A Dream?

It was a normal day like any other, I was playing my favourite Mmo {Clegon} as I suddenly close my eyes, feel a lot of pain, and as I next open my eyes I hang upside down.

I start screaming and realise that it helps me know the outlines of everything in the surroundings.

I looked around, but my eye sight was miserable.

maybe it was a Lucid dream? I was sure of it, so I decided to open up the status screen, if this dream had one.

So, that was exactly the same screen as in {Clegon}, a Dracobat is a Animal on the Green cradle Planet, a planet with a lot of Shamans and Pugilists in the early stages of the game, but no Psychics and a few espers. So, I am now a Dracobat? Let's see... Dragon kin where six limbs creatures that where normally not from this planet, Dracobats are the only ones of them who live on the Green Cradle.

So if I remember right Dracobats where not feared for their strength, but for their semi sentience and Numbers.

Good, Fly allows me to fly, my Title allows me to remember my past live before I possessed the Body of a Dracobat that just grew up from a youngling to a adult.

Player essence is what was the unique skill of Players that allowed them to Get the System as well as the Forum and other things that only players could access...

I remember, a few people hacked in at the start, any person who is online before the Beta launch gets one of those... if I have one, I should buy something, as it will be unusable after the Beta ends... let's think... A random Box? Not worth it, I can always buy it with quest points.

No weapons either, only four things left to choose from.

Nope, I don't want any cosmetics, that would leave me with a Esp awakening serum or a ethereal shard... so, should I become a Esper, or do I want to get a stone with ethereal essence that would make me a Psychic?

Esper or Psychic, I will remember that choice, but I first need to reach a higher level and boost my Luck, I will never forget how useful it was to always choose Luck.

So then... why are the others so Impacient? oh, I get it, a few cavemen entered our area.

Let's go hunt some caveman, this era was only accessible in the Beta, I loved it.

and so my fellow Dracobats and I flew down to get a bite out of those dudes, they because they are Hungry, I because I need the XP.

So I dashed down, knowing how to do it instinctively And flying a little above the swarm of others that stormed at the caveman, we are about 15 centimeters from one wing to another, and 6 centimeters from head to toe.

and as the cavemen killed a few of us, my fellow bats dashed back to the ceiling, while I chose to continue following the Humans.

And while I glided behind them, I heard the sound of a howling, the memories of the previous owner of this body told me that there are Slurkers in the Cave, a kind of Canine creature that have a very good night vision.

So as the Humans closed in on the Slurkers, I circled around them, they had pretty cool sticks and one even had a staff, so let's see how the fight goes.

Seran and Peter are the most promising young hunters of the Village, so they went with the Shaman of their Village to fight the Pack of Slurkers that resided in a Cave close to their's, and as they where about to fight them, they where surprised by their enemies number, they fought as good as they could, and after the Slurkers stormed at them and they finally killed them all, they where covered with wounds and close to death, so they decided to rest a little, while the Shaman would start carving some runes in the Ground.

and just as the two of them slept and the Shaman was relaxing while trying to put up a ward, he shrieked, it hurt a lot as he first felt something hurting around his shoulder blades, thinking that where his old bones, before he felt the pain in his throat, and as whatever bit him there was sure that it would kill him it took off, he managed to see the bat like creature and hit it with it's finger.

as the two boys woke up all they saw was the Shaman covered in Dracobats scavenging his corpse, and the two halted their movements, thinking of how to survive and what to do.

As I was hit by the Shamans finger and didn't wake up, I realised something.

That was not a dream, and not a game.

I just killed someone for the pure purpose of leveling, I mean, yes, I just went up two levels for it, and Realised how it would help me in the future, but I was shocked, shocked by the fact that I, even now, don't realy care about the fact that he died by my bite, and my mind is full of Ideas to kill the two warriors...

He gave me 400 XP.

Should I just kill them, should I cross this line?

No

Do I have to Cross this line to not get hunted down by a whole tribe for killing their Shaman?

Yes.

So I quickly allocated the 4 stat Points I gained for reaching lvl two

and Hope that Luck is still as useful as it was in game, where It was for how a random shot hits, if you get an infection and everything that has to do with chances.

So I circle around the ceiling and wait for an opportunity, which comes as one of the two stormed forward while the other one was screaming at him not to.

that was the chance I took and let a rock fall right in front of the guy who didn't charge forward, he was so confused that he Looked up, giving me the perfect chance to make a circle downward right into his Adams apple, he could have seen me, but as I bore my Fangs in his throat, teared as he was in shock, and disappeared as fast as I could as the other dude looked out for me, Adrenaline pushed threw my veins as I got the two hundred XP and leveled up to lvl 3, I once again put all the points in Luck, and waited at the ceiling as the other dude was swarmed and attacked by about thyrtie of my kin getting angry at the Dude that killed some of them.

So I went towards the ceiling and slept, hoping it was just a dream and I didn't realy kill someone, even though my aching body told me otherwise.
