"Watching from the near is also a form of entertainment you see, though it comes with some risks" Abyss replied
"For example, most of the wind slashes that aims at you somehow ended up to my location as, and the moment you feel you are safe to watch from the different branch you find yourself greeted by flying logs of trees...Kuro you should be mindful of your audience or no one will ever want to come to watch."
" I… I don't care, I just wanted to confirm if I am going to burn away one last person before I head for my dinner" Kuro threatened Abyss
"That doesn't sound very feminine of you Kuro" Abyss snides it off jokingly.
"But…Do u think you can put a scratch on me?"
Kuro stays silent for a moment while keeping a close eye on Abyss.
"Try it then"
Kuro charged herself with Prussian dive and assault Abyss with a tremendous speed.
But to her surprise, her spear was stopped by the bare middle finger of Abyss and the flame surrounding her body suddenly vanishes.
"Huh? What just happened..all my magic just disappeared in an instant" Kuro wonders in disbelief.
"No this doesn't feel like nullification magic used by that crappy old man…all of a sudden, a strange power dominated over me and submerged all my magic..."
"Calm down little girl, you are a hundred years early to try on me" Abyss narrowed his eyes and gave a forceful look.
. Kuro instantly jumps out returning to her original state and tries to regain her composure.
"Who are you? You don't possess the aura of a normal human? Kuro demanded.
"Oh me? I just happened to be a lonely guy who loves to wander..but if we are talking about our nature...I am more natural than an elf who contracts with a demon" Abyss mockingly replied.
"Don't fret I just came here to track a certain magic but got distracted by a brawl that was more interested than this boring event"

Yes….and my sensor tells me it is far ahead from here
"Sensor?" Kuro asked in confusion.
"What magic source are u talking about...I can't sense anything other than you here"
"Well come here…. let me show you something"
Kuro gave an uneasy look to Abyss and her body language tells him how much she doesn't trust him.
"Is fine...remember I am not of a fan of going all out to fight at this age...if not that fight would have been ended in a second."
Kuro decided to take a small chance and approaches Abyss with a vigilant. After stepping close to him, Abyss conjures a vague black shield and envelops them. Beside her, she can see traces of small fire flames on the ground.
The magic was similar to the demon she killed earlier but it was more intense and stronger. She was confused how can't she notice such a strong aura which is beside her all this time.
"Most high demons can hide the presence when they're not using their power…the one u killed earlier was mediocre compared to this one."
Abyss then expand his shield and let it disappears showing them a few more of the footsteps that lead to the north of the forest.
"Umm…I couldn't care about the name but that Imp uttered the name "Karen" before he disintegrates.
"Oh, he must be probably referring to your best friend in Chronicles.
"Who?
"I'm sure you are quite familiar with her… Selene.
"Wait..how...? you mean all these times that bitch, who loves to snopes around Selene and thrive for attention is none other than a she-demon?? I dun find it hard to believe though. But how do u figure it out."
"Yesterday when I did my little visit...I sense some unnatural magic aura in your aura..so I did a small investigation" Abyss explained.
"Ahh yeah," Kuro quickly realized what Abyss is referring to.
When Abyss visited last night in Chronicles, he has already seen the true identity behind Selene after he confirmed it further by scanning with his magic… then why didn't you watch take her out in front of everyone… I'm sure with you even a demon like her won't pose much threat." Kuro asked a reasonable question.
"There were two magic sources one of hers and one…. over here..." Abyss lowers his gaze upon the footprints in front of them.
"If I act there the other one will likely escape"
" So, you mean these two demons are working together?
"Most likely and those poor orcs were part of their scheme..but I can't seem to identify the real objective of this one... the tracks seem to be disappearing at certain points and appears again at different location…maybe it is looking for something.
"Math is not my forte so I will leave it to you-" Kuro said.
"umm..is not Maths.. it is hmmm" Abyss tries his best to come up with the right term
"Yeah... interrogation…and I also don't like Maths either... I will make my way to the north while you return and keep a close eye on Selene... she will probably be shocked to see you but act normally.
" ehhh…I want my onnigiri."

At the deepest part of Lymedia forest, there is an unexplored place where no one even dare to step in,the mysterious guy from last night who was talking with the demon lord, Imfoxy at the arena through his weird communication device comes out from the shadow.
He wears a metal crest on his right shoulder, a crest that is only worn by the demon lord commanders of the Scorched lands.
As he slowly walks the open field, from the bushes a baby deer comes out. the joe big charming eyes stare right into the guy.
"Oh! ~ aren't you a cutie" the guy with swaggy hair blushes. He then bends and opens his hand towards the approaching deer.
"Come here, little one," he said in a very soothing voice.
The joe approaches slowly, then from the bushes, a deer comes and jumps out followed by more and more from behind.
"Ah...did you bring out your friends?" He rubs the head of the joe slowly, "nice~" He smirked.
All the creatures residing in that zone slowly come out and gather around him. the reason is probably that it is their first time encountering a human after a long time.
As all the animals start to gather at the center, he stood up and walks back.
"Aye everyone, please be nice and gather there like good boys and girls." He spoke.
The joe and the rest of his friends look at the mysterious guy with a confused face.
The guy then let out an evil smirk and suddenly spam his hand against the ground.
"Shall we start then?"
he starts to create a large rune on the ground and quickly entraps all the animals inside it in a big magic circle.
"Bye-bye friends, thanks for your help!" He shouts and waves toward the engaged animals with a big cheerful smile.
As the magic circle starts to glow, the flesh in the animals starts to disintegrate. The animals roar and scream in agony but within a minute all of them disappear leaving only behind their skeletons and bone.
The guy in the velvet cloak starts focusing his spell on his two-finger.
Then from the circle, an enormous portal emerges out filled with a whirlwind of crimson magic. the ground tremors as the portal finally stood like a monolithic figure in the middle of the forest.
"Aye, the big guy is time for you to come out" he utters while maintaining a firm posture.
A huge giant claw comes out from the gate shaking the ground in its wake and slowly a gigantic head appears with two fearsome red eyes …the beast roars as it brings out its two gigantic tattered wings while destroying the gate in the process…
The beast looks up and triumphantly roars, Shaking the forest and driving away all the creatures in the zone, Cynnedrin the Scorching wing has been summoned.
He then thrashes his wing on the ground and ascends slowly, then with a huge cry the Scorchwing fly to the north where it is driven by a signal at a tremendous speed.
"Phew my job here is done…searching for a suitable ground was hard but-
With this my primary objective is done..now all I need to do is watch and babysit his pet...I'm sure Imfoxy must have been aware of it" by saying that the mysterious red hair guy walks in the direction where the beast flew."
