"So uhh... who's this kid? I don't know him." Frisk asks, staring down at Trey.
"Haha... I am the victor of this monster massacre, Trey Morris!" Trey explains to Frisk.
"Morris? That must mean-"
"That's right, I'm Khila's twin brother!" he screamed confidently.
"How're you two doing?" Frisk turned, questioning the current condition of Jason and Khila.
"I'm alright… I just…" Jason stopped, as he tried to emphasize the fact he has injuries and drenched in blood.
"I'm fine too, I don't have any injuries anywhere" Khila pointed out.
"Looks like these boys did a good job protecting you huh?" Frisk laughed. Khila nodded in agreement, as she then began chuckling along with Frisk.
"Yeah! If you don't get some new clothes and wash up, you're gonna be walking around looking like a hobo!" Trey teases.
"We all would have to get ourselves cleaned up. Getting the monsters off of our backs was no easy task, some of the magic council, and soldiers from S.O.U.L are still cleaning out the remaining few" Frisk states.
"Oh, please. Even in the end, that brat still couldn't-"
"We don't need your extra comments, Trey" Khila interrupts, rolling her eyes.
"Whatever..." Trey sighs.
"Frisk! I finally got the hang of my ability!" Jason claims excitedly. "Lets finally begin our training so we can fight more advanced, stronger monsters in the future, and next time I won't lose to any! I'll kill 'em all!" Jason vows. Frisk smirks at him as she knows that now Jason has the hang of using his soul, it takes all the extra weight off their training.
"We will once we reach that spot, But we're not gonna go right away, you're tired" Frisk explains
"Heheh, yeah right I should rest for now. You're more powerful than you look." Jason chuckles.
Frisk shrugs and smirks.
"Well, enough chit-chat, now that this is over, it's time for me and Khila to go home" Trey interrupts as he begins walking away.
"Trey... I don't…" Khila stutters.
"You don't what?" He asks as he turns around and stares at her.
"I don't think I wanna go back home…" She claims.
"Hm… and I guess the change in mind came from this bozo?" Trey asked angrily.
"No… it was my own decision, they were also planning to let me go back home, but once I heard they were gonna go train because Jason was in the same situation I was, I decided to stick with them so I could also get stronger and not need anymore protecting" Khila explained.
"….I don't care… Now let's go" Trey demanded. He grabbed her by the hand and began pulling her away from the group.
"Trey just stop!!" She screamed. Khila slapped Trey in the face, as then they both stood there in the middle of the street.
"I'm tired of being behind! I don't want to be protected, I want to be up there fighting with you! If I was just stronger I could help you fight off threats and stuff like you and Jason… I see what you guys just did with all those monsters and look at him now, sitting here made me feel useless… that's why I need this journey Trey, so you won't have to fight alone anymore!!" She explained, while crying. Everyone stands there waiting in silence, as the situation escalated from 0-100 real quick.
"...hmph... I understand your concern. So I won't boss you around anymore, I care for you too Khila, so I'll come with just to make sure you're alright, I still don't trust him yet" Trey says as he looks away in disappointment.
"You're tagging along too? I hope you brought some money with you" Frisk asked desperately.
"A little but I'm not sharing with brats" Trey claimed.
"Mhmmm okay, but we need to get out of this district, there might be people still looking for me" Frisk explained. The ground began to shake violently and out of the ground, came a row of sharp bones going all the way down the street until it stopped over by the crater.
"What the hell is that?!" Trey yells
"𝑁𝑌𝐸𝐻𝐸𝐻𝐸𝐻𝐸𝐻𝐸!!!" A weird distorted laugh echoed through the district's buildings.
