to his body. The Demon Hunter Path modified hosts body so that it would fit better, but when the modification was almost done, there wasn't enough energy to support it fully, so I let myself to decide to overdraft hosts potential in this body as the host can have many forms and bodies."

Oh. Well, that can wait. I need to say something to Sarah or she will think that I turned into a vegetable.

"Heyy. Don't look at me like or even I will start to worry. It's all good, I just advanced in my bloodline awakening so I needed some rest."

*giggle* "Yes, sir"

*sigh* Now this is life. While I was playing with Sarah, I was also checking information in my head for anything beneficial and that is able to quickly make me stronger. And I found it. By drinking large amounts of Imp blood that is mixed with Mars Lilly, a demon hunter path user, in beginner realms can quickly advance his strength, but this also harmful for talent and future potential. But as I had this body temporarily, and I already considered my next body, I could let myself to quickly get stronger for that price. After deciding on that, I stopped playing with Sarah, that she was so sad about, and got up. I was already partly healthy before using DHP and after using it, although my body hurt like hell, I still could go out, as this was just muscle pain and no injuries. First thing I noticed when I got up from bed was that I grew a head taller. That I also could explain by saying that I awakened a part of my bloodline. After saying bye, I left. When I exited the building I finally managed to see where I was.

'Oh, yeah... Fera, use minimap feature and make it so that I could be it anytime but it wouldn't obstruct my vision'

*ding* "Done. Minimap function added to quick menu"

'Mhm. Good. Now where I should go? Ah yes. Factions. I should probably visit that big blue dude from before. Ruskon was it?'

After deciding my next step I started to make my way to the said faction. Although I didn't know its name, Ruskon left a paper with the address or should I say the place where it resides, as there aren't any streets.

When I made my way to the designated area, I saw a huge blue building in the shape of a cauldron. The intricate carving on the buildings definitely wasn't something that crude beings like demons could make. It's probably made by dwarf slaves- I thought.

As demons were lascivious creatures so they definitely caught some slaves to make everyday life jobs for them or as just pent up 'emotions' relievers.

Anyway, enough of this. So as I walked to the front of the building, I was stopped by guards that were wearing dark-blue uniforms.

"Hold. Who are you?"

Asked the guard in an aggressive manner. But as I was just too lazy, so I just showed a blue round seal into the guard's face. His expression was truly marvelous.

"You, you!!! Aaah, what, h-how did you got this?"

From extreme fury to extreme fear. The rollercoaster just keeps going.

"It's none of your business. Lead me in inside."

I told him as I snatched the blue seal from his still stiff hands.

"Y-yes, sir!!"- with a shout of respect, he dusted off to the door before opening the wide.

Just as I managed to swagger in, I heard a healthy enough booming into my ears.

" HAHAHA. My friend, welcome, you truly came fast. I thought you would still be in bed for a day or two."

"Ah, yes. About that. I managed to awaken a part of my bloodline, so I guess it helped to heal faster. But now my body is really in need of some nourishment."

I 'subtly' mentioned about my 'huge' talent and need for energy.

"Oh don't worry, We blue cauldron can easily give you some treasures. But you should know about the price, yeah?"

In the of his sentence, the big blue guy's eyes turned into slits and his smile grew more and more shrewd.

"Heh, don't worry, we can sign the contract right now."- I said to him to make him trust me more.

" Great, great. Then let's sign it. I just have one on my hand right now. I think its conditions should be acceptable to you, right?"

As he was saying that, he got a parchment seemingly out of nowhere. It's was pale gold in color and giving the impression that you won't be able to run from it once you sign it.

As I was in a hurry to get some sleep, I didn't exchange any more pleasantries and signed a contract with blood by biting my demonic finger. After signing it, I felt someone press on something inside of me, something very important. But the feeling quickly vanished with cracking and breaking sound that I alone heard. But Krim seemed to not notice as his smile was on one another realm of satisfaction.

"Congratulations, young demon. From now on you are a part of our Blue Cauldron Institute."

"Umm. I'm very thankful for that, but could I go rest for some time because I really am not feeling good."

"Yes, yes. Oi, Boni, get this Mister a nice room. And it should be in a relatively quiet corner if you can.

" Yes, sir."-with that voice, I saw a demon, that more resembled a goat than something spooky, come from the shadows."Right this way please" he said respectfully. I faked a grunt and followed him to a room. The room wasn't lavish to the point of absurdity, but it also wasn't poorly decorated.

After everything went quiet, 'Fera, Open that random cultivation technique'

As I said it I heard the always amiable voice.

*ding* "Opening. Done. Acquired Inner World Dan God Manual."

'Oh, that sounds powerful, can you sum it up for me'

After hearing her answer I was a little disappointed as I was really just an incarnation of sloth. Bet she the magic word.

And with that, I felt like my soul left my body. I noticed stars and huge moon just hanging around me.

Maybe I heard it wrong but felt a little smugness coming from the invisible system at the end.

*sigh* well, I better start working. With that, Feha projected the whole cultivation manual into my memories, and I started boring but long road of cultivation.
