Five days later, the doctor, (the name I came up for Elaine's father) came back into my cell.
He conducted his regular tests, and my cries of anguish reverberated throughout the basement where I was confined.
He boasted about how the potion he had created was a success, and that he and Elaine were making a lot of money off of it. After he had used the syringe to draw out my blood, of course.
The people were enamored with them, their remedies were able to heal diseases, ailments, and even the most grievous wounds that not even the most powerful healing magic could fix.
He departed frequently, returning every five days. He would proceed with his experiments, drawing my blood with a syringe. He would go on boasting about the achievements and wealth that his potions would bring them.
"Time passed quickly, with days turning into a week and weeks into a month."
((Serveral Months Later))
The doctor was now wearing a crisp, white uniform that exuded a sense of professionalism. The fabric had a strange texture, but I'm certain it was costly.
He chuckled as he was taking my blood with the syringes. I asked, "Is something funny?" He quickly composed himself and continued to concentrate on his task.
He completed collecting my blood and rose to his feet, packing his bag and placing the vials of blood in it. "I'm so appreciative of you," he said.
I gazed blankly at him, not saying a word and keeping still.
He spun away from me and his laughter echoed again, "It's all thanks to you, Tottori Village is now a kingdom!" He exclaimed. He went on, "My potion has attracted people from all over the world, and now Tottori Kingdom is flourishing as a result!" He spoke with pride.
He said, "A few months ago, the Village elder of Tottori was always suspicious of my potions. He would always inquire as to where I had made them. Recently, however, he was afflicted with a rare and deadly illness called 'Termomthea', which will take his life shortly." He glanced at me as he spoke.
"Due to the Village elder's opposition to my potions, he refused to take them and even tried to forbid them. However, the people disagreed with him and he lost his position as ruler and was forced to become homeless, now begging for money on the streets!"
The doctor was unable to keep himself from smiling, and was likely feeling pleased and fulfilled with himself.
He flung his arms wide in delight, shouting ecstatically, "We couldn't believe it! The people of Tottori were without a leader, and asked us to become their rulers. We were thrilled to accept!" His voice rose to a fever pitch as he whirled around.
He began to settle down after his enthusiasm, brushing off the dirt on his clothing. "Tottori is now a Kingdom, with Queen Elaine at the throne," he declared.
He opened the bars and started to leave my cell, waving one hand in farewell. "Thank you my friend, without you this wouldn't have been possible," he said as his footsteps echoed as the door shut behind him.
At this moment, I had no idea what to think. There were no feelings running through my head. I was utterly numb.
I was lost in my thoughts, and all I could do was stare at the ground and think to myself, "Oh, I almost forgot. I wonder how Sado and the others are doing."
"Knowing Sado, he is probably one of the most beloved characters around at the moment. Meanwhile, I'm stuck in a prison, suffering abuse and torture for the benefit of others."
The pain is relentless, and I feel as though I'm being dragged through a never-ending cycle of despair. No matter how hard I try to fight it, I'm losing more hope each day.
I'm mentally exhausted and frustrated, and the only thing I can do is accept that I'm living in a state of perpetual agony. Even though I'm in immense pain, I'll continue to fight through it and never give up.
It didn't take long before a couple of weeks passed, and then the weeks turned into months, eventually turning into years.
I murmured to myself, "Has it been six years already? I made an effort to keep track of the time that passed by observing the dawn and dusk through the window."
My physical appearance has changed drastically from what it used to be. My hair is full, unkempt, and long. My muscles are more defined than ever before and my facial structure and height have altered too, with me now standing at six foot four inches.
I believe the reason why I had been going through so many transformations was due to the fact that I had immortality. My body was altering itself in order to reach its full potential as a peak human being.
Unfortunately, I was held back by these chains and couldn't make any use of it.
The agony of the torture is no longer present, however, the doctor now visits daily rather than the standard five days.
The doctor stated that now that the Kingdom has become a nation with millions of people in Tottori, longer visits are necessary every day.
It has been quite some time since the doctor last came here, likely swimming in his new found wealth."
Since that time long ago, Elaine has never taken a single step closer to the cell.
I kept pondering to myself, "What was the purpose of reincarnating again?"
"Oh right, I had to kill some kind of Demon King with my classmates within fifteen years. I forgot his name though."
"It has been six years since then, so we have only nine years left until his resurrection."
I couldn't help but chuckle, the irony of the situation was amusing.
"It's ironic that I'm going to rot and be remembered as a loser, just like I thought I would in my past life."
"I should let go of any desire for retribution and acknowledge my place as a helpless pawn with no value."
I felt my determination waning as I thought back to my history, both in this life and the one before. "Can I really go out like this?" I whispered.
From the time I was bullied to the point where my face was unrecognizable, to the time my own mother and closest friend betrayed me.
"Is this really going to be the end for me?"
"No." Despite all I had experienced, the planet still had to rid itself of deceivers and untruths.
My expression changed to one of extreme rage. "I WILL NOT DIE LIKE THIS!" I shouted in frustration, my voice much deeper than it had been in the past.
"I WILL MAKE THEM ALL UNDERSTAND!"
I tried to break free from the shackles, my exhausted body making it difficult and causing me intense agony with each effort.
"COMON BREAK FREE, GOD DAMNIT!"
I felt my hands and ankles being wrenched from the shackles as my body was wracked with agony.
"I DON'T CARE ABOUT PAIN ANYMORE!"
"I DON'T CARE ABOUT NONE OF IT!"
"I REFUSE TO DIE LIKE THIS!!"
*TEAR*
As my limbs stretched, I felt my ankles and hands tear away from my body and I fell to the ground.
*THUD*
I was sprawled out on the floor, my body was filled with energy, my eyes were wide open.
I glanced at my hands and observed them regenerating almost immediately.
I went from lying flat on the ground to getting onto my knees and then, as I started to stand, my hands and feet both regenerated so that I could stand on my own two feet.
I surveyed my worn hands and feet which were still bound to the shackles that had held me captive for the past six years. This was the first opportunity I had to move around freely.
My expression became serious as my eyes filled with malice and my mind had only one thought in it as I looked to the left of my line of sight.

"It's about time I get something called revenge."
