The formation's first visible part is the large translucent dome. Even the Divine Plane Consummate cultivators who are watching this, could only see that blurry image of what is happening inside.

Their divine sense are not penetrating it. 

To be more precise, it is penetrating but even those sense are only detected some blurry image.

The second visible part is the connection between the dome and the wall.

The laser turrets shot the beams into the formation and the beams spread over the dome like an intricate spider web. At the junctions of the spider web, there is a concentration of light mass. They didn't understand the purpose or the function of the light mass, but they had a very ominous feeling.

As for the shadows, they could see a lot more.
