RDR2: Elijah Jackson

The story is mainly canon, with me adding some new things, such as characters, dialogues, 'missons', and such things...Maybe a crossover of other games, who knows? I'm writing this for my own pleasure and enjoyment, but if you like it, good for you. If I get one star reviews, I'll shamelessly delete it. tags: Red Dead Redemption, Re Dead Redemption 2, Arthur Morgan, Dutch Van Der Linde, Hosea Matthews, John Marston, Micah Bell, Bill Williamson, Charles Smith, Jack Marston, Javier Escuella, Lenny Summers, Sean MacGuire, Karen Jones, Abigail Marston, Mary-Beth Gaskill, Sadie Adler, Uncle, Tilly Jackson, Elijah Jackson, Male OC Character(s), Female OC character(s), loyalty, loyal to Dutch, brotherhood, father-son relationship(s), outlaws, crimes, robberies, bank robberies, kidnapping, blackmail, murder, guns, betrayal, heist, cheating

Micah's Arrested

Elijah: Good shot....Let's go.

They finally leave the house, and fast, go back to camp, where they bring the news of not being able to sell the jewelry because they were set up. Elijah also praised Clementine to Dutch; Dutch praised her as well, and said that if Elijah thinks she was good, then he believes him.

Elijah also told Abigail to patch up Louis, who got lucky and the bullet went straight through without hitting any major blood vessel or artery...Or at least Elijah thought so, he's not a doctor. If it did, Louis might be dead already.

As it wasn't near until night yet, he Elijah thought he should go into town and look for a job or an opportunity at least.

He mounts Dusty once again, much to her annoyance. She snorted unhappily. To Elijah it doesn't matter what anyone says; he thinks he has the most lazy horse every. Despite that, he still loves her very much. He found her abandoned, dirty, malnourished, when she was just about a few months old; it was a miracle honestly that she stayed alive.

He rode into town, while feeding a carrot and an apple to Dusty.

Elijah: Here you go, girl.

As he got into town, he dismounted her, and tied her to a pole. He walked around, not knowing where to start, as he asked around for jobs already.

He walks through the muddy road aimlessly for a few minutes before deciding to head inside the bar, and buy himself a shot of whiskey. As he was drinking, he heard the door open again, and as always, he looked at the person who came inside.

A young black man in his early 20s, wakes up in the middle of a dusty road, surrounded by tall mountains and unfamiliar wildlife. As he takes in his surroundings, he realizes that he is no longer in Los Santos, but in a world that feels like something out of a history book.

Franklin: What the fuck?

He, Michael, Trevor and some other guys were robbing the Union Depository. Gus and Franklin split up after digging the hole in the wall, and fighting off the SWAT, then he met up with Mike and Packie, but as they were moving and shooting on the bridge or whatever, he got shot.

He remembers the pain of getting shot in his neck, he remembers the blood spurting in the air as he fall straight down onto his back. He saw Michael quickly kneeling next to him with eyes wide, and putting his gloves hand on his wound, and keep saying his name and to not fall asleep, as Packie was holding off the cops; shouting to Michael to get a move on.

After a minute or so, Frank's eyes started fluttering, wanting to go to sleep. The last thing he heard was Michael apologising and running off. Franklin doesn't blame Michael, he would have ran off too. So he died, at the age of 25.

But now...he's alive?

He looked around and, it seemed like he was in the 1800s? He didn't study ever in Davis high, so he doesn't know history very much. He got off the road, and sat on the side, and sat there for who knows how long. Then he saw a man pass by with a horse and wagon; the white man looked at Franklin with frown, showing his dislike for his skin color, which solidified his theory of being in this year.

He got on his feet, and started heading the way the man went.

That's how he found himself in Valentine, and heading inside a bar he found himself at.

------//------

Elijah looks at the young man coming inside, wearing a dirty white shirt, black jeans, and a pair of boots.

He looked around with a, kind of a astonished look, but the disguising gaze didn't escape Elijah's.

Elijah: Hey! (Points at Franklin) Come here!

Franklin looks behind him, and seeing that no ones there, he knew Elijah spoke to him, so he went over there.

Elijah: (to the bartender) Give me another one, and to the boy here next to me as well.

Elijah: So, I haven't seen you 'round here, kid.

Franklin: Uh...I'm...kinda new here, dawg.

Elijah: Dog?

Franklin: I mean, brother.

Elijah: Ah.

