Chapter 2,

Where am I?

I was looking around, many familiar things surrounded me. I saw this things in the game Rank Of The Heroes.

It has a light blue clouds and the whole place is incandescent but everything around you is visible in the eyes. The moon and sun are very close to each other like they'll collide at any minute. The place is field with gigantic birds, rabbits with long horns, enormous sharks, and fast crawling green sea turtles in the lakes. More monster-like animals are also additional eye-catching beings here.

Well, this is unexpected, but more importantly. . .

I'm inside the "Rank of Knights"!

After wandering around, I realized,"Don't all videogames and anime has it?

I tapped every part of my body trying to find my status.

Note: Status is what shows the player's progress in the game. It can also show the characters magic ad strength. It also has a loot box. Loot Box are invisible storages mostly found in games and anime where you can store your items.

After a few tapping I still can't find it.

"then moved to step two, imagine." I muttered.

I just imagined and suddenly, it popped out of the blue.

Note: In elemental Magic, light occupies 50% of the user, it means if you are 50% in light magic and 15% on darkness and 0% in the four elements then you're elemental Magic status is 65% but if you have 50% light, 25% darkness, and 25% in the four element, you're elemental magic status will be 100%.

My status is high but my level is still low. Maybe I should start killing small beasts?

"Anyway, how does Mana Restoration works?" I muttered.

After saying that, a description came, it says, "Mana Restoration activates when your Mana falls below 5"

I didn't know it .as this function. I thought you had to press the question mark. Well, it's not there, though.

I layed on the ground and stared at the black but bright sky. It makes me wonder...

Why is the black sky so bright!?

I suddenly stand up and look around me and suddenly hid on the trees.

"Why am I so damn careless?! Isn't this the forest where beasts live!?" I muttered to myself after I realized where am I.

I sighed "Good thing that there's no sign of any beas--" I stopped mid-sentence when the ground started to shake abruptly.

The sound seemed familiar. It's a D-Rank monster! A monster that shoots acid! A Gigantic Acid Slime!

Note: Acid slimes are slimes that produces any kind of acid. But not all acid slime can produce any kind of acid, it depends on the amount of slimes combined into one.

I have the summoning skill but I can't use it until I have a familiar tamed. Slimes are incompatible with me specially a large one. I can only shatter it apart but now kill it completely. What should I do?!

It took a glance at me causing me to run away for my life. My maximum bspeed is high but I can only use 30.

I felt my knees shaking and shivers enters my spines. My heartbeat is raising. I feel my whole body shaking.

I remembered, I have dark magic, Lvl. 1 dark magic can cause nausea, hallucination, and weak nightmare.

Note: hallucination and weak nightmare are almost the same. Hallucination cause the body to see things that aren't really true, like imagination only, and as for weak nightmare, it's just level one cause it can only be used in deceiving others. Like they can't see anything but actually you are in front of them.

"Ahhhrgg!!!" I exclaimed in pain.

I glanced at my legs while panting heavily. My legs have burn scars and looks like a second-degree burn. An Gigantic Acid Slime's Acid! The pain is here but I have to endure it for my own sake.

Suddenly, a thought came to my mind, one to stop my enemy. I turned to the woods and went straight to where I've been at first. I went to the lake I saw last time and immediately jumped into it without a second thought.

Note: Gigantic slimes produces fluoroantimonic acid. It explodes in water due to exothermic hydration. Science.

A few minutes past but the gigantic slime are still there, it's waiting for me to go to the shore of the lake.

I saw a giant crocodile on the lake and suddenly activated my water magic and created a whirlpool to pull the crocodile away from me. Your own magic doesn't work on yourself. It depends on how you control it. That's why you can't use magic to commit suicide unless it's intentionally done. I swim and swim until I reached the other side of the lake.

Damn I don't have enough mana! I have a lot of power capacity but I can't use it all because of my Level.

I checked my status while trying to recover my mana.

Before I realized, the slime was at the other side waiting fore, it's prey. Shit, I clearly forgotten!

I used my status reveal skill to identify the skill of the slime a few meters away from me.

Special: excretes fluoroantimonic acid

Right now, executing my plan is my priority so I hastily activated my fire magic. I created a fireball that was made up of some of my remaining mana. I don't 'wanna die yet.

