Cyberization

-Three Days later, South Africa-

An armored convoy was protecting a limousine. The streets looked secure and there were trained soldiers all over. Of course, these soldiers belonged to a Private Military Company named 'Maverick'. The conversation within the limo being casual, despite the heavily armed presence in the city.

"There's a saying I like" A man with silver hair spoke up, putting on his shades.

"One sword keeps another in the sheath. Sometimes the threat of violence alone is a deterrent. Sometimes, by taking a life, others can be preserved. It's the code the samurai lived by..." The silver haired man said, leaning forward and looking at the Prime Minister of the country.

Outside, atop a high rise building, someone scoffed. A female figure in a white and black armored bodysuit that tightly hugged her frame. While a light red cloak hung off her shoulder and obscured her masked face. The mask being one that resembled the mask of the Goddess she had met but different, in that a visor existed only on the right side of her mask. Patterned in a large, lightning bolt pattern while a piercing yellow digital pupil dwelled within, zoomed in on the limo as it stopped.

Listening to the conversation within the limo, she lightly chuckled before seeing her new teacher make his move. She found it impressive the way he cut the gunner of the APC in half, twice. While the other two APCs surrounded him, he wore a rather amused grin on his face. She watched the limo and quickly jumped between buildings as she chased it, far easier than she had before, thanks to the suit she was given.

It was nearly hit with an RPG and before long, it came to a stop before three of Desperado's foot soldiers. Her own target made an appearance, bringing out his blade as he stood before the limousine. He quickly cut off the escape route of the three before the limo drove off.

"Good.. Now let's see what you can do, 'Philosopher'" She mockingly muttered as Jack sprung into action.

His blade being far superior to theirs, he very quickly cut one down before back flipping away from the other two. It wasn't a challenge for him, he tore through them like the proper cannon fodder they were. His speed and power outstripped theirs and before they knew it, he slid underneath them, cut their legs off, spun around and decapitated them. She still didn't seem very impressed though, due to this being the first and easiest test.

He wasted no time in following after where the Prime Minister was under attack. Only finding a Metal Gear and a Cyborg with the unconscious body of the Prime Minister on his shoulder surrounded by dead bodies. She followed and watched as the Cyborg looked up at her with a smirk and jumped away with the Prime Minister. All while Raiden was stuck fighting with the Metal Gear.

-POV: Sakura-

It seems like everything was going well on our end. This being my first field mission, I was tasked with 'recon' but in reality, I had quite a bit of freedom. Though that merely came with being their employer's kid, I suppose. I have my own goal in mind. Raiden.

He was an interesting one. I heard he was strong and I knew he was here. Turns out, the truth is, I heard right. The large blade of the Metal Gear was being held up by him alone. He was blocking it. But that's not the most impressive part, because now; he had thrown it up in the air. Running along the large blade, he slashed it apart before jumping again and splitting part of the Metal Gear in half.

~Well.. that settles it, I had to have him~ I thought in amusement.

~The tricky part is converting him..~ I begin to follow after him again as he chases after the Prime Minister and the bald man whose name I forgot.

He didn't detect me, due to me leaping from rooftop to rooftop. All until the Metal Gear returned and he began to fight it again, this time with a tight scowl.

I briefly stopped thinking as I watched him hop from missile to missile. Then cutting off the second appendage of the Metal Gear. Only for it to throw him into the clocktower. Which started collapsing as more missiles and plasma lasers fired at Raiden, who started to run down said clocktower and properly cut the Metal Gear in half this time. My interest subsided when I heard my new mentor contact me.

Answering, I heard his unique Brazilian accent, "Oh young one. All done with the spying? We're leaving. Using the train passing through South of the City. You should head over unless you want to be left behind"

"Oh I've seen plenty. Be over in a few, Mister Sam" I replied, hearing a small chortle from the man.

Kicking off the building, I started sprinting across rooftops and running along the walls with the suit I wear helping me stick to them easily. Not long and I see two APCs surround the bald man and decide to actively help.

By landing on said APC's front and tipping it before blasting the second with an intense white fireball that turns it and everyone inside into slag. The gunfire I swatted away with a cutlass I summoned before stabbing the nearest cyborg through the mouth and used his body as a springboard, jumping up onto the train passing by while the Bald man nodded, seeming to be impressed.

~Oh if only you knew..~ I couldn't help but chuckle to myself as I unsummoned the cutlass, noticing my new Mentor seated on a crate with a bored expression.

"Not very fun, I take it?" I ask, seeing him slowly nod.

"Maverick doesn't really hold up. Maybe that Raiden guy.." He seemed to entertain fighting Raiden in his head.

"He's strong, sure. He has killer potential. But aside from the Metal Gear, I haven't seen him as a real threat yet" I answer honestly, seeing his grin widen.

"Is that right? Maybe he's like you eh? Self taught, promising.. Sure in his ideals and determined. Maybe just needs some hands on training" Sam rubbed his jaw, getting bored again as the bald man arrived with the soon-to-be-dead Prime Minister.

"Oh good, little Armstrong made it t-" He didn't have time to complete the sentence before he felt the tip of the rapier I summoned pierce half an inch into his neck.

"There's a reason I wear the mask. A damn good one. Keep saying my last name and I'll kill you right here, right now" I warned, my rapier turning into motes of white light.

"Hrmn.. My bad, missy. Really sorry about that, honest" He placated, though I could almost see him cursing me in his mind.

