8 CHAPTER 8: THE FANTASY WORLD 2
When Taylor entered his house with the packages, there stood three people with shocked look hanging on their faces...
" I just can't believe it" his grandpa
" yes, its a miracle" his father
" I must be dreaming things" his mother
Making him have goosebumps.....
" Why you all are making that face? What happened? " asked Taylor angrily, looking at his family members.
" Don't get angry Taylor it's because I created a bank account for you and deposited 10000 RVM on your 7th birthday. In a month you will reach 17. For almost 10yrs, you didn't spend a single penny. With interest now that account holds about 1million RVM. After 10yrs you spent the money and bought something, that's why we are shocked." said his Father.
Now it was Taylor's turn to be shocked. He now knew how much, he has lost because of that fear illusion created by dream space and that voice. He didn't have a lot of friends. He didn't spend much time with his family. He didn't go out a lot. He didn't have a girlfriend. All of this is because of that damn dream that pushed him to the Abyss of fear.
' They were beside me all the time. They were only thinking about my well-being. Yet, clouded by fear I relentlessly trained. In the thought of protecting them. But they were the ones protecting me. Hereafter I should spend more time with my family'
"But Mom is happy for you Taylor. What did you buy? " asked his mother.
Hearing his mother, he showed them what was in the box.
"So it's a game for all of us to play. Don't worry Taylor we will all play together" said his mother seeing that.
He knew his mother just said that to comfort him, but still he felt a warmth inside.
As for his father and grandfather, they just remained silent. Because they couldn't even assure him that they will play games.
Then they had a family dinner together. And before going into his room. He told to them with a smile,
"Good night, Dad
Good night, Mom
Good night, Grandpa
Sweet Dreams."
Seeing him enter his room, Amanda said,
" I can't believe it, he is changing. He smiles a lot now"
His father Richard, nodded and said,
" I hope so too "
While his grandfather smiled happily.
Inside his room, Taylor held his fist tightly and vowed that he would never let any fear take control of him again.

Since his exams were over, he spent two weeks before the launch of the game with his family members.
He went for boat fishing with his grandfather.
He played basketball with his father. Since his father is a basketball champion in his school days or so he said.
And at last, he went shopping with his mother. Since she was the one always buying the clothes for him till now. So he wanted to help her with shopping, but he regrets that decision. Because of the energy he had isn't enough for this hard job. He thought,
' Can go to war, but not shopping with a woman'
When he reached home after shopping, he saw his father is sitting on the sofa in the hall and watching television in which a debate is going on about Fantasy World. Seeing that he also sat beside him on the sofa. And asked,
"What are they saying?"
His father didn't answer right away, instead asked him,
"How was shopping?"
At the sudden question, he turned around and saw that his mom is away from him. He said in a low voice,
"Hell"
Hearing that his father laughed and said,
"I knew it."
In fact, the very person who gave him the idea to take his mom shopping was his dad. Realizing that he was tricked by his dad, he shouted to mother,
"Mom, dad says that he wants to go shopping together with us when we go out next time ."
"Sure Taylor, I won't forget to call him too," said his mother.
Taylor made a grin towards his father whose face was now almost black. And laughed,
" hehe"
Seeing that Richard too laughed and answered the question Taylor asked him,
" They are saying that ZEON should say more details about the game. Because the VR game that is in the market till now doesn't have the quality that was shown by them in the Fantasy World advertisement. They asked if it can be trusted. And asked about the gameplay or beginner's guide."
" The game is about to be launched in four hours, so why now?" asked Taylor checking his wristwatch which showed 6 pm... The game launch is about 10 pm.
After finishing his dinner at about 8 pm, Taylor entered his room. As soon as he entered his room, he got a call.

Edward's face came in the holographic view, he looked toward Taylor and asked,
" Boss. Are you ready?"
" There are still two hours, fatty"
"Boss. You have to wear the helmet by 9.30 as there will be lots of verifications and since it's the first boot of helmet, it will take time for you to adjust"

As Edward taught Taylor about the basics of the helmet using, and Avatar creation the time went on and reached 9.30...
"Okay, see you in the Fantasy World"
saying that Edward ended the call.

Taylor inserted the game card in the slot of the helmet and wore it as per the teaching of Edward.
Taylor could only see darkness after he wore the helmet. Then little by little the brightness came to a white screen. And then the colors changed ending at the rainbow. Taylor could feel his eyes adjusting to every color and surroundings. After a minute he heard a melodious voice, as a tiny fairy that is made out of pure light rotated around his head,
"Welcome ranger to the fantasy world, I'm a fairy named, Lite. I will help you in creating your avatar "
Seeing the cute fairy, he wants to hold it in his hands.
"Ranger please name your game avatar? That must not be less than 1 character not higher than 12 characters. Once the Avatar is named, cannot be changed."
Hearing that Taylor named, "Taylor"
"'Taylor' is named for your avatar. In the Fantasy World, there is no class division until level 10. So you can pick any one beginner weapon from the weapon rack" saying that the Lite fairy made a swing in the air, upon which a weapon rack appeared before Taylor.
Taylor picked the beginner's spear.
"The novice gift box and the special gift box are sent into your inventory." After reaching Fantasy World you can open the boxes.
"Then, next up is the pain reception rate option. The pain reception rate is the amount of the pain felt when a player is hurt in combat. Pay attention, it is only in combat, non-combat related bodily or physical contact will not be affected, and will only affect pain reception, no other senses will be affected. The choices for the pain reception rate ranges from 10% – 100%. Strength, constitution, agility, and spirit. Taylor didn't use the stat point right away, ' I will add it later after thinking '
