"The room was colder and the more steps I took in, the more ice-cold the room froze."

"The room lights were off, leaving everything and myself lost in darkness. I could barely see anything not even my own body in the darkness."

"The room reeked the smell of the dead but since I couldn't see anything I just kept pushing myself forward, looking for the switch to turn the lights on."

"The more steps I took, the more I felt chills down my spine but I couldn't stop my curiosity from running wild."

"With trembling hands, I pulled out a torch from the pockets of my scarf and turned it on, looking around the room."

My jaw dropped when I turned my eyes

At the back, something like a hummer was hanging down up to my head. On both sides, fresh heads of people hung with their eyes wide open. I squeezed the hand on my mouth even tighter when my eyes moved inside the room. I shouted my lungs out as I tried to jump outside the house only to find myself trapped inside the tiny room.

It wasn't like any other room you would find in your home. Instead of a costly sofa set, a television, or even an expensive mattress, this room had no floor in it. It was a pit filled with headless bodies of people. I moved the torch slowly, observing how scary the room was. Many corpses were lying in the pit without heads, hands, or legs.

"What the fuck happened in this place?" I murmured weakly to myself as I continued to move the torch around, my eyes almost popped out of the socket when my eyes met with someone's eyes in the corner of the room. Blood flowed from the corner of his eyes. I walked while grunting in fear, my legs shaking, I managed to push them until I reached the corner. This was beyond terrifying but I had no other choice other than to find the way out. I heard Nick and Nigel knocking on the door. "Don't think about coming inside. I'm okay." I shouted at them. "But we've heard you shout." They replied. "I'm okay." I sighed, trying to sound strong but in actual senses, I was shaking in and out.

I heard roaring sounds coming from the ceiling and my fear rose instantly. I slowly turned my feet and focused the touch light on the hole in the ceiling. A black cloud moved from the ceiling, down to the dead bodies and skeletons and then it started moving in my orientation. I flinched but I didn't move any single part of my body. I froze on the ground like a statue and dared not even blink my eyes. This is becoming more like a horror movie where the protagonist is stuck in a haunted house waiting for the antagonist to save her from the devil spirit.

I stood confidently in front of the cloud, holding back the pee that threatened to burst my bladder the second I made a sound or made a move forward, determined not to let it detect my fear. I was scared to the core with layers of cold sweat on my face. I have read thousands of books about the human world but I never came across notes about this thing. I had no idea how to save myself from trouble BUT I had one thing on my mind_I had to get my black ass out of this hell-like place alive no matter the consequences.

"How dare you trespass in my territory?" It's a horse demon voice questioned as the black cloud surrounded me. The intimidation was seeping out of it as it spoke.

"..."

I didn't reply to anything and just squeezed my eyes shut. I didn't want to see it anymore. It was terrifying.

"Seems that I have to force that mouth open." It laughed hysterically. I stumbled backward, losing control over my body, and before I knew it I was on the ground.

I screamed as my hand touched something as cold as ice. I tried to jump away but I couldn't move any part of my body.

I heard the door opening but I couldn't even turn my head. "Nobody is allowed inside," I commanded but to my horror, I heard footsteps walking in my direction confidently as if they were familiar with the place.

"You've got some bad Aiden. You still call yourself a man after trapping a weak lady in this stupid maze. I dare you to show yourself as a man." I heard Raven's cold voice warning as his footsteps closed the space between me and him.

"Look who is here. How many years has it been since our last meeting?" it chuckled cheekily

"A coward," Raven said, lighting fire at the corner of the house, making the so-called Aiden grunt in pain.

"I will make sure to kill you the next time we meet," Aiden said before he disappeared. I felt my body getting lighter and I could move.

The room turned normal in an instant. An expensive leather black set of sofa in between the room, a golden table with sets of dirty utensils on top as if someone had just served lunch and hadn't cleaned up, and a curtain separating the bedroom from the living room.

My mouth widely opened in disbelief as I tried to calm my wild heart but I couldn't calm down. I desperately looked around the room. Panic in my eyes didn't hide for a second trying to process what was going on. Everything that happened moments back was just an illusion.

"What was that?" I asked aloud.

Raven's eyes narrowed at my question but he didn't say anything. He shook his head with a frown before carrying me into his arms.

"I'm not getting out of here before I know what's going on." I resisted, pushing Raven away from me.

Raven looked at me coldly "Stay still,"

"Either you tell me what's going on or you put me down," I said in a serious tone.

"..."

"Put me down," I struggled.

"Will you stop being stubborn?" he sighed at my childish behavior

He carried me out of the run-down abnormal apartment. We walked to our mates who were walking back and forth with worried faces. Raven dropped me on the ground slamming my fat ass on the hard surface. It happened so fast that I couldn't do anything to stop myself from reaching the ground.

I endured the pain that ran from my ass to my brain as if I had hit my head instead of my ass.

"You motherfucker!" Nigel grunted, running to attack Raven but he dodged his attack, and Nigel fell straight on his face.

Nigel rose to his feet angrily, flexed his neck, and walked over to Raven who was standing like a statue with his hands crossed along his chest. He observed Nigel with a smirk.

"You wouldn't want to fight?" he smirked at the angry Nigel.

"Just a pile of shit pretending to be normal." Nigel fumed

"Bring it on." Raven raised his eyebrows, his hands still crossed around his chest.

Nigel clenched his fist and jumped over Raven. To my surprise, Raven caught Nigel's punch with one arm, turned him around, and placed a knife in his throat.

"I hate playing with amateurs." he hissed, tossing Nigel away.

Who is Raven?

"And you, follow me." he commanded me
