Raven Online: Unique Class 'Cultivator/Dual-Cultivator'

[Mature Content, Viewer Discretion is Advised] Raven Online (RO) is a VRMMORPG that was recently released in the year 2030 on Earth. A weak, yet handsome 19-Year-Old, Arthur Clarke, has saved enough from his part-time job to buy and play Raven Online. Arthur already has the Golden-Edition VR Helmet, all that was left is to buy the game. Arthur has heard the rumors that you can earn in-game money in RO and transfer it to your real-life bank account. That’s the biggest reason why he decided to buy RO. It was to help his poor family; his widowed mother, little brother, and his big step-sister while doing his part-time job, along with having fun in RO. After buying RO, Arthur started it up and started registering, until he received a notification [Congratulations! You are the 69,000th player to register in Raven Online!] [You have been given a unique class: ‘Cultivator/Dual-Cultivator’ in Raven Online as a reward!] [Do you accept? Yes/No] He was surprised at the sudden notification, he hasn’t heard anything like this. He then decided to press ‘Yes’ to start his adventure. Arthur didn’t know that accepting this class would change his whole life in every way. Read “Raven Online: Unique Class ‘Cultivator/Dual-Cultivator’” to enjoy a light-hearted, action-packed, Slice-Of-Life with a bit of mystery. **This novel was inspired by some novels. Pre-Ordering

[Welcome, ArthurClarke17]

[Games] | [Apps] | [Clips] | [Store]

--------------------------------------------------------------

Arthur loaded up his VR and was greeted with the usual start up menu.

Arthur selected [Store] because he figured to pre-order the game and wait until it releases.

Arthur then went to the [Games Coming Soon] tab, then immediately saw [Raven Online], since it was trending like no other game. He clicked on RO and selected "Pre-Order now". The VR game cost $199.99 which made Arthur frown.

Arthur didn't like leaving his credit card information on websites so he always deletes them right after. So, he had to input his card information once again.

After Arthur input the information and selected [preorder] he received a confirmation of the order.

[You have Pre-Ordered "Raven Online" for $212.99. You can view the release timer in your [Games] tab, or you could watch videos and you'll receive a notification when it's ready"]

After preordering, he took his information off and logged out the VR to check his current balance.

Arthur always did this after every purchase of any kind because he liked to keep track of these things.

Arthur took off the headset and pulled out his phone. He tapped on his bank application and it displayed Arthur's savings, checking and his recent orders.

....

[Clarke, Arthur]

[Savings: $1,500.00]

[Checking: $11, 232.17]

[Recent Orders:

RAVEN ONLINE - $212.99 (now)

TRANSFER: CLARKE, AMELIA - $800.00 (2d)

HOTFLIX - $15.96 (3d)]

....

Arthur sighed. Although he knew that it might be worth it in the long run, it still hurt to see his balance go down.

Arthur shook his head and logged out and closed the app. He put his phone on the nightstand next to his bed, and decided to head to the bathroom.

Arthur opened the door and turned on the lights, he did his business, washed his hands.

After a minute, he went back to the room and put on his VR helmet and lied down.

Arthur pressed the power button and selected [Apps] and scrolled down until he saw [Internet] and opened it.

Arthur decided it would be best to learn a bit about RO before logging in. He closed a few suspicious tabs and searched "What can I expect in Raven Online" and showed the results.

He clicked on their official website which was owned by "RavenIndustries". There were multiple articles to choose from, but he selected a video that showed a guy explaining about the game.

The guy's name was Evan Parker and he was the CEO of 'RavenIndustries'. He went through an overview of the main/sub classes, the world, the "Gods" and "Residents" and other things that made Arthur a bit interested.

Arthur first reviewed the information that he had seen.

Firstly, there were main-classes and subclasses. Every player starts out with a common main class. Which are Knight, Martial Artist, Archer, Mage, Medic, and Assassin.