The bartender puts two glasses of whiskey on the counter.

Elijah: I'm Elijah. (Puts his hand out)

Franklin: (Shakes Elijah's hand) I'm Franklin.

They both sip from the whiskey.

Elijah: So, what do you do?

Franklin: Huh?

Elijah: Do you have job? What do you do? Farmer?

Franklin: No...Uh, I don't have one.

Elijah: Oh...(sigh) I see.

Franklin: Is that a problem?

Elijah: Nah...I'm looking for 'work'

Franklin raises his head in interest.

Franklin: 'Work', you say...I did my fair share of 'work'....

Elijah: (raises eyebrows) So you're telling me like nothing...what if I'm the law?

Franklin: (scoff) You're not. I can tell, easy.

Elijah chuckles.

They continue to drink 2 more, and talk. After that, they split up, and Elijah mounts Dusty and head, home trusting her to take him home.

He arrives back to the camp, and before he could go and drink a mug of coffee, he sees Lenny running where Dutch and Arthur are.

Lenny: They got Micah! Dutch! Arthur!

Lenny runs toward the two. Seeing the panic on the boy, Elijah decides to head over as well.

Dutch: What's going on?

Lenny: They got Micah. He's-He's been arrested for murder...He was in Strawberry...

Elijah: (Puts hand on shoulder.) It's okay, son; calm down.

Lenny let's out a big breath.

Lenny: They nearly lynched me....They got Micah in the sheriff's in Strawberry. And there's talk of hanging him.

Arthur: Here's hoping.

Dutch: Arthur!

Arthur: What? The fool brought this on himself. You know my feelings about him Dutch.

Dutch: You think I can't see past his bluster to the heart inside? He's a fine man.

Arthur: I ain't savin him.

Elijah: Don't worry...I'll go get him.

Dutch puts a hand on Elijah's shoulder.

Dutch: Thank you, son.

Elijah: Well...I just hope he'd do the same for me.

Dutch: Trust me. He would.

Elijah nods, then looks at Arthur, and calls out for Lenny.

Elijah: Meanwhile...why don't you two go out and get some drink for yourselves?

Dutch: (nods) That's a good idea. Arthur go with Lenny boy, and relax a bit.

Elijah: (to Dutch) Before I go get Micah...I'll go with Arthur, Javier and Charles, and rescue Sean.

Dutch: (shakes head a bit) They'll be fine. You know how Arthur is, Hell take care of it. I'm asking you, to get Micah out before it's too late.

Elijah studies Dutch's face before nodding.

Elijah: Yessir.

Dutch: Thank you, Elijah.

Dutch goes back into his tent with Molly, and Elijah goes to make the coffee he's been wanting to drink. He does so, pours a mug for himself, and sips it as he wanders around camp.

He looks around, then sees that Tilly is not around for some reason, but then, just as he thought about her, she comes out of her tent with bed hair. He chuckles, and pours her a mug of coffee as well. He goes over and hands it to her.

Elijah: Slept well, Tilly.

Tilly: Uh...just fine. I think.

Elijah: (chuckles) Well...I think you should fix your hair before anything. I think Ms. Grimshaw won't like it.

She takes out a small mirror and looks at herself. She smiles and nods.

Tilly: Thanks.

She fixes it with her hand, and to his surprise, it actually worked. How?

It never works for him.

Elijah: (jokingly) Teach me your ways, Tilly.

Tilly laughs a bit. They sit around, drinking their coffee, and talking. Flirting enters the conversation as well sometimes, but they don't really notice it, just comes naturally.

As they talk, he sees that Lenny and Arthur get on their own horses, and head out together.

Elijah: You know, what? Let's go somewhere.

Tilly: Where?

Elijah: Just somewhere.

Tilly: (shrugs) Okay.

Elijah: By the way...(playfully) you don't mind going somewhere with a fat man like me, right?

Tilly: (laughs) Oh, I don't. I already got used to you.

Elijah: Ow...wow. You should have said I'm not fat, just as the book dictates.

Tilly laughs again.

Elijah mounts Dusty after politely takes Tilly by the waist and helps her on the horse. She didn't object; of course he knows she's not the type of woman to be pampered and things like that, he just wants to be gentleman.

Tilly also knows that Elijah is not a gentleman, only to the women in the gang, so she gladly accepts his help.

When they are comfortable on the horse, and Tilly holds onto his waist, they head off, after bidding bye to Charles, who's the guard currently outside of camp.
