CHAPTER 11: Hole in the ceiling

After hearing what Javier said, Billy started talking about his own experience. Billy was originally a member of the navy. A year ago (1997), he and more than 20 companions went to a certain jungle in Africa to carry out a mission.

Their task was to find the rebels' hideout in the jungle. His unit got lost in the jungle. When they reached their destination, due to continued fighting and illness, there were only four survivors left on the team.

All because of the intelligence error, although Billy was angry, he pretended that nothing happened and wanted to go back immediately. What was even more intolerable for the captain was that the so-called guerrilla base was just an ordinary village.

The furious captain issued an order to kill all the villagers and knocked out Billy, who refused to carry out the order. He then blamed Billy for the deaths of 23 comrades and sent him to a military tribunal. Under the verdict, Billy's military rank was removed, he was forced to abdicate dishonorably, and he was sentenced to death.

After listening to Billy's narration, Rebecca and Javier also sympathized with Billy: "Let's get ready to leave here."

The three didn't stay long and immediately left this place, following the passage where the monster came out, the three arrived at the huge laboratory with a swimming pool.

"I didn't expect us to actually come here, but didn't we go back the way we came?" Rebecca said doubtfully, "That's not necessarily true Rebecca."

Following the direction pointed by Javier, they saw the same door to the conference room, guarded by two warriors. The door was also opened at this time.

After the three opened the door, there was actually an observatory inside, with a huge astronomical telescope in the middle. The three approached: "There is no passage here." Said Billy.

Javier went to the astronomical telescope. There was an operating table here with three slots. It looked like something needed to be placed in it to open the mechanism.

"I think I've seen the shapes of these three grooves before." After Billy finished speaking, he took out three stone tablets from his body and placed them in the grooves.

When the stone slab was placed, the entire observatory began to shake. After the three felt a tremor, the place calmed down again.

After Javier opened the observatory door, what appeared was no longer the laboratory, but a passage in the water. The three of them were also amazed.

"I wanted to know why they have so many mechanisms?" After Rebecca said that, the three of them walked down the hall. After walking for a while, the three arrived at a building.

Javier pushed the door but it seemed to be locked "Let's spread out." Billy walked to the left and Rebecca walked to the right.

"Javier, there is a mechanism here." After hearing Rebecca's words, Javier heard a click and the door opened.

"Rebecca, don't go there. I'll go in and take a look myself."

After saying that, Javier entered and went to the building.

Javier took a look and saw that there was nothing, so he was about to leave. At that moment, Javier looked up and saw that there was a big hole in the roof of the chapel and a huge bat appeared.

Javier took out his TMP and started shooting wildly. The bat wanted to get down, while some smaller bats tried to protect the big bat.

Javier relied on his vitality to slowly consume the big man to death. The huge corpse fell to the ground.

After taking a look at this guy, Javier walked over and left. When he left, Rebecca and Billy were already waiting outside the door.

"Did you find anything?" Seeing Javuer leave safely, the two felt much more relaxed. "There is an elevator there, but there is no electricity and there is also a door that is closed."

After hearing what Billy said, the three of them went to the elevator. As expected, Javier went to another door and opened the lock.

After entering, they arrived at the chapel's backyard. There was an electrical switch on the wall. After Javier pushed him, they reached the elevator.

At this moment, the elevator was turned on. After the three entered, the elevator began to move slowly.

After leaving, the three appeared in the corridor, and saw that at the end there was a room. After the three of them entered, they discovered that this must be a reference room.

Inside, Javier found Dr. Marcus' diary. "There is only one room here and there is no other way out." Billy said.

At this moment, Javier's head was hit by a rock, and then he looked up and saw that there was a big hole in the ceiling, and it seemed like there was a room above.

Javier jumped up, reached out and grabbed the edge, then climbed up. "You wait for me down here. I'll see if there's a way out."

After that, Javier looked at the room.

There was a computer in front of him. Javier started using it, nothing seemed to be broken. There was a research report and a map of the institute on the table.

It appears this is Umbrella's research facility. After Javier dealt with it, there were a lot of tanks there.

There were many experimental objects inside and there was an instrument at the very end. Javier found a leech specimen inside and casually picked it up.

Then Javier left the room. At this time, he went upstairs. Below was the hallway they came from.

After he flipped the switch, the wall below was opened, revealing a passage. Rebecca and Billy heard the sound and headed towards it.
