Sandhya kept thinking about what her mom said.
She kept on imagining what the outside world would be like and how she might survive it. And in all of her possible experiences, she kept on thinking about Sam. After all, he is the only connection she has to the outside world and it is hard for her to not keep him away from those experiences.
Of course, Sam didn't care for it that much.
The next morning, they all gathered for the disaster to strike. Sam had launched a myriad of flying puppets that locked on the whole mountain range. Keeping a constant watch to make sure no anomaly will pass by.
After the sun rose, they all felt that it is a bit brighter than every other day. It is a bit warmer and the people of the city felt blessed because of that.
The warmth of the sun and the brightness of the day, which they don't often see felt like a blessing.
Of course, Sam was as usual and didn't think that naively. He knew better than that.
