Our First Quest

[Day 8]

Mr. Yi: "This will be your Faction room", Mr. Yi opened up the door and in it was an almost empty white room.

Mr. Yi: "It's not much right now but if you guys work hard it'll improve"

Mr. Yi: "Here we have your quest board, I will be picking the quest from the faction office myself, feel free to do whichever you want first".

We all gathered around the board and looked through the quest posted.

BaekGi: "Collect 20 pieces of silver feather"

Arinael: "Collect 15 pieces of flame iron"

Vasi: "Are there any minimum amount of quests that should be done?"

Mr. Yi: "Well, as long as you finish 5 quests per week there shouldn't be any problems, after all, there are no incidents of a Faction getting in trouble for not doing Faction Quests"

Minzie: "If we complete a quest we will be rewarded right?"

Mr. Yi: "Correct, but the compensation comes in the form of Faction Gold, which can only be used for Faction related expenses"

Minzie: "So we will be working for the University to furnish our Faction Room?"

Niira: "Min!"

Mr. Yi: "Haha, that's one way to say it Ms. Minzie, oh and also, as you do more quest your Faction Impact increases, and at the same time your Faction Rank goes up".

Minzie: "And let me guess, certain ranks have their privileges".

Mr. Yi: "Not exactly, it's one way for the University to assess what kind of events you can safely participate"

Minzie: "Safely?"

Mr. Yi just gave me a smile, which made me really worried. Just what kind of events will be not safe for new Factions? Before I could ask Mr. Yi again, Niira pulled me by the hand.

Niira: "Min, go choose our first quest"

Minzie: "What? why me?"

Niira: "Just do it"

Vasi: "Just give what Niira want Min"

They all laughed and cheered while I was in the middle of a crisis, come on you can't just push the fate of our Faction on my random choice.

Minzie: "Fine how about this, collecting 6 lucky clovers"

Niira: "Picking flowers for the first quest?"

Minzie: "Well it's a good start, you know they're supposed to be lucky"

Nirra: "Yes! I love it, let's go, team"

Arinael: "Aye aye Leader!"

BaekGi: "Let's go!"

Vasi: "Wait, where are we supposed to go?"

Niira: "Hmm? it says here that they're found in the dark woods..."

Arinael: "The dark woods is dark"

Minzie: "You think so?"

Arinael: "Oh Min, always such a meanie"

Minzie: "Let's go, we have our almighty Deputy Leader with us so we don't have to worry right, Arinael?"

Arinael: "That's more like it, let's go and pick those clovers!"

A few moments later, we're now in front of the dark woods.

Mr. Yi: "Here we are in the dark woods, I can't join you guys in the actual search for the clovers but I wish you guys the best of luck. I'll meet you all at the Faction room later"

We stared at Mr. Yi's back as he walked away from our location.

BaekGi: "We're really gonna do this alone?"

Arinael: "Oh come on Gi, we're already here, let's go in"

Vasi: "Won't it be dangerous though?"

I sighed heavily, gathering all my courage I rushed in the woods leaving my faction mates behind.

Niira: "Min wait! Don't go in by yourself, come on guys we can't let her go in there alone"

I kept running inside the woods with my faction mates behind me.

Arinael: "Min, for a Scholar you have quite the stamina", she said in between breaths.

Minzie: "Nope, I'm actually over my limit since earlier"

Vasi: "Then why? *huff"

Minzie: "I don't know, I just feel like we're gonna find something plus you guys would've not come in if I didn't run to the woods"

While I, Vasi and Arinael kept running, Niira and BaekGi decided to stay behind to catch a breather.

We passed by many trees until we found a spot where there were only a few withered trees and big bushes. One of the bushes suddenly rustled which startled all of us, and besides, it was the plant we're looking for, lucky clover.

I inched forward trying to keep an eye on the bush, stretched my arms out to the plant. When I was already gonna pull it, a hand emerged from the bush making me jump back and the two behind me scream in fear.

Minzie: "Show yourself!"

Girl: "Oh? I'm sorry, did I scare you?", a girl came out from the bush, her braided hair was messy, leaves and twigs were stuck in between.

Girl: "Oh sorry, you were also looking for this?", she raised the clover up and to my surprise, she had 5 more in her arms.

Minzie: "Y-yeah, we need 6 of those"

Girl: "Oh, I actually found a lot of these over there but I got chased out by a bean mouse"

Niira: "We heard someone shout, what happened?"

BaekGi: "Who's she?"

Girl: "The name is Chubs-, I mean Nita, but people call me Chubs"

Minzie: "I see, well hello Chubs do you need some help on uh" I pointed to her head.

Chubs: "Ah yes please"

After we removed everything that got stuck on Nita's head, we headed out to the place she mentioned. I guess this quest wasn't lucky at all.
