Rose continue staring at Leon's back till she can't see him anymore. Her bright eyes looked deep like an endless space. It's very beautiful and is hard to guess what she's thinking.

" He's... dangerous, grandpa. " Rose finally averted her eyes as she said that.

The way she spoke this time was definitely different from before when she's talking to Leon. She's speaking like an adult despite her cute voice. And another noticeable thing was that, her grandfather, Arthur doesn't looked surprise at all or bothered about it. Its like, he's already used to her talking like this. .

Her answer did made Arthur's brows raised a bit though.

" Dangerous? What do you mean? Have you seen something about that young man, Elen? "

" Just call me Rose, grandpa. Stop complicating things. "

Arthur knew his granddaughter quite well, especially her 'gift', which made him surprised about what she said just now.

" I'm not sure. " Rose shakes her small head before giving one pack of candies to her grandfather Arthur. " Please open it for me, grandpa. "

" Okay. " Arthur received the candy and tore it open before giving it back to Rose, which she happily accepted. " Then what made you think that he's dangerous? "

Arthur is a seasoned veteran (not Army related) who had experienced plenty of ups and downs in life. He can of course see that there's definitely something special to Leon but can't tell what exactly so he decided to asked her granddaughter instead as he also believed in her abilities.

" Because... I can't see through him at all, grandpa. That's what made him dangerous. " Rose replied. With a cute expression on her face, she put a small candy inside her mouth and started enjoying its taste. " I like him though. "

Arthur frowned again, he started thinking about things. He finally realized how wrong he was about Leon. It seems like he is still underestimating his value...

It was still fine if he can't see through that young man, but if even her granddaughter can't see through him? That's a bit... sick.

Arthur let out a depressed sigh. The calm and composed expression he's wearing before vanished and was changed by a pitiful one. Like someone who had been wronged.

" Why didn't you tell me about this earlier then, Rose? You did this on purpose, didn't you? "

*giggles*

Rose covered her mouth with her hands before laughing cutely. " Because I know you will try to take him as your disciple again, grandpa. Hmph! I won't let you. Won't let you touch my p-pwey! Eeh? She's waking up already? "

Arthur smiled wryly. Just like what he thought.

" Probably because you are eating her chocolates. " Arthur shake his head as he looked at the direction Leon and his father headed to and sighed.

" Hmph! It's only one piece. "

" Doesn't matter. "

Back to Leon's side.

It's already past 11 pm when Leon and Victor finally returned to their house.

But before arriving here, the two first stopped on a small building more than a couple of miles away from their house.

Victor explained that this is one of the warehouses he rented and told Leon to bring out the goods they bought earlier. He will come back here tomorrow and will take care of everything.

Leon didn't asked anything and did exactly what his father told him to do. He took out the corns, chili peppers and sweet potatoes from his storage ring and put everything on the side. Only after that did they leave the place and went home.

When they arrived, Christina immediately approached them and hugged her son worriedly. Seeing that Leon is fine, Christina turned her head to her husband, Victor, which made him sweat heavily.

Leon can see his mother staring daggers to his father, she's obviously angry. She did not sleep yet, obviously waiting for the two of them to comeback. When she saw how her son looked so tired and sleepy, she frowned.

Christina first asked them if they already had their dinner and Victor replied 'yes' immediately which made the frown on Christina's face loosened a bit.

Leon hugged his mother back. It's only been a day but he honestly missed her already and he didn't know why. " Mom, I'm already sleepy. See you tomorrow. "

" Oh, sure. You go and sleep. I still have to talk to your father. " replied Christina. She emphasize also the 'talk' and 'father' words which made Victor's body trembled a bit. He knew that he's doomed so he started to prepare himself mentally, praying that his wife will go easy on him.

Leon didn't bother his parents anymore and immediately went inside his room to sleep. He knows that his father was in a pinch this time. His mother will definitely not let his father off so easily but he didn't care. It's not for a child like him to think of, after all.

Entering his room, he immediately climbed onto his bed and fell asleep.

The next day.

" Mommy, why is Leon still not here yet? Should we go to their house and see him instead? I want to see Leon now. " Carla said to Pauline.

She's there sitting on the stairs in front of their door while looking outside their gates, waiting for her best friend to arrive.

Carla's wearing a plain white blouse, black shorts and white shoes. She looked so adorable and cute with her outfit.

Standing behind Carla was her mother, Pauline fixing her hair. Just like her daughter, Pauline is also wearing similar outfit. Plain white blouse, black shorts and white shoes. With her beautiful appearance and mature body, Pauline looked like a fairy in mortals clothing!

Pauline smiled after hearing her daughter's words. She clearly knew how close her daughter to Leon so she can somehow understand her behaving like this. " Your auntie Christy told me yesterday that they will be the one to come here, Carla. Let's just wait for them, okay? "

" Um.. Okay mommy. "

Carla continue looking outside the gate.

She didn't see Leon yesterday so she missed him already. After all, the two of them were always together everyday, playing with each other or doing things they both find interesting.

Leon also tend to do everything she wants and dotes on her a lot so Carla can't help but to feel lonely when she can't see him for a whole day.

Minutes slowly passed by.

And soon, a jeepney stopped a few meters away from their gates. When Carla spotted the person who came out from it, her eyes lit up.

She grabbed her pink bag and immediately stood up and run towards the gate.

" Leon! "

Seeing her daughter like that, Pauline can only smile wryly before following her. " Be careful with your footsteps, Carla. " she reminded her.

Leon just got off from the jeepney when he heard that very familiar sweet voice calling his name. Lifting his head, he saw a very adorable girl coming out from the gate in a hurry before running towards him.

'This girl, *sigh* she looked so cute though.' Leon opened his arms and caught Carla. He then hugged her tightly.

" I missed you, Carla. " he whispered on her ear.

Carla also hugged Leon happily. " Me too, I missed Leon a lot! "

" No. I missed my Carla more. "

" Really?! "

" Mn. Really. "

Then he gave the adorable girl a kiss on her chubby cheeks which made her giggle.

Seeing them like that, Pauline and Christina looked at each other before also smiling.

" Did we made you wait for a long time? " Christina asked as she walks to Pauline.

Pauline chuckled softly. " You're joking sister Christy, you are even 30 minutes earlier than the time we both agreed yesterday. "

" Mn. But I know it will be like this again so we came early. "

" You know me really well, sister Christy. "

" Of course. "

The two of them then started conversing with each other as well.

After hugging Carla for awhile, Leon finally let her go and looked at her from head to toe. " Wow, you looked so cute, Carla. "

" Really? " Carla smiled happily. She felt very happy hearing Leon complimenting her.

" Mn, very cute. Carla is really the cutest girl in the world! "

" You're very welcome. " Leon then held Carla's left hand before he turned his head to his mother and Pauline. And as he did that, Leon became stunned.

His eyes was forcefully pulled into Pauline.

'So..... beautiful.' he thought.

As if noticing his gaze, Pauline also looked at him and smiled. That smile KOed Leon, it's really a very huge blow for him.

' Damn it. I've... fallen. '

Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, Leon smiled back at Pauline and said, " Good morning, auntie Pauline. You looked very beautiful, as always. "