After they level up until a certain point, that class will evolve based on the user's experiences. Those would include blessings that have been given by Gods, skills and titles. However, they would be given certain evolution paths to take, instead of forcing them to take a certain path.

Classes were ranked from "Common" to "Mythical". Those ranks were Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythical. However, player classes would evolve from Common to Epic before they have to find Legendary and Mythical quests to grow stronger. There could only be 1 player for each Legendary and Mythical Class.

Having said all this, there was still a rank that was mentioned but wasn't on the list. That was the "Unique" class that would be given out by the Gods and/or Residents, although players would just call them NPC's. Once they receive the class, they wouldn't be able to change it.

Some might think that the Unique classes are better than the Legendary and Mythical ranked classes but that all depended on the God/Resident and player. The reason why it wasn't on the class rankings was because the classes are unpredictable. It solely depended on how the user used the class.

Let's give an example. If player A received a unique class from a Low-Ranked God, and player B receives a unique class from a High-Ranked god. If player A used all the advantages of his/her class, and player B didn't. Then player A would be way stronger than player B, leaving player B behind.

You could also say that if player B didn't use his class to the fullest, then he would be significantly weaker than some Legendary and Mythical class players.

This world, or Raven Online, is how you make of it and if you want to be successful, whether it be wealth, status or power, you would have to make every second count.

Subclasses were given out at level 10 and users can choose a variety of choices based on their personal experiences. They didn't have ranks like Main Classes because most of them were occupational.

Players with certain subclasses can open stores and make and sell items to other players and residents.

The reason why this option exists is because not every player would like to kill mobs, complete quests etc...

This made many people excited for the game because they could use their skills from real-life and open shops to earn extra money, which they could transfer to their real-life bank account. Arthur was especially excited for this.

After Arthur viewed a little bit of the Main/SubClasses, he skipped the video to where it said "Content Creators". Arthur figured he'll learn more about the world, Gods/Residents in the game.

When Arthur skipped to "Content Creators", it talked about how players could stream and/or create videos on the game and upload it to their favorite sites. Players who would upload pre-recorded videos could save them to their computers and edit them and upload them.

While people who wanted to stream could set up their settings in-game and press the [Stream Now] button and it'll directly stream to their selected streaming platform.

Arthur could do a little bit of both, but he liked streaming more. Arthur had a lot of friends and enjoyed talking to people so he thought that when he got to a certain point, he'd start streaming and develop an audience.

Arthur had another reason for this and that was to earn money from subscriptions and donations. Arthur was once again thinking about how to earn more money.

After Arthur reviewed a bit of the information learned from the video, he opened his [Games] tab and looked at the progress of RO.

[23:11]

Arthur still had 23 minutes before he could start the game. So he decided to set up a streaming account on "StreamWorld". Arthur created a fresh new account and had problems creating a username.

It took him a few minutes before he gave up and went with a mixture of his first and last name

....

[Arke - Available]

[Confirm? Yes/No]

....

Arthur was surprised that it wasn't taken. Arthur always had troubling naming things because every username he came up with would already be taken. Nonetheless, he was glad.

Arthur still had to wait until the game was finished, so he went to [Stream World] application and watched one of his favorite streamers [Ice Matriarch].

Arthur liked watching Ice Matriarch because she gave off a cold, but friendly vibe and she was really good at video games. Everyone was also friendly in chat and wasn't toxic compared to other streamers.

One of the things Arthur could relate to was that he was also good at video games though he stopped playing for a while.

When Arthur's father was alive he would play video games all the time, and that even increased when he died because video games would be an escape for him.

This all stopped after his stepfather went to jail and Arthur dropped out of High School and got a part-time job.

He figured that he could be pretty decent at it if he picked it back up again, and Raven Online was the perfect opportunity.

After losing track of time, Arthur received a notification in the top right corner of his screen

[Raven Online: Ready to Play!]

Arthur immediately closed the stream and application, and started up Raven Online.

[Welcome to Raven Online!]
