Ling decided to conquer the Rocky Temple alone, wishing that he can earn numerous monster cores here. If he summed the earnings for two days of playing until now, it was around 100 dollars bringing up the item he collected from the monsters.

Yes, it wasn't that high since his maximum playing was 2 hours. So what if he spent most of his time in this game, probably he can earn 250 dollars a day.

After he turned, Ling was glancing at the vast surface surrounded by a boulder and magical stones embedded in the walls which helped him to have a vision in this vicinity.

Before the raid started, first, he took a glance at the upper right corner of the screen. [5:30 PM], it was the exact time in the real world and virtual world. At this juncture, he had 30 more minutes to play this game and log out. Why? Because he had a part-time job, that somehow helped them with their living expenses.

Yes, he can't let go of that job even though he could easily earn from this game. He had two reasons, first, he believed that he must waste all the opportunities that came into his life. Second, he had a huge debt to the store's owner, not technically money but his kindness.

The [Spinner] skill, it's a type of skill where the monster would use its rounded body to form it like a wheel. By that, the golem would grant speed and strength at the same time. [Avalance], this skill is required mana since the Golem would manipulate the earth element. To be exact, [Avalance] will shake the ground while keen-formed rocks pierced the target's body.

After a quick scan of the information provided by the screen, he closed it eventually. Then, he darted his eyes toward the monster, wondering if his knife could penetrate on monster's tough body.

"It would be better if I see the results right now!"

Ling immediately dashed to the monster, using the dark side of the area to raise his movement speed. It was a good thing that in a short time Ling was trying to maximize his passive skill.

Swing!

When the moment he tried to stab back the monster as it was the blind spot. His arms were suddenly shaking because of the amount of force he released that getting back into his body.

Well, it was not an ordinary result once you hit a solid thing after releasing brute force.

Meanwhile, Ling stepped back as he maintained his distance from the monster. After that, shook his arms, removing the numbness in them.

"Jeez. It's harder than I thought, how did I supposedly break that armor?" He asked himself, looking at the monster forming its body into a wheel.

It seemed like when Ling attacked Golem, the monster reacted that's why it was now protecting its body with the rocks. After that, it was gradually spinning on the surface while staying in its current position. To put it simply, the monster was setting its momentum before attacking so that no one can easily stop its attack.

The golem was spinning uncontrollably, hitting the surface and walls which made Ling was having a hard time following the monster's movements with his naked eyes.

The monster's body was shaped by the surface and walls every time it hit them, signifying how strong force was given by the monster. In fact, the walls and surface were made from concrete components.

"I should be more careful this time. It seems like I would hit by a truck once that monster manages to land a contact." He said cautiously, then started to move his legs, confusing the monster so that he would not be an easy target.

The battle between Ling and Golem started seven minutes ago. Fortunately, none of them manage to land clean a contact. Well, the monster looked slowing down as the momentum it had earlier started to disappear. Plus, the [Spinner] skill had a duration of probably around 8 minutes.

Of course, Ling had no idea about the skill duration since the system didn't provide any kind of information for that. However, he wasn't stupid to not notice the changes in this monster.

He smiled broadly and looked at the monster who gradually lost its engine. 'I'm lucky that there's a dark side in this place, that's why my fatigue consumption is not that high.' He uttered to his mind before adding these words. "Nevertheless, how I could inflict high damage on this monster?"

He briefly paused for a second, carefully analyzing the information he had until he noticed the other part of the monster. Yes, it was the monster's eyes and chest doesn't cover by solid rocks. At this point, he didn't make any second thoughts to do the same attack when he was fighting the Battle Orc.

Finding the weakness of the monster was the best thing to do in every situation so that ranker would easily have the upper hand in the fight. Plus, they can minimize the time consumption during the fight.

Ling used two knives to stab the monster's eyes, it groaned in excruciating pain while casting it [Fetching rock] to push back the ranker. However, Ling had no intention to let the monster utilize its [Avalanche] because of the extreme firepower.

The Golem received another stab in its chest, and now it managed to penetrate its body. Ling used its weight and strength to drag his knife as he was planning to cut the monster.

After he seized the core the Golem turned into red gleaming particles and disappeared like a bubble. After that, Ling fell his butt to the ground due to his intense experience against the monster.

However, something feels weird right now as it feels like someone was watching from afar. So he looked around to see if there was a ranker near the area. At first, everything was clear until he noticed the five rankers had surprised expressions on their faces.

What the hell? That man is really a novice ranker?

He killed a Golem, right? That needed five of us to take one of them.

Who's that ranker? How he could be fast like that? His movements are like a level 30 ranker.

These were the words that came from the rankers. Ling was planning to stay in this game for another 15 minutes since it was 5:45 PM. Yet, he decided to immediately log out after the five rankers quickly charged toward him.

As soon as his body was coated by gleaming white light, his existence in the game disappeared. Soon, he removed the VR helmet that had a clueless expression on his face.

"What's their problem?" He said while placing the console over the pillows. "They looked surprised after I killed the Golem. Anyways, I should prepare for my job and ask Hary tomorrow how I could see the monster cores."

On the next day, Ling entered Hunei University. Hmm... Something strange here as it was the first time that he didn't hear any harsh from his classmates aside from the conversation about a certain ranker.

I'm pretty sure that ranker is blood as he's using knife numerous knives!

I'm also thinking about that, even though his face was blurred in the video clip shared by the system, still, his physique and ability were totally the same.

He's just a novice and killed the Golem by himself. Of course, each one of you would say it's not surprising as he killed the battle Orc alone. But it hits different when you watch him live!

Blood! I would never leave that place no matter how long I wait there.

Ling felt goosebumps running through his spine as the fiver rankers he met yesterday was his classmates. Although he can't tell which one of them was Xyeria because the changes of their appearance, still, he was positive about that.

He flinched for a second after Hary shocked him from his behind. Hary had a broad smile on his face while waving his hand.

"Good morning, Ling! What do you look so scared?" He turned around, determining if there was anyone of his classmates tried to bully him. Yet, he didn't see anyone.

"Hary, are you busy? D-Do you mind playing with me after the class? I would like to show you something because I didn't know what I'm going to do."
