Re: Grand Theft Auto

Archer is just an ordinary man, with a routine schedule, like any regular person. He was an ordinary citizen, almost never breaking any law. However, all of it changed when he sat down on a plane heading to Los Santos. Without any notice, he moved to the world of Grand Theft Auto. Follow Archer as he journeyed through the chaotic world of Grand Theft Auto, starting from robbing a mere grocery store to get money to planning a grand heist to steal millions of dollar. He would meet several interesting people along the way, people who belong in the original story and those who aren't.

Respawning

As I initially thought, I wouldn't survive that long in this world. Well, life was short anyway, time to go to another world, or to another emptiness called the void. The grey filter didn't disappear yet. I kept waiting.

▌Respawning: ■■■■ ▐

The respawning bar immediately filled up and the grey filter disappeared and was replaced with full darkness. Before I knew it, I was back inside the game. I was standing right in front of Ammunition. Wait, I couldn't die in this world? This world was truly Grand Theft Auto, then, minus the players for now.

The apartment was too far away, should I steal a car? What could possibly go wrong? I approached a white sedan that was stopping right in front of the red light. I approached the driver's side and opened the car's door.

I aimed my pistol at the driver, "Get out, this is my car now!"

The driver get out of the car and I entered the car. I hit the gas as hard as I could and I ran through the traffic lights. This world was truly a sandbox, I'd be free to do anything I wanted. I should be grateful.

▌𝒜𝓁𝒷𝒶𝓃𝓎 𝒫𝓇𝒾𝓂𝑜, 𝒮𝑒𝒹𝒶𝓃▐

The mini-map turned into some sort of mini-GPS. I just needed to follow the route and I'd arrive at the location without any hassle. No ballas was pursuing me either, that was the good part of doing a new mission.

You didn't have to face an endless wave of enemies just to reach an objective. In harder missions, especially heists or anything that had to do with DLC, the enemy just came in horde even though you only stole a mere drill. Heck, with Merryweather, they would send an attack helicopter just for the sake of putting you down.

The Primo was not the fastest car, but it was not the slowest either, compared to Lamar's Emperor which moved hella slow for what it was. I drove the car recklessly, passing every single stop light, and crashed it several times into the street poles.

Shit, it made a dent in the car, but I'd be lying if it wasn't fun. If this was the real world, I'd be dead in a matter of seconds. Man, this was the best thing to ever happened to me. From a mere medical worker, now I became a criminal on the way to building its criminal enterprise.

"HAHAHA," I giggled as I reversed the car.

After several more crashes, I finally arrived at Gerald's apartment. I parked the car right in front of the entrance. I entered the courtyard of the apartment, right there was a golden marker just like in the game. I stepped into the golden marker. Lamar was standing right in front of an apartment room, apparently.

"Hey, sup dog?"

"Good, here's the thing that you're talking about," I gave Lamar the drugs, the package of weed, probably two kilograms of it. I didn't know what, but my heart was pumping as I did this thing. Life was never this interesting.

"Hey G, my dude's here!" Lamar shouted.

A fat person with a white fedora opened the door. He came out of the apartment and approached me. He then asked for the drugs by showing his hand to me. I gladly gave the drug to him.

"Good. Good, here's your share," Gerald gave me a stack of money.

I grabbed the money and looked at how much did Gerald give to me.

"Don't bother to count it. It's all in there, a grand, that should be enough," Gerald said.

"See. G. I know both of you will get along quite nicely," Lamar commented as he poke my back.

"If you got anything interesting, just come to me," Gerald said.

I just nodded. I didn't have anything to say anymore, if I needed a mission, I could contact him using the IFruit smartphone that came in default for any new player, and the truth was, I just realized that the phone was in my left pants pocket all along.

"See, now you got some dough, it's better for you to get some nicer threads if you get what I mean," Lamar commented.

"What? My suit isn't good enough for LS?" I asked.

"It's too sharp. I can see you from miles away, dog, wear something less flashy, would you?" Lamar said.

Well, yeah, I agreed that I looked out of place among the other lowlife gangsters. Well, in executives, the crime threads more or less looked like me. However, he had his point. Maybe it was better to put on more casual clothing.

"Well, I'll think about it," I said.

"Don't think about it, dog, you better do it," Lamar said.

"Fine, fine, I got to go," I said as I walked away from the apartment.

As I walked, another notification appeared on the HUD. It was a mission notification screen from whoever was above.

▌RANK UP [2]▐

I ranked up. Several pieces of equipment would be available now, but I wasn't sure what would be available. Still, even the basic equipment was more than adequate at this point. It was better to buy guns first, at this point, anticipating more jobs from players around.

However, there was another tutorial thing that I had to finish in the form of a side job from Lamar. I had to go to the clothing store and change to something less sharp and more casual. This suit was indeed too sharp.

I headed to the nearest clothing store. The clothing store's name was Discount Store. It sold low-end clothing at a cheaper price compared to something like even Binco. However, in GTA Online, players would be able to buy clothes anywhere, to be entirely honest. It just happened that Discount Store was closer to Lamar's house.

"Welcome to the discount store, how may I help you?"

I walked right to the shirt section to open the interaction menu, or that was how it worked back in GTA. Here, it might work differently.

I got closer to the bunch of folded-up cheap flannel shirts and the interaction menu immediately appeared in front of my peripheral vision.

▌Press [Here] to browse shirts and jackets▐

I pressed the here button and more interaction menu appeared right in front of me. There were a bunch of clothing options, but I went to the utility section and bought a black utility jacket.

Black Utility Jacket 100$

After that, I also bought a black t-shirt alongside black cargo pants. I also bought more casual shoes than my expensive-looking black leather shoes.

▌Black T-Shirt 20$▐

▌Black Sneakers 70$▐

Well, that was all. This total shopping cost me around 190$. The suit was put into the inventory alongside the expensive leather shoes. I could access it in a clothing store or save it as a player custom outfit to ve easily accessible through the interaction menu aka the quick menu.

I got out in the clothing store in that more casual outfit. Immediately, I thought of getting a new car, not a sport one and definitely not one that had some trackers in it which was usual for a car above 100,000$. A car cheaper than that could be stolen rather easily.

◄Incoming Call: Unknown►

"I heard you from Lamar. He said you are some kind of big shots. only with a somehow inadequate sense of style."

"Excuse me, who is this? I don't even know."

"Name's Simeon. You should get yourself a fine car."

"And how should I get a fine car?"

"I have a friend in Los Santos Custom, who should help you with your... needs."

He then closed the call immediately. Well, speak of the devil, that was my answer. Los Santos Custom would provide me with marker for my car alongside with the insurance in case it got destroyed by a prototype jet bike.

Still, in this location, which was filled with low-class housings and gang bangers, I doubted I'd find anything better than a mere Primo or something similar. I would think that a bike would probably be better, but well, I didn't know better.

In front of me, there was a car stopping near me. The car was quite nice, a car used by Dave Norton if I wasn't wrong. It was quite a fast car, with average handling, but practical enough to carry a full team in a heist. Basically, I would it was a beginner car. It was a four-door sedan loosely based on BMW.

I headed for the car and opened the car door. The car door was not locked, as usual. Somehow, I also knew how to hotwire a car and turned on the car engine. The name of the car immediately showed up on my HUD.

▌Go to Los Santos Custom▐

The blue dot appeared and it led to the Los Santos Custom located near Lester's factory that was used for the heist by the three protagonists. Still, it might be a good idea not to venture to the factory since Lester didn't even know me at this point. Alright, time to go to LS Custom and fitted this car with ◄Tracker►and ◄Full Coverage►