Note: Every single knights disappears when they ran out of Mana inside their bodies so one must rest to restore their Mana or else, they'll Disappear. Disappearance only means one thing to them, Death.

While activating fire magic, fluoroantimonic acid came flying to me. I had no choice but activate my barrier to shield myself not knowing that my Mana will perish and I'll go along with it.

If you heated the acid slimes, the slime will disolve and turn into poison. I aimed exactly on it's core and it explode turning into poison. Even though it tried to run away, it's still futile. It wasn't able to escape my fireball.

In this game, the loots from the animals can be sold in a high price but it depends on the things you sell. Poison or toxic from the acid slimes are sold not in market but in the army, Adventurer Guild, or Heroes. Selling this on market is illegal and can get you prisoned.

I was surprised when something dinged beside me.

*Killed Gigantic/King Acid slime.

"Notification?" I asked out of energy, My body is shivering and I feel extremely exhausted.

"I have no Teleportation nor levitation. How do I supposed to get to the Capital of the Knights?" I asked inside me.

Note: Capital Of The Nights are the third strongest capital in the game.

I looked around " I guess it's much more boring being alone" I sighed "it's getting dark the light in the dark sky is fading away, what am I supposed to do? I'm hungry. " I held my growling stomach.

Not long, I felt dizzy and I feel nothing. Everything went black.

*Morning*

I woke up and realized something, it's already morning!

As everything that happened that happened yesterday came to me, I was shocked knowing it. One thing kept me wondering, didn't I died? I ran out of Mana, right?

I hand no choice but to ignore what just happened. I opened my Loot Box to find items that I collected from the slime.

Loots: pison/toxic, arrow, bow.

Mana: 460.00

My Mana capacity increased. I didn't know I had a bow and arrows with me. Maybe I already mastered it? I can use this to protect myself and for hunting since it might take a while before I get out of this forest. I go out to the woods to hunt down wild rabbits for my dinner and saw three of them sleeping in the same place. When I'm about to stike them with my arrows they suddenly open their ayes and looked at me with the look of a vampire desiring for blood. It suddenly attacked me while trying to bit me in the body. They kept on increasing and it made my body shiver. I was so scared that my wind magic automatically activated.

Wind Hammer hit almost all of them and the other ones that lived ran away with fright on their faces.

I took their loots and stored them inside my loot box. I cooked some using fire magic for heat and Earth magic to create a pot.

Note: Earth magic can create not just soil but also elements found on Earth like gold, silver, Cobalt, coal and such.

I could barely eat because of what happened to me so I had no choice but to this it away out of disgust.

After a few walkings, I realized that I can eat fruits so I decided that before I die in hunger I will get help in the Capital Of The Night. But I have one problem. That place is very secured and no criminals can easily get inside.

I walked towards the gate of the capital after I reached it after a few minutes and I saw a guy walked by me at a faster speed.

"Sir, please tell us you identity" the guards holding a spear converged forming a "X" Sign.

"I don't have enough time…" he explained while waving his hand as a form of expressing what he's saying.

"But sir, you should know the rules--" the guards' sentence was slashed by him Midway.

"FINE, FINE!" he drew so much attention because of what he did.

He sighed, "It's Gin, G-I-N, Gin" he repeated three times.

Gin? What? Did I just heard that right? Names can be common right?

"Your capital, sir?" the guard's voice sounded like Fudo.

I froze shortly. What if they ask me my capital?!

"Capital Of The Sorcerer" He answered the guard's question.

Note: Capital of the Sorcerer is known as the strongest capital in this game.

The guards loosen their Spears making a way for that familiar-but-actualy-unfamilliar-guy.

I walked and stoped when the guards said the same question "Sir, your name please?" he asked.

"It's Koshiro" I answered.

"Capital, sir?" he added.

"In the Capital of Archers," my heart beat got faster.

The other looked at the other one and raised his eyebrow, "Your bow, Sir?" my heart raced as fast as a cheetah right now. It's like I'm gonna explode.

"Naturaly, sir, bows stand out the most because it shows the identity of an Archer in the Capital of Archers." He looked at me with zero trust.

I immediately summoned it forth and showed it to them, "here."

They removed the Spears and allowed me to go through the gate. I gave off a one big heavy sigh after I got inside. Damn, that gives me frights!