"Hahaha! Fiesty pupil I have. She's right though. Especially since we have company" Sam looked at the newly arrived Raiden, having stopped in front of us.

"Prime Minister!" He looked at us apprehensively as I finally hatched an idea.

I opened a Private channel to Sam while talking quietly so only he could hear me.

"Hey Mentor. When you do fight him, try not to kill him. Severing his limbs is fine but I have a plan for him. Maybe get him to talk too, I want to hear what reasons for going this far are. This isn't just being a professional PMC cyborg after all. There's a reason he's doing this" I say, hearing Sam hum while the bald Cyborg behind us starts talking about war.

"Gonna make him switch sides? Make him see things your way, like your friend?" He muttered back, keeping an eye on the silver haired man.

"Something like that" I answer with a shrug, seeing the body of the Prime Minister shoved off the train.

He immediately started to run at us as a chopper flew over.

~I'd rather you be as weak as you can for later so..~ I made the first move.

-POV: 3rd-

After not even a second of his charge, Raiden felt as if he was hit by a freight train. A heeled boot violently and powerfully struck his chest and he was sent flying back three carts before coming to a stop, driving his blade into the metal to stop himself. He started coughing up blood, feeling at least four of his ribs were broken on impact with that kick. He staggered getting up, seeing the Brazilian cyborg walking over to him with his own blade on his shoulder, grin still present.

"Hits like a truck right? Managed to get myself a little monster. Ah, enough about that. Let's go" Sam clashed blades with Raiden, who only grunted from the exertion of Sam's power.

Sakura held her hand out and a C15A2 sniper rifle appeared, grabbing and loading it with magically enhanced bullets. She waited and watched as Raiden struggled to keep up with Sam.

~I'll have to sway him too. After he teaches me everything I need to know, anyway~ Sakura thought to herself, smirk growing behind her mask.

"Hmm... self taught... and not half bad.. Still.." Sam hummed as Raiden held up his blade in defense of Sam's.

Raiden tried to flip behind him, only to take a slash that sent him back further, stopping himself on the ceiling. Only to be hit back again as Sam leapt after him, hitting Raiden right back down.

"Your technique lacks something.." Sam mused to himself as Raiden got up.

Blocking the next seven swings from Raiden and backhanding him, he hummed again and kicked him into the ceiling before they locked blades again as Raiden landed.

"Now, I see. You deny your blade its purpose" Sam realized, seeing Raiden's frustration evident on his face.

Seeing the perfect window, he hit Raiden in the face with his hilt and swung up, slashing his eye and permanently damaging it.

"It yearns to bathe in the blood of your enemies.. yet you hold it back" Sam accused, looking at his own blade somewhat affectionately.

~Yes.. He doesn't fully have his heart in it, does he? The Metal Gear, he did. Ah.. morality, is it?~ Sakura rolled her eyes as she heard them speak from Sam's comm.

"No.. My sword is a tool for justice" Raiden stood back up, pointing his blade at Sam.

Sam frowned and sighed, hearing Sakura sigh at the exact same time.

"I've heard what I needed to. Incapacitate him" Sakura said before firing the rifle and hitting Raiden's left leg with the magic bullet.

The bullet erupted on impact and destroyed his leg up to his thigh. Raiden, taken back by the sudden attack, couldn't defend against Sam before he had his last organic arm severed. He quickly fell on his back as blood gushed out of his missing arm and leg. Seeing the masked woman who kicked him before, holding a sniper rifle as Sam glowered.

"I know, I know. You could have done it yourself. I just couldn't stomach that bullshit he was talking. A 'sword for justice'? Are you serious?" Sakura apologized before mocking Raiden, the train getting out of the tunnel.

As soon as they got out, they were fired upon by Maverick's APC's. Sakura behind Sam as he slashed away several bullets. She aimed her rifle at the APC but smirked as she felt a familiar power from the Desperado chopper that returned. A fireball the size of a minivan crashed into the cliffside where Maverick's APC's were, destroying two and creating a rockslide that made continuing impossible. Several more fireballs rained down on the cliffside, courtesy of another female in a black and blue armored bodysuit. Though she wasn't wearing a mask, only a cybernetic eyepatch. She glared hatefully at the Maverick soldiers fleeing before lowering a cable to Sakura and Sam.

"Right on time" Sakura mirthfully exclaimed, knocking Raiden unconscious with a kick to the head before grabbing his blade and his body and grabbing the cable with Sam.

"Magic eh..? Still can barely believe it" Sam whistled, impressed at the destruction Natsuru displayed.

"Technology is just as, if not more potent. For now anyway. I have much to learn still" Sakura replied as they boarded the chopper, seeing a conflicted Natsuru.

Tossing Raiden on the floor, she walked over to Natsuru, taller than her in her War blessed form and suit she was using. Sakura placed her hands on her cheeks after taking off her mask and lifted her gaze to meet her own. Her iris a mesmerizing shade of dark purple in her blessed form.

"You did so well today, Natsuru. Taking a life is never easy, but it is necessary. To build a better world" Sakura rubbed circles on her cheeks with her thumbs and gently told her.

"I.. It's hard but I can do it. If it's for a better world" Natsuru nodded, blushing at the intimate contact before Sakura smirked and broke it off, looking at Raiden with a small but malevolent grin.

~Now, to break you down.. piece by piece.. and then, build you anew~
