The Crown of Sin
Dark disturbances were seemingly being brewed, one after another. Upon hearing news, the matrons became distressed, men prepared for war, and children were kept away from the streets. What came afterward, was the unuttered obvious.
Chaos reigned their lands. soldier after soldier perished, matrons became widows, and seeing a child without their fathers was a common sight to be seen. But then, they came. Warriors, created from the same flesh, blessed by the heavens. They just kept coming. A simply never-ending ocean of heroes, they thought. Soon, the land was filled with these creatures. Most if not all were willing to give a helping hand to those who needed them. They subjugated monsters and hunted the dark forces.
And as simple as that, every single one of these blessed ones, came to be known as The Heaven-Blessed. However, all of that, he did not care. These stories and rumors, to his ears, were nothing but just a common say. His goal in this life of his, the wish of his dying companion, was to live his life to the fullest. The achievements of others do not sway his heart to do so as well. The only single excrement of wish he wanted,
"Let me experience this joy of life that I have never experienced in the world below..."
But that, no matter how one saw that, was an impossible thing for one such as he.
